| New HardDrive: First thing's first, My old harddrive has been trying to CRITfail me for the past 2 months.
I noticed things werent ok when Microsoft Word dissappeared on me. I miss it so much right now. I was able to live with it..........until my computer started slowing down and it would take forever getting to the desktop; sitting on a black screen for forever.
Thats when I knew I had to get a new HDD. BEFORE I ENDED UP LOSING MY IMPORTANT PHOTOSHOP FILES!
so, I fought with my computer and my 3 other HDD's to make a back up, delete duplicate files and whatever else for a good 3 weeks.
Finally made the back up and then went and bought my new HDD. Got a 1Tb by Western Digital. Would only get a Solid State Drive if I had a second spot for a harddrive. For those not in the know: - Read for dummy's intro to complicated Computer junnkz.:
- Regular Hard Drive - In a nut shell...........when you start your computer, that disk thing starts to spin. that needle there has to THEN read ALL of the information on the disk like an old fashioned record.........but where the record is spinning at RIDICUOUS SPEEDS. This is to tell the Computer HOW to start up and what programs need to run at that time. This can take some time which is why the new thing is Solid State Drives. - Solid State Drives - As you can see in here, there ISNT a disk to read. This enables the computer to just litereally SNATCH the information IN SECONDS to start your computer up. And ALSO, BECAUSE it has no Disk and Reading Needle..............It also wont care as much as the regular one if you accidently drop it a few times. So! My new harddrive has Windows 7 once again.
just got installing the updates today so now its back in fighting form!
gonna try to get back to streaming tomorrow.........maybe.
New Equipment: Found out from a stream not too long ago, I need to kind of ditch my Turtle Beach X12's I got during Black Friday as my main Microphone.
My X12's
It was during a Wizard101 stream when one had ended, but I was talking with the streamer when he sent all of his watchers that were still with us to someone else's stream.
However, the guy had some really noticeable feedback going on in his stream. The first streamer guy, dasbroom, told us that it was, in fact, the plug on the X12's. I was shocked since that I use the same things.
He recommended just getting a desk top mic at Radio Shack.
Its good for me since I've BEEN WANTING TO GO BACK TO USING MY Sony MDR's when Streaming SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD......- DONT READ THIS. I HAD A LAPSE OF CONTROL:
OMGSH! LOOK AT MY BEAUTIFUL BABIES U GUISE
THEY'RE JUST SO PRETTY.
IN SEARCHING FOR THIS PIC I SAW SOME ON A JAPANESE WEBSITE THAT CAME IN BLACK & BLUE, RED & BLACK, GOLD, AND GOLD & BLACK.
I......I LOST IT.
I BROKE DOWN AND PETTED THE SCREEN FOR A GOOD MINUTE. AFTER REALIZING WHAT I JUST DID, I GIGGLED TO MYSELF FOR ANOTHER 4 MINUTES. THEY'RE JUST SO PRETTTY OMG I CANT HELP MYSELF I MUST HAVE THEM ALL. I NEED THEM IN MY LIFE.
Yes. I AM an Audiophile. So! I'll be doing that soon with my next check.
Wont spend more than $30 on it though.
Not unless I start getting donations or something.....Some Art:You guys just DONT KNOW HOW MUCH I HAVE ACTUALLY MADE. HOW HARD AND HOW MANY I HAVE MADE.
Drawing is the ONE THING that has been keeping me going. I might upload some stuff I've made. As far as anyone is gonna know........except for maybe Esam, it will just be a collection of random pictures. |

Anyway, why is it this stuff always happens to you and never me? The worst I had was a potato graphics card. Though my previous laptop also started having problems... it crashed if I accidentally dropped something on it, the headphone slot stopped working properly and once I upgraded to Windows 10, the Start Menu started coming up with a critical error message (which I couldn't get rid of without signing out, otherwise, I would just hide it... it also only came up on my main account too), Cortana and Edge disappeared and it was just becoming slow. This new laptop... the only problem so far is the disc drive. Hasn't got one. |
