...I posted that drawing to my Facebook and showed it to some of my online friends, both digital and coloured pencil form. No one told me that I got the thumb on the wrong side and I didn't even notice until you told me. That's like the 2nd time that's ever happened.
The first time, I noticed. A year... after the drawing...
I also did Fiora a couple of months back:
It's not the best, I admit. But I still like it.
I was originally going to draw Lao in the same style... but I thought I would just make part of this scene in comic form (To avoid major spoils, that moment until about 47:40). One of Lao's best moments, in my opinion.
EDIT: Also the Livian thing... I didn't even know what or who that was until I Googled it.
I was planning on having her serve a similar role to Alvis in (you guessed it
) Xenoblade Chronicles.
When Alvis first appears, he's just some mysterious guy who approaches Shulk about the Monado, seems to be the only other guy other than Shulk to be able to wield the Monado without any problems and unlocks a new Art for him. Later, it turns out that, like Shulk, he can see into the future. Even later, he tells Shulk a little about the history of the Monado and a little more about how it works and leaves the party once the next area is entered (though he was only playable during his first appearance).
- Actual spoilers for once:
OKAY! Spoiler over.
I know too much about that game.
Anyway, the role in which this Livian (which I will nickname for now.
) plays is that she is sent by an unknown entity (though if you look at a couple of my previous drawings, not for her, but for another character, it might be obvious) to help aid Bianca and for now, is just a minor sidekick with a big role and knows more about the 0 than Bianca herself does.
I plan to get to that story once the 10th anniversary comic is finished (now that I'm up to page 9... that might be a while). So I have plenty of time to think about it.
