I've had a long talk with Ares and I'm coining this Phrase SO THERE!

The introduction of the
Reverse Engineer Paks

The concept isnt that hard to grasp. However the result is quite cool I should say.

Ever wanted a shirt that you KNOW FULL WELL you cant get UNTIL you get to a much higher level??

Want a weapon with particular look?

Dont care about the stats? Well A Reverse Engineer Pak is for you!

Reverse Engineering by definition terms is the analyzing of a object's structure, make up and/or composition in order reproduce said object or item.

In almost a way.......this process is sorta similar.

Take for instance the Planecaster Recolor Set.

Now,

In order to even TOUCH a Planecaster, you have to be atleast Level 8.

This is where a Reverse Engineer pak comes in.

Say for instance you have a character that you feel that you would want to have the Engraved Planecaster..............even though you're only on level 5.

The process of Reverse Engineering would simply involve Getting ahold of the Item you ~~want to show off liek a BOSS with~~ want to use. Let's just say for this instance, the Engraved Planecaster, and have some fodder guns to de-level the gun with.

It would go something like this:

Fodder:
Fodder in this case will be referring to the common place weapons that are easy to get a hold of and that will also be absorbed/destroyed in your efforts of de-leveling your gun

Things to note:

You have to go in order - starting from the Level closest to your target weapon.
- It is IMPERATIVE THAT YOU GO IN ORDER!!!

You can try to skip a level while de-leveling by going from a lvl 12 gun to a lvl 10, but it lowers your chances for a successful de-leveling.

and remember, each attempt consumes cash.
So beware.
You will need ALOT of money for this.

-each time you de-level your target Weapon, It takes some hefty cash.

Each time you de-level your target Weapon....BUT FAIL MISERABLY, It takes some hefty cash.

So make sure you're loaded.
It takes alot of effort to do a Reverse Engineer

-to tell the truth.....the effort may SERIOUSLY out weigh the result.
You have to hope that the person preparing the Reverse Engineer pak likes you because to make sure you got the correct items/ knowing where to get the item needed for the Reverse Engineer process is taxing.

Oooor...........hope the person is bored enough to do so...
Weapons and clothes are easy..........Accesories (Angel Prayers) are not.

- dont bother asking for an Angel Prayers Reverse Engineer Pak.

I doubt ANYONE LIKES YOU ENOUGH TO GO THROUGH THAT KIND OF EFFORT.

NOT EVEN YOUR MOM.

Besides, I doubt there are ANY backpack items that anyone can come across COMMONLY FOR ONE that folks would be willing to part with.

Yes, in Peach Creek Commons as well as other Busy thoroughfares such as Mt. Blackhead there are the Cooks with their Cooking Pots that will level up your favorite gun, sword, Forever Knight Boots, or anything of that matter.

It is here where you can also Reverse Engineer cool items and walk around like a pro at a low level.

Hope this becomes a thing.
And also hopefully people can stop asking me for my shirt.

Huh... I've been doing this ever since I started the game... so that's what it's called...

I was too lazy to level it down one by one, so I discovered that if you fuse it with something 2 levels down, (ex. lvl 16 gun with level 14 gun) It has a 90 percent chance of success. This saves you money and hunting for fodder. Fusing it with something 4 levels down, (ex. lvl 16 with level 12 gun) has a 60-50 percent chance of success. Fusing it with something 6 levels down, (ex. lvl 16 with lvl 10 gun) has about 40-30 percent chance of success. Fusing it something lvl 10 or more down, (ex. lvl 16 with 16-x gun, x being >10) has about 20 percent to 10 percent (decreases per level) chance of success.

Now, if you're lazy (like me), this saves a lot of time and effort and cuts the time in half, looking for fodder things. Now if you're a multi-billionaire/millionaire/general rich person (also like me), you can afford to run the lottery and combine high difference in level items.

Huh, I never thought to level down items. Well I did, but I never actually did it.

Not much point in me leveling down items considering I'm level 36, but maybe on Ollie or the Prof. sometime. Maybe. Probably.

Actually........I just decided to call it that. Clever Eh?

I've only been UPGRADING my items for quite a while.
It wasn't until I created other characters, that I missed walking around NOT looking like everyone else.

So that's why I wanted to start Reverse Engineering stuff.

So I can look like a pro..........at a very low level.

not yet. I haven't checked it's level yet.

To tell you the truth, only those that are of the same level have a good chance of making a Reverse Engineer pak for an item.

If I cant get ahold of a level 27 or so shirt and then every level underneath it respectively in order..........then I cant succesfully de-level it.

Just like The System said, the greater difference in the two item's levels...........the smaller the chance of the item actually coming out as a successful attempt.

But now that you have mentioned it..........I will try it soon enough. Very Happy

It won't work on Guide items or accessories, though. Just a reminder to those wanting to try getting those at a lower level. Then again, I don't see how Reverse Engineering Guide items for that purpose would work. Then again, the Universe works in mysterious ways.

you can make a any shatter gun go into any shatter gun even if it says 1 chance
if it has 0 then ok not possible but 1

ive done it before on other guns with purple fuse breaker it just takes time.

We always used to use Croc Pots in the Future for our Bad Max items cos they're lvl 5.

If your trying to combine an item and it just has 1 chance go for it, just keep on because it will work.
I have done it many times you dont have to do this just to get that item your level.
