So, this post is very heavily off of something I found on Legacy, so y'all have probably seen it, but I wanted to bring it here, because I feel more comfortable here and I would love to hear what you guys have to say.
the question: "How did your time online gaming begin, and where did it lead to from there? I'd like appropriate answers, but do not feel you are excluded from this. I've always been curious about peoples history on the internet, and I want to see your stories!"
so, I'll give you guys what I answered. (I know! I finally branched out on Legacy instead of just posting my own threads! haha)
- My Answer:
I had posted the longest response on there....
But OH WELL!
I guess they finally got a proper introduction to me and my ways xD

Okay, finally posting now that I remembered.
I don't remember the full story, but I do seem to remember it starting with ToonTown Online back in 2005 when I was 8 or 9. Back then, the game had 3-day free trial periods. 7 if I was lucky for reasons I still don't know, probably a glitch or just Disney being generous.
I used to play it every time I went to my sister's house and when I wasn't playing on her PS1 or Gamecube. So unless I was sleeping over (which I did most weekends), the 3-day trial was really only in use for 1 day.
I don't know why I didn't just play on our home computer, which we did have. I did so later though, around the time they added bear toons in December that year. I didn't get a membership until around March 2007 when they added pigs (hence King Crazy was born.
Just over a year later (around June, I think), I learned of Club Penguin. Of course, being 2008, this was CP in its prime. No EPF, other Puffle colours were simply rumoured, parties weren't Disney just advertising, etc. Because of CP, I started playing TT less and less, but still played both, especially once I got my first laptop for my 12th birthday that year.
THEN along came FusionFall.
I learned about it in late-November or early-December, whenever the 2nd-to-last open beta test was. Because of the graphics potato on my laptop then, I couldn't play it much. But I still managed to create an Ed-like character. And... somehow get lost in Fusion Buttercup's lair... BUT then came along December the 28th! The final FusionFall sneak peek started (with a free Cryptid Batpack for everyone...
) and I created Oliver Zombieweasel! Back then, "weasel" wasn't in the Pick a Name list, so I typed it instead.
Once the sneak peek ended and the game was officially released, OZw was stuck in the Past, where I left him, waiting for the game to be released here or for it to become free to play. So over the course of 2009, I kept making new characters. Once that character had finished all the missions, I would make a new one. That continued until April 2010 of course, once FF went Free to Play. Once that happened, OZw was the one I played most of the time. Even if I went to finish the ones I created back in 2009, OZw was my hang-out and check out new stuff guy.
BUT now that TT and FF are gone, I'm stuck playing console and PC games again and ToonTown Rewritten, which I don't play that much anymore anyway.
Along the way, I did play other games like Pirates of the Caribbean Online (which also closed, but a fan-version of it is currently in closed beta and is called Legend of the Pirates Online) and Wizard101, but those games didn't give me the memories I had with these three.

Long long ago in a galaxy far away, was me. I never really liked PC games much, I barely knew they existed, I was very new to the internet so, yeaaaaa. My story begins when I was at the age of 6 where my older brother introduced me to Adventure Quest (not worlds, the original one). I really liked AQ, and I started playing Mechquest soon after, which I still play today.
About a year or two after AE games spree, I wanted to play a different game (I liked playing like 3 online games at a time for reasons unknown). So I searched and searched, but I didn't find anything that was interesting. I did, however, played A LOT of Cartoon Network and Disney Channel games back then, Codename: Kids Next Door character creator, Lilo and Stitch Alien creator, then some Teen Titans Battle Blitz (I was a wiz with Jinx
), I didn't play much mall brawl, sorry Jordan.
After that age of my life, God decided to open the heavens and from it, Fusionfall. My brother, again, was the one who got me into Fusionfall; I didn't want to give it a shot, but yeaa you see where I am now. I made tons of characters (Fact: Ace Cometshark is like my third character) I forgot my old passwords, so Ace was born out of complete default. This also was the time of my life where I used fake emails, soooooooooo I never got old characters back.
During the brilliant age of Fusionfall, my brother got me into Wizard101, which I enjoyed highly. I played the Ben10 and Batman: Brave and the Bold game creators. My games were on the "top games" list for a flipping week. Then I got into Project Exonaut, I played that so much I became max level...in 2 days.
And the rest is history, FF went free, and I maxed Ace out, I started paying for wizard101 and I'm maxed out there to, Pirate 101 came out and I maxed out there to, I paid for Mechquest last year, and, you guessed it, I maxed out there to. I played some other games which were short lived, but all the games I mentioned here I still play, you know besides FF.
What does your Legacy say about you? Guys, I think it's time for a return.

I used to play a lot of flash games when I was little, and club penguin here and there with my friends. Always browsed youtube since I got my macbook for my 11th birthday (still using it right now) and went to the nick, disney, and cn sites sometimes. One night I (I think in 8th grade) was bored and had my tv on and saw a commercial for fusionfall, so I joined and loved it. I ended up being on there almost daily despite having a free account and then joined the xat sites with others I played with. Now I just play online stuff sometimes on my ps4 and wiiu. Also, I completely forgot all my past usernames...
