10 years ago today, after a 15-year hiatus (not counting the TV movie and specials), the world was treated to a revival of a show that has been part of our culture here since it's first airing in 1963... Doctor Who had returned! With a whole new Doctor, a new companion, a redesigned TARDIS and new adventures! The first story, Rose marked the first appearance of the 9th Doctor and new companion, well... Rose. 10 years on, and we are onto our 4th Doctor and onto our 9th companion (as in regular TARDIS travelers, not just people who helped the Doctor in 1 or 2 episodes). It felt like only yesterday we were celebrating 50 years of the whole show...

Oh gee if you did that, it would take forever! xP That's why I started with Rose sometime last year. Although I knew JUST enough of the classic series to know what was what. Although the thing about Doctor Who is that with each Doctor, it's sometimes like a new show. Especially if a companion isn't around during regeneration. Although you COULD start with with beginning of the "Impossible Girl" arc, which starts with Asylum of the Daleks and continues a few episodes later with The Snowmen and ends with The Name of the Doctor. From what I remember, there isn't really much you'd have missed in terms of story. But it would probably be best to watch The Angels Take Manhattan and the short story, The Great Detective to be on the safe side. That way, you'd have missed at least one thing, but not a whole lot. It IS also part of the Trenzalore arc, but that isn't exactly mentioned in previous stories. Only subtly throughout season 6 until it's final episode. Then it continues in The Name of the Doctor and ends with The Time of the Doctor. I do have this feeling all I have said is just nonsense to you right now. But hopefully it gave you an idea of where you could start (which is totally up to you) and the basics of it. ... *Looks at own post* Oh lord... I'm turning into X!

Modern Doctor Who, yes. The whole show has been around for 51 years. And I know... time sure flies... especially when it's like this: |

So that's what the inside looks like... My Whovian-side hates it, though. 4th Doctor in the 9/10th Doctors' TARDIS...! Although, to be fair: Plus almost every anniversary episode ever. EDIT: I REALLY need to play W101 again! ...Eh, I'll just catch Regigigas in OmegaRuby today, skip work on The Wind Waker Pack for TTR and play W101 later.

I kinda forgot... my laptop's fans need cleaning. They'll hopefully be cleaned next week. But in the meantime, I've been using these external fans which have been working. But they stopped the other day. So now I can't play anything on here for long because the thing will freeze. I don't mean the game, I mean the computer. :\
