If Fusionfall has no developers maybe we should work for CN for free. We may be able to talk CN into doing so. We can use the free program Unity and the full edition if you have it. We may be able to host it our selves if CN allows. If not we will start a kickstarter or indiegogo to buy the rights to it. So come on.

So....You want to try to get Cartoon Network to hand over a game they paid quite a large sum of money for....so that all us experienced coders, designers, etc....to continue it for free.....
Nah, totally excellent idea that isn't farfetched or literally insane.

Well, despite captain Sarcasm's witty retort.........I agree with him.
None of us except for The Cap't here knows C#. And If you dont even know what a C# is, you dont have much hope for doing much with the game.
BUT! not trying to be a nay-sayer here.
What you would honestly need here to even consider baking up an idea for this would be ONE: a Team of Coders that are experienced in C#.
The Cap't here knows quite a bit in C# but Game building and maintenance takes alot of effort and more than just one person. Granted, one person CAN do it.................but you'll just be stuck in the "Fez" situation where the game is coded by one person and the release date just keeps getting pushed back over an expanse of years to the point where even the most dedicated followers of your genius doubt you'll EVER release the game.
TWO: you'll need to set yourself up as a company Cartoon Network would want to hand their property off to.
This isn't as farfetched as you would think............seeing as how CN would still retain rights over the initial property and just ALLOW you to keep building on their property and maintaining it. This is how Funimation, Vizmedia, and all other dubbing companies deal with all their Anime rights I like to believe.
But I dont think they'll be willing to do business with a rag-tag group that doesnt have any gaming experience under their belt. Maybe if Experienced coders were apart of your team and some other stuff I cant seem to think of right now, it probably would aid into you getting a license to continue their game.............under their watchful eye of course.
THREE: All of the Game's maintenance in between
If hurdle A and Hurdle B were to be hopped and you find yourself as the proud owner of a license to continue FusionFall, You'll need some funds to put into the game.
I'm sure CN wouldn't mind giving the new company its servers and Game files. But as far as paying for Bandwith, internet fees, and any other fees that comes with supporting a game with a new influx of 1,500+ new clients, you'll need alot more dough (cash, money, denero) Than you currently have. Hypothetically assuming that you got a team of 7-9 people to help with the game, we would all need to have jobs that pull in a sizeable ammount of income for the upkeep, fees, and bills.
So, yeah. Not naysaying at all.
Just telling you what I know you'll need in hopefully the most unbiased way possible. If you are able to somehow make it work, then may the force be with you.

1. I DO know what c# is.
2. The reason I have this post is to get this team together.
3. I may start a kickstarter or indiegogo to raise money.

Hold your horses there cowboy. He's new so he wouldnt have known.
Login, if you want to respond to what anyone has said without creating such a big post, simply put @(name of person)
so it would be like this:
@Login: This is how to do a small response post.
This way you dont stretch the size of the thread. No one really likes scrolling all the way down anyone's quoted post just to read that the person quoting the other person just responded "I agree."
Lots of wasted space dont you think???

@Dragoon.... LOOOOL!
@Undelos, every thread needs an Undelos post. You bring some ideas I didn't think of, Undelos.
In my opinion, realistically, the best WE can do is just user generated content. Mostly graphics and ideas. That's about it really. Coding is the fundamental part of the game development process unless you just use prefabs and other pre-made materials.
But most good games do require some new coding, sadly.
The best possibility for FF I can currently think of is waiting for months and months for the advert money to stack up enough to pay a small, relatively cheap development team to get to work. I don't know anything about CN's income at all so I really can't say how likely it is. But it has been like 2 years or something since the last update so I don't know what to tell you. There's always hope I guess.
I wonder.....Wiltilt, perhaps me, you Drazil Austin (if he still does this kinda thing) and others who know the Unity engine enough, we could somehow help others (with video tutorials and perhaps downloadable startup kits) understand the engine and quickly start making stuff.
Even if there's a lack of coding (prefabs will only be able to bridge the gap to a moderate extent) things like custom made animations, texture work, etc. can sort of make up for it.
Look at Wiltilt's game, it's not bad. We can work with that sort of level. It's playable. And with enthusiastic players with some form of talent (graphics, animation, 3d modelling, etc.) we can make little projects....
Ahh who am I kidding, I don't have time for this lol, I have to study for next year!! *Runs in panic*
I need to get that university science scholarship.
Let's be honest, most of us aren't even 18.... We don't have enough experience or time for this stuff. If you're 16...STOP. Just forget gaming, you have the opportunity to get all A*s in your GCSEs, A levels and possibly your university degree.
I'm just trying to be sensible. Such a young team isn't going to accomplish much.

I suggest we all go to the contact us section on Cn.com and just send them long emails with our ideas and suggestions on what they should do with the game. Im assuming most of you probably already did this but we should try one more, because i know there listening why would they turn chat off prob 'cuz a parent complained about inapropiate language in the game. So if everyone just sends them a wave of emails there bound to listen. Im not telling everyone to send like 50 emails a day im just saying send them 1 LOOONNGGG email discussing your ideas ect. and Undelos i know you have some great ideas so does everyone else so just share them with CN one more time. :bananalama: (sorry for spelling errors i was rushing)

The thing is, most of our ideas may be creative and such but 99% of them will just be over the top and impractical to implement into FusionFall.
Even more of a problem, I don't think they can do much with FusionFall at the moment in terms of updating or even changing ANYTHING in the game since they haven't made ANY changes to the game for like 2 years. (Not including 'maintenance', occasional character re-location help and the chat change. )
For the next step, CN needs to tell us what's going on. Either that, or they could just get a new team. (They'd need the money though.)
People may assume that this is CartoonNetwork, that they're probably very very very rich.... But the reality is, money management isn't as simple as that. The whole corporation may be filthy rich but this money is seriously divided into things like shares, paying for staff, rights to cartoons and even specific characters.
The web team probably won't want to play around with FF unless they're sure that they can A. pay for a dev team and B. get enough in return. I.E. enough traffic and interest in FusionFall.
Plus they got other projects and stuff. Don't know what else to say.

*Hypes it up for the next 2 years*
Ok guys so over these 2 Years I have made....fusionfall heroes
Guys we gotta differentiate reality from fantasy.
Let's just enjoy the game while we have it and make the memories that will count for the future
Face it we all are going to drift away from this game eventually.
I absolutely LOVE all of undelos ideas but I know CN won't listen to undelos and other kids.

Players believe the future for the game is dead. We, on the other hand, still like the game and appreciate it for what it is.
Dont worry bud. You're preaching to the choir. Most here haven't given up on the game.
It's just that all enthusiasm that you are putting into this, we've already been through.

Welp good luck to you man getting ideas started is a pain in the .Every idea is worth a shot so in the end even the world hopeless has the word Hope in it.Ideas are great but sadly all of them can not succeed. Yea I hope the game survives its just with the options at hand... the future looks as bright as a dying sun .Blinding at first but then slowly the light slips out into the distance.

You speak as though you're 14 or older. I'm kinda impressed. Wellz........In my long stay as a byproduct of the interw3bs, I have long since learned that somethings that were cast out due to obsurity, became popular again due to the power of the internet.
Take for instance He-Man. Most know this cartoon as that one show that you may have watched when you were younger but now you cant exactly remember it since you have to go and change your baby's diapers.
However, 3,212,020 million People know it as:
Wild Thornberrys?
WARNING: may be a little inappropriate:
How about Half Life??
Point I wanna make is, It has to be more than JUST a FusionFall vid. I think if it offered something else for viewers to watch this for then the popularity will return.

You kidding lol.... *Steps back from volunteering line* I have to do science! Nah but seriously, I don't have time for any of this stuff if it takes longer than a week. University and education generally waits for no man. (Unless you have the cash to mess around....NOPE.)
Besides....others....I don't think there are many in the online FF community that know their way round Unity.
So basically, it wouldn't be worth it. (For me. Or anyone for that matter.)
@Blue Fox, years ago I tried UDK and I got lost with it. Unity was easier to use for me anyway. But if you know how to do that stuff, nothing's stopping you from making prototypes. I do have to say, it all seems like a wasted effort. It's not really in our hands.
