| Right, first of all, this is not a Nintendo Bashing thread, I own a Wii U and its great, but with the recent news that Rayman Legends has gone multiplatform and Nintendo have lost exclusivity and activision openly slamming the console, is this a sign that third party developers are abandoning the console this early in its lifespan? We have the launch of two powerhouse consoles over the next 12-18 months which will almost certainly overshadow Nintendo's latest offering- I can definately see shades of the Dreamcast in the Wii U launch but what do you guys think, can Nintendo claw it back?

| Activision pretty much hates everything that isn't their's. Look what they did to Spyro! And I'm sure Nintendo will get back on their feet. Especially with the remake of Zelda: The Wind Waker for the U. I say that we all just give 'em time.
When Miyamoto is gone, THEN we can all panic. Unless he ends up like The Night Owl in that episode of Regular Show and ends up as a cyborg. |

All consoles die out sometime. Usually of "old age". So again, we'll have to wait and see how long the Wii U is. But I think it'll eventually prevail. Especially if Nintendo DO make a remake of Zelda: Majora's Mask. A lot of people have been asking for that ever since Ocarina of Time 3D. |

| I think one of the consoles had a late start. I think it was the Gamecube or something. Developers didnt know the full extent and capabilities of the processor and engine itself until a couple of games after its initial release. But I think a Developer finally pushed the limits of a game and the console delivered.
I like to think that the U system may have untapped capabilities just like the addition of the Motion Plus add in for the Wii system. Just need a Developer to come along to see what It can do.... |

| Speaking of the Gamecube, I still can't believe it was originally going to have a 3D add-on. But since it was going to be more expensive than the console itself, they weren't put on the shelves. Luigi's Mansion was going to be one of the 3D games, and thus, Miyamoto played a Luigi game (I think it was a Luigi's Mansion remake) to test the 3DS' 3D capabilities. He wanted another Luigi game and now we have Luigi's Mansion 2. Little bit of Nintendo history for you guys. I know quite a bit of the Gamecube, since it's one of three consoles I grew up with, and my favourite consoles of all time. |

Ocarina of Time is better than I thought. Plus, it's got Gorons. Everyone loves Gorons! No one truly knows why, but we do. |

Yeah... And it is a BIG sword! But I don't use it as much as the Master Sword for some reason. Too bad I learned the hard way you can't teleport to where you're supposed to go during that side-quest. Cause the timer just goes to 0. I still love the Gorons, though. I just wish there were more than 3 in Skyward Sword. You don't even see any at Eldin Volcano, which is believed to be Death Mountain in the future. You'd think that since the Gorons are basically living rock, and are invulnerable to lava, they'd live there. But no. Just Mogmas, Red Chuchus, Fire Keese and Bokoblins. Ya know what? We should just abandon this thread and turn it into a discussion about Nintendo games. |
