Am I late for the party or has a new Max Steel show arrived recently? On the CartoonNetwork Asia Pacific and Australia websites, I saw "Max Steel Turbo Reload" adverts and I wonder if the 2013 show is any good.
Anyone remember the original Max Steel animated show? I used to watch it in the mornings as a kid.
I'm quite surprised they made a new one so many years later. Reminds me of Captain Scarlet. (Which reminds me of Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell Conviction. Also, the main character in the original Max Steel reminds me of Brendan Fraser.)
WARNING: Max Steel may contain characters that may frighten young children. (Particularly the character 'Psycho' although, I wasn't frightened as a kid, I just thought he was pretty cool. )

EDIT: saw a bit of an episode...it's actually pretty good! Although I do kinda miss the original's elements. The new one does seem a little more cartoony. But still looks good.

Oh. I forgot all about the fact they were bring it back. I wasnt all that into Max Steel when I was younger but it was alright. I forgot to check the trailer out about the new show or even check for news about it.
But now that you posted that trailer and I have watched it, I must say:
Wow!
Not Bad! I always liked buddy stories. The Lethal Weapon series comes to mind. Its fun how the two heroes always seem to have their weird ways of getting along and working together.
However that blatant disrespect for Cake is TOTALLY UNFORGIVABLE! WHO DOESNT LIKE CAKE!?

I personally prefer the first Max Steel than this...
but at least is not a bad show though.

@Redkaizer, I think I prefer the original too but I'm not sure because (despite *possibly* being blinded by nostalgia, I'm sure it was a good show though back in it's time) I can't really remember the stories from the original and I haven't seen a full episode of the new version.
I'll probably check them both out at a later date though. They both seem good. I remember as a kid I tried making the wrist device out of card or something. xD Wah? I was like....5 or something....I think the show originally aired in 2000 and I probably watched it around that time. (In the mornings, along with Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Martial Law, that Jackie Chan cartoon, Spider-Man the animated series and some other shows lol.)
