I dont have many complaints about FusionFall. The world is very well developed and it is much more entertaining than Second Life. One thing I have a problem with is that fect that CN and Majesco focus too much on Nanos.

They spared no expense making the world of FusionFall but I feel that they dont give us enough reason to explore it all. Instead they only focus on giving players more nanos to choose from. You can only do so much with them.

They need to focus more on touching up on their Gameplay such as putting Easter eggs in hard to get to areas as well as making it possible for us to somehow dodge attacks. Nanos arent the reason that I still play this game and unfortunetly I guess they don't realize that....

I agree, although exploring the unknown/debugland/other off-limits areas are well off-limits,
I'm always very tempted to tag along but sometimes I just don't bring myself to risk my main character (by being lost or banned), it brings back too much precious nostalgia.
The fusionfall world is very well made and I think they should bring back the future.
The fusionfall nanos were never interesting to me after they started changing the nanos order then I just got confused
and thought there was no point trying to get my nanos all over again.
It would be better if they just release those extra nanos through level 37 and beyond but of coarse this is probably
not what they want to do since they'd have to work harder and start makign new missions which takes even longer than making a few nanos.

The main reason I play fusionfall occasionally is....
1. Nostalgia
2. Friends
3. Exploration
4. all the above are related in a way.

Good times, helping my friends with missions, defeating bad max and don doom, exploring, defeating fuse....
You won't get that sort of nostalgia from runescape...got bored of the tutorial in 2 mins, quit the game in 10 mins.
FF is amazingly unique and realistic - in terms of character formation and worldy presence I'm not talking
directly about graphics even though they are pretty good too.

I dont mean things that are off limits. I mean places like all of Downtown, the top of the KND Tower, Places in Eternal Vistas, as well as other places that takes exploring to discover.

Another way I can explain this is by using StarFox:Adventures and Spyro the Dragon as examples. InsOmniac purposly put in the goal of collecting gems to one, give the player more purpose, and 2, to give the player more grounds to explore their world and see it from various angles and views.

StarFox: Adventures was also a very brilliantly done game. The landscapes were wonderful and the little details on Krazoa Palace made it absolutely Stunning! However, the only collectables that they had were only ones on whatever mission you were on and all the boxes that were all over the place only contained health and power gems. You couldnt store health and the powergems that you collected didnt often need to be collected so it didnt offer much incentive to explore other than for what ever reason you chose.

Spyro the Dragon and StarFox Adventures were really good games but only Spyro offered an excuse to explore.

I like nanos....but not THAT much they were funny to dance with when we were fighting bad max and don doom!

Yeah. They lose their luster after a while.

I always wanted to walk around with my Rex nano since respectively my Avatar's name is also Rex but they exhaulst so quickly and I dont really want to go through my nano potions to look fashinable so........I dont.

You cant keep your favorite one out for a decent ammount of time so what's the use. Other than the fact that they come in your favorite characters..........what else do they contribute?

Now I'm not dissing Nanos. It's just that CN and Majesco need to focus on improving the Gameplay and other factors as well.


OOOOH! Like say for instance! I noticed this in SecondLife where you can simply type a short key into your chat and you can instantly show an emotion like anger, fear, or joy. Instead of sitting there for a minute looking through that list of emotions, you can simply type in your chat "/a -or- /anger" and your character will instantly show he's angry. Makes being in FusionFall much more fun especially if you can show how you feel on the fly!

Agreed.
Staying in an emotional state (aswell as your nanos) would be awesome in fusionfall!
If someone's upset, emotions can help get a nice Samaritan to help out the troubled player instead of that
player hesitating to find someone who would understand.
Another awesome thing would be flying...but let's not over do it...lol.
Other emotions would be a cool addition too such as sleepy/sleeping emotion, being set on fire showing you're angry,
having ice over your character's body showing you're a cool person, (not exactly an emotion but cool right?)
The forward flip animation when double tapping the forward key is cool, I would like to see more of things along those lines.

I don't think so since they're on a tighter budget since the game went free (as you may have noticed, support isn't as reliable as it used to be)
and it's probably very difficult getting the kind of physics and particle systems to match what we're suggesting.
Maybe one day. :confused:

Even when the game wasn't free, I submitted a design for a new set and they said it takes a long time to create items so even if they do decide there is a need to add my design in the game, it would take a long time to create and publish.
