over the next week, my sister and i were tested on. during those tests, i discovered my sister wasnt like me. she had only a little bit of immortal blood which meant she couldnt be considered an immortal, unlike me. i was considered an immortal because i had more immortal blood than mortal. i know i know, how could a 5 year old possibly understand all of this information. that answer is quite simple. my father, eric, was a science whiz. he knew everything there was to know. he chose to have me and my sister home schooled. he taught us everything he knew, which was a lot. one day after the tests, Lord Jonathans son, Nicklous, came in with 2 boxes. one small, the other was kind of big. he gave the smaller one to my sister and the larger one to me. then, he grabbed a chair and sat by our cells. i was curious as to what was inside, but i didnt know if i could trust him. he was the Lords son, after all. he saw my hesitation and smiled. "dont worry" he said. "its a harmless gift because im sorry. sorry that this is happening to you both. i also thought it would help you down here." i slowly opened the box. when i saw what was inside, i was kind of shocked. it was a hoodie. the thing that had me shocked was that it was just my kind of hoodie. it was black. "look in the hood" he said snapping my out of my daze. i looked in the hood and inside was pink hair dye. i smiled, then looked up. "thank you" i said. he nodded. i looked over to my sister and she was smiling her devilish grin. she looked at me and held up her gift. it was a dagger with a red handle. "figured you guys would need them if your going to escape anytime soon." Nicklous explained. me and my sister looked at him surprised. "did you just say what i think you said?" Jennifer asked. he nodded. "i dont like having to see 2 people, never the less girls around my age, being tortured like that. its just horrible." i slipped on the hoodie. it was a bit big. "i got it a few size bigger than i normally would have so you could keep it for a while" i nodded. "thank you, Nicklous." i said. now, he looked surprised. "you know my name?" i nodded again. "my dad knew the royal family like he knew the back of his hand." he stood up and put the chair back. "well, i better get out of here before the guards suspect something." he turned to Jennifer. "keep the dagger hidden. only use it when your going to escape. give them a surprise." she nodded. as he walked out, i began to wonder. why was he trying to help us escape? i didnt believe his story one bit. my sister looked at me as if she was thinking the same thing. then the metal door opened. Jennifer quickly hid her dagger. 4 guards came over to us. one smired. "the master needs to see you, Aurora." my blood went cold. i stopped breathing. normally i wouldnt have, but this is the first time hes only summond me. i nodded, not showing my fear. my jacket, which was hidden in plain sight, sat behind me as i stood up. i walked up to the door and they opened it. as we walked out, we took a different turn then we normally did. this made my fear rise even higher. they opened up another door. the first thing i noticed was a table. then i noticed the tools next to it. my eyes widened. there by the table stood the masked figure. he motioned for the guards to lay me on the table. i got a better look at the tools. they were tools one would would use when in surgery or something. began to shake."dont worry. you wont feel a thing." the figure said. i felt a sharp pain in my neck, then my world went dark.
