Terrible news. Didn't think this was going to happen at least for a few more years but
it has been officially announced on the CartoonNetwork forum for FusionFall.

FusionFall is officially shutting down on the 29th of August. (With a farewell event today on the 23rd.)

This forum will still be here though for archive and normal use as always
since this forum isn't just used for FusionFall.

I don't know of any way to save it. It was so spontaneous how this occurred.
It's certainly a sad day for Xtreme. And the entire FusionFall community, new and old.


It's been great. I've enjoyed time with friends in the game.
I've played on and off since early to mid 2009.
Thanks to everyone who's ever been on FusionFall to experience the great game it is
and to enhance the experience for everyone else.

This game will be missed.
Sad that it had the same destiny as another great old game called MiniMatch which shut down years ago too.

@Dane: *Remember. Just thought I'd let you know.  

As for my site, I'm not shutting it down. I'm keeping it up. Besides, it has the yearbooks on it! If only I could've taken pictures. That, and I'm planning on updating it with Project: Exonaut and FusionFall: Heroes news.

I never got to defeat Fuse, (maybe Jack the jersey devil will fend him off  )

Lovely people it has been a great time well spent here and on fusionfal, I will miss you all and hope you all be very successful in life this game, may have inspired some to create there own game.. Who knows these years are unpredictable maybe it will be back, but not as we expect. Here's some accounts if you want them.

well don't game companies have tons of different people working on different things and then mix everything together. Like a team of concept artists, team of story writers, team of model makers, team of map makers, team of coders, team of animators to make a trailer, and people keep servers up by paying a company a fee of $100 dollars for mmo's
 
well people who need someone else to keep it up that is. That's pretty much how some people took a game they liked and made the private server.

@Grumpy, maybe FusionFall should just sell the game with limited licenses?
(As in, they don't have full licenses for the characters but a license just for the game
and can make any additions they want.)

SkyFallen never got to play FusionFall again because of his bad graphics card.

Oh my sweet jesus I missed the farewell event?! What is this blasphemy?! I am dissapointed in myself x.x ...

I wish it didn't succumbto this but... what can we do? ;-; I'm so sad I've made so much memories from there... and I'm pretty sure others had too.

@Rioxnation/KaTomic12, don't worry, it wasn't really much of an event,
it was just that everyone got to level 36 and got nearly unlimited taros.
And it was kinda the same as the days after it. People will tend to be online more I think
since we're running out of days left of FusionFall.  
But still no chat. Still, you know, try to enjoy FusionFall as much as you can
before it goes disappears. :/

AND I think CartoonNetwork announced it so suddenly so they don't get
as much from us I mean, if they announced it a month or two earlier,
we would have had more hope that they would change their minds
and we would start I dunno, writing letters, emails, spamming, I don't know
but it seems kinda quiet in terms of our reaction because as far as I can tell,
we're just quite depressed that's there's nothing we can do and
CartoonNetwork are sometimes stubborn in their decisions that they sometimes are unwilling
to listen to fans. :/
But they announced it around 6 days, SIX DAYS (not even a week)
before the official closing date...what hope would there be then?

I've sent a couple of emails and haven't got any replies yet. >_-
They won't even tell us why they're doing it.
If you're seeing this CartoonNetwork, think about how many people
you'll upset by closing the game down. IT'S THE BEST CARTOONNETWORK GAME EVER.
Then MiniMatch in second I think.

After sending a 3rd email about the closure of FusionFall,
they said thanks for fan feedback and provided links to
the CartoonNetwork FusionFall forum and the FusionFall news page. (The old one I think.)

Since the day it was announced (23rd) that FusionFall was to be shut down on the 29th,
it rained since then until a few days after, here where I live, where Oliver lives, even in Florida
as freak weather as a member here mentioned.  (Can't rememeber who.)
That's quite strange isn't it...

It's something, at least not yet removed the game from their servers. (for now).

I wonder if CN can actually remove the game from the servers...? Well, even if they do, you think they'd keep a back-up copy of the world for archive? I mean, it would be kind of a waste to fully delete a game that you've been developing for years. Unless it was the 2008 beta version, which looked a LOT different.

No toon-shading, different text, the enemies and NPCs in different areas, the Foster's gates closed, different trees, different FM texture (Though it stayed the same under the Sweet Revenge, rain, no energy shields along the Infected Zones... the inventory screen looked sweet, though.

I can't find a picture of it, but it looked like a bigger version of the one you see other players using. I bet Kiva supplied those things, instead of Dexter. Evidence:
