Only because Undelos was too busy to make the Xtreme logo in ice idea that I came up with on the Decorations thread (Which we apparently forgot about). I tried doing it myself, but I'm still a GIMP beginner. So instead I gave everyone Santa hats, moustaches (With a sir one for Hom) and beards, and took about an hour adding the tinsel and lights. I would have chosen to use a .PNG image but a .JPG/.JPEG image is a LOT smaller in file size and there's not too much difference in quality. This is so people with slower internet connections can view the forum quicker. I do feel sorry for those with such connections. The Xtreme website used to be PNG BOMBED. Then I wanted to optimise it a bit by replacing .PNG images with .JPG ones wherever possible. Wait....was that sarcasm? Don'tcha just love it when you realise something after wasting your time? (Just kidding. ) And there you have it. Why I try to use JPGs and not PNGs anymore.  |
