PostSubject: VOTE JILL STEIN (Old thread about BERNIE SANDERS -- U.S. Presidential Election 2016   VOTE JILL STEIN (Old thread about BERNIE SANDERS -- U.S. Presidential Election 2016 EmptySat Feb 27, 2016 6:00 am

EDIT: This is an old thread about Bernie Sanders.
Unfortunately Bernie is out of the race (let's be honest, due to mass rigging like voter suppression,
shredded ballots, switched registrations, dead people voting....etc.)

But the reasons for Bernie Sanders are virtually the same as the reasons
to vote for Jill Stein, the last remaining candidature who is NOT corrupt.
So I would vote for Jill Stein.
Trump/Clinton/Gary Johnson are all corrupt.
There's not much difference between Trump/Clinton
so what do we have to lose?
Johnson supports the TERRIBLE trade agreement TPP (it's horrible for worker's rights)
and only benefits big corporations at everyone else's expense.

You already know why Trump/Clinton are corrupt and rubbish
candidates, in fact the most hated candidates in U.S. history.
So I strongly believe the media are tricking people into
the idea "you HAVE to vote Trump or Clinton, anyone else is a waste of a vote"
but the polling numbers seem to be very dodgy.
No way could Jill's polling % be that low.

Anyway, here's the old thread:

Again and again inspired by this guy, I decided to finally just make this thread.
(Also inspired by his supporters who seem way more reasonable than those of the opposition which speaks volumes.

He's going against the corporations who
are making the lives of ordinary hard working people difficult.

VOTE JILL STEIN (Old thread about BERNIE SANDERS -- U.S. Presidential Election 2016 Sander11

Bernie is your guy.
If you want certain reasons or question on why I support Bernie Sanders,
let me know but I would have thought it was obvious considering
the other candidates are truly terrible and Bernie Sanders is pretty darn good
and puts people before greedy corporations.

We need a left wing system because a right wing one only benefits
the greedy part of the absolute richest.

The poor have to suffer just for being poor.

I cannot vote since I'm not a U.S. citezen but
if Bernie gets a BIG WIN, it will prove
to the world that even corruption in the U.S. can be reversed
and the working class and middle class have had enough
of financial slavery by the corporations with poor wages
while the corporations store money abroad, robbing the nation of its wealth.
It's greedy and selfish.

If Bernie wins, I believe it may change things for a long time, shifting
more countries towards progressive left wing policies.
(If you disagree with me and somehow think left wing is bad, I will explain
whatever misconceptions you have because I'm certain left wing is the fair side.)

Everyone who can vote and spread the message....please do so.

Please Vote Bernie Sanders.

I only made this thread now but I should have done
a long time ago.

Trust me on this, Bernie is the only logical and fair choice for the bottom
90% poorest. (All of us here on the forum.)

(Although even if I was super rich, I'd still be a Bernie supporter.)
Feel The Bern! Awesome

Some more interesting BERNIE videos (some may be slightly above PG, just slighly):

He's like the UK's Jeremy Corbyn (who I will vote for in the UK 2020 Prime Minister general election).

Some interesting CORBYN videos: warning, there might possibly be above PG language.

OH MY GOD.
GLORY.

Are you going to BELIEVE ME or FOX NEWS????

This video is PURE PROPAGANDA.

I am going to absolutely tear this video to shreds. Too Funny

Firstly, getting random Bernie supporters from the street (although for all we know they could
just be paid to say some things)
does NOT represent all Bernie voters.

And even then, it only suggests that the small portion (minuscule percentage compared to his millions of supporters)
may not know the political jargon but understand that he's FAR BETTER than the alternative.

Darn it Glory, it's 4am here but I'm sickened! (I don't hate you though....propaganda can trick intelligent people too.)

Lol someone was like "I lean towards socialism more than democracy....."
But you can easily have both! Sigh

"Socialism wasn't very good for Greece though was it?"
AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
You know Fox News are scum when they pull that one.
I've seen this garbage on YouTube comments!

Greece does not even rank that high in terms of socialism in Europe (Scandinavian
countries rank way higher AND they are doing economically fine with free health care, free uni education, etc.)
AND socialism is NOT the reason Greece went into debt.
For more information, just do some research:

http://www.counterpunch.org/2015/06/19/is-greece-a-case-of-failed-socialism/

A quote from the above link:

"
So, is Greece a case of failed socialism, as the right wing consensus believes? Not even close.

First things first, Greece is not a socialistic country — though it did recently elect the left-wing Syriza party to office, which explains the current standoff between Greece and the neoliberal Troika. The reality is, compared to other European countries, its social expenditure-to-GDP level does not even make in the top ten list. France, Finland, and Belgium spend the highest social expenditure-to-GDP levels, according to the OECD, while even Germany, which has been the foremost advocate of austerity, had a higher social expenditure-to-GDP level than Greece in 2014, as well as in 2009. Furthermore, many of these high social expenditure countries, such as Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, have significantly lower debt-to-GDP rates than the United States.
"

Bill O' Reilly is a LIAR. And so is the rest of Fox News.
This article also addresses Bill's claims.

Also, a correlation is often used by right wing propagandists (people paid or those benefited in some way
in spreading right wing views to advance their agendas, most likely in corporations and such)
but the truth is,
many correlations are not causations.

For example, I had an argument with someone who claimed that one of the Scandinavian
countries had one of the highest proportional numbers of people taking anti depressant medicine/drugs
and claimed that "socialism leads to depression"
and I argued back that depression is far more likely to occur (e.g. S.A.D. syndrome)
in darker countries (as in, less sunlight).
I'm not sure if it's because of the lack of vitamin D production or whatever
but it's very significant.

Another point I researched was that medicines were more readily available / almost disposable
to the Scandinavian people as medicinal drugs were cheaper due to less corruption
and more left wing laws against unfair trading (or adding regulations to a free market to prevent
greed dominating markets while at the same time not interfering too much with business
so everyone wins except the con artists).
There were more reasons based on statistics I saw but I can't remember
them off the top of my head.

I'm a Bernie supporter but even I do not have a degree in democratic socialism or politics
but I do know roughly what it's about and even if I didn't
Bernie's policies make it crystal clear that I want his system
rather than this corrupt establishment system that rewards the corporations for
ripping the people off.

Glory listen, the corporations, wall street, banks and media are in on this establishment system
whereby economic slavery is possible.
(First it was owning slaves....now it's economically owning slaves....look at the working class!
They work very hard but get treated like dirt and get paid peanuts for their manual labour jobs).

The corporations, etc. have been STEALING the wealth of the country
(the UK, the U.S., etc.)
by dodging billions and billions in tax
as well as paying employees shamefully low wages for
hard work, long hours, etc.
Also, excess military spending (and now the UK's rubbish current right wing government the Tories/Conservatives
want to spend £500 million / almost 700 million dollars ON A NUKE.....goodness sake... Sigh while we're in austerity.)

Excess military spending (trillions)...... over free university education and free health care??
I don't think so! (I know which I'd rather have... Troll Face )
This is fascist America, Glory.
And Britain is not too far behind with this current rubbish government who want to decrease
the number of people in the middle class and make nearly everyone a working class person
while the rich can order cheap labour from desperate working class people.

This is the right wing system. And it needs to stop being so extreme and unfair.

"So you like Bernie but don't know what his plans are"
I can say the same for republican voters!! lol!
All they know of Trump is "build a wall to keep Mexicans out! At the expense of Mexico!" scratch
Stupid policies, seriously.
And he just uses his slogan and weird personality to drive his campaign rather
than having good policies.
"Make America Great Again" could have been used by anyone.
It's meaningless. And he blaims immigrants way too much when the
establishment are causing the major problems in the U.S. and other countries worldwide.

Anyway....

"Obama already raised taxes on the wealthy and now the middle class are shrinking"
NO. Blatant lie, Mr Fox News presenter.
How is that logical?
The very wealthy (upper class tycoons?) taxed more = middle class
increase slightly.

So I don't buy that for a second.
I've also seen a Fox News video where a presenter
was lying and trying to outsmart a STUDENT on
the topic "how can we pay for free uni/health care"
and the blatant lie was "if you tax the top 10% even at 100% tax,
it won't cover a year of health/uni fees"

LOL! These guys are covering up the fact that the upper class CAN EASILY
pay for many things including those. Look in other countries with free health care and free university.
If it's possible for them, it's possible for the U.S.

The only reason these things are not implemented is because of greed.
This isn't a random conspiracy theory....it's not even a theory.
It's fact.
Why else is the U.S. one of the most richest countries on Earth yet has SO MUCH POVERTY??
Corruption and greed.
American can pay for it no problem.
Get get rid of excessive military funding, tax the upper class more (at a reasonable percentage)
as well as remove the legal loop holes that allow corporations to DODGE TAX.

Glory, they're literally stealing from us. Seriously
Collectively, it's our nations' money.
But they store the tax money abroad to rot in their bank accounts. LIES

Back to the video:

"Planned parenthood = harvesting organs"

I....I don't even.....what is this????
Give Fox News a dictionary. Troll Face  (Look how manipulative they are.)

"The dollar came from capitalism.....see how that trickled down to you".

Lol it's been proven that trickle down economics DOES NOT WORK
and is just a SCAM.
Wealth ACTUALLY comes from the bottom 90% poorest via their labour/work
and it goes to the top 10%.

Check this out on trickle down economics:

"We're bankrupt......Bernie Sanders wants to spend more money..."

As I said, money is being spent BADLY:
Much of the money is going to banks, corporations' tax havens,
excess military spending, the war in the middle east, luxuries for the very rich, etc.

"Is that how you get out of credit card debt"

Ironically the corrupt system works like this in terms of banks (relating to credit cards)

"Is Bernie trying to fight a war AGAINST women? Then why is he trying to
keep Hillary out of the white house?"

Holy! This is one of the easiest to smash.
So according to this lying presenter's logic,
if we don't vote for Hillary, then we're genderist?? Troll Face
Yeah I don't think so. Sinister
Also, by their logic, all the other candidates are "guilty" of the same. Troll Face
And besides, gender is not relevant to a presidential candidate.
Whoever can make the country better for the majority of people,
that's who would get my vote.
I don't shallowly vote based on age, gender, race, religious views, tradition, etc.

Psychological manipulation doesn't work on me, Fox News.
Hillary or her website (can't remember which)
said that "there's a special place in hell for women who don't vote Hillary"...... Seriously Seriously Seriously
More psychological manipulation and bullying... Sigh
Also, her husband Bill Clinton was spotted in a polling station!
He bought someone a coffee, kissed a baby and talked to voters....
That's against the rules and is pathetically manipulative!
You can't trust these people. LIES

The establishment (including the media that are funded by it, by the corporations)
are using Hillary as a "last resort" in keeping
power over the nation....this power in the hands of the establishment once again
if they have to sacrifice not getting a republican in to make things even worse...
They would settle with Hillary (almost the same as a republican.....in fact she used to be one Seriously Seriously Seriously )
because she is very much part of the establishment with corporate links
(including the oil industry).

She's basically a republican (I'm guessing slightly not as bad? Not 100% sure though.)
because she used to be one,
she was PRO IRAQ WAR (while Bernie was against it)
as well as having dodgy
corporate links suggesting she definitely has
conflicts of interest.

She and the republicans are there for the corporations, wall street and banks.
No one else.
They make the middle class believe that they're on their side.
But in the UK, I'm telling you (and both systems are comparable)
the tories/conservatives first seemed high tier middle class friendly (less tax on them initially)
but then started recently attacking them with the threat of reducing
benefits to them. Typical backstabbing Tories.  Yeah Right

Also, the Iraq war and others in the middle east
are heavily motivated for the extraction of oil
and hmmm........oil industry?....ding ding? Troll Face (It's difficult to prove this stuff
without using alternative media sources because the majority if media is corrupt and won't report it
but it's surprising that it's common knowledge that the war on Iraq involved oil.)

Besides, Tony Blair and George W Bush started the whole
"war on terrorism" in Iraq under the reason of "possible biological weapons"
and....NONE WERE FOUND. Conspiracy? Of course.  Lolwut

(I suspect something dodgy happened with the whole 9/11 thing too but I can't confirm but
I'm sure some people have theories with evidence to back them up I guess).

Glory, please don't fall for this rubbish. Seriously
We had a lengthy topic a while ago
that involved this kinda stuff (didn't we agree Fox News was one of the most
deceptive news outlets in the U.S.???)

I also find CNN is corrupt with their bias towards Hillary
who in my view is a republican in disguise.
She's the backup of the establishment.

And besides, whether I benefit from a right wing government (I can technically
see that I would NOT benefit being a middle class or working class person in this
system and neither would you unless they pander to you in the form of more friendly taxes....at the expense
of doing everything else wrong)
but I would still vote for the greater good.
Whatever reduces poverty and increases progress....I'm on board.

Bernie is the only good candidate, Glory.

People have waited for someone like him in politics for DECADES.
Don't let this man slip. I would go Bernie or bust to be honest.
I would be sick of such a system. (Apparently the U.S. system is worse than the UK....so I'm guessing
poverty is higher in the U.S. too)/
Bernie seems INcorruptible and refuses bribe money
from wall street, banks and the corporations.

Everyone benefits more with a democratic socialism system rather
than a fascist system where the poor are kept poor while
corporations get richer and put blame on the poor saying
"you people are poor because you're lazy".

Millions of people are lazy.....seems legit. Bored

And with a fairer system with more equal opportunity with free health care and free university,
more educated (and less depressed, oppressed and manipulated) people = more doctors, scientists, teachers,
engineers, etc.

These people are not on your side, Glory.
And even if they were (they definitely are not on anyone's side except those of the establishment)
wouldn't you still vote with your heart?
If I was super rich (upper class)
I would still pay full tax to ensure my money helps those
who have much less money and are struggling.

Any more questions, I'd be glad to answer.
I've had a million arguments with liars over these things
so I've got probably enough information to unravel any misconceptions
and propaganda. Razz

@Oliver, I agree but it's been like that for decades...
The "lesser evil" has been the one we have to pick because
corruption runs so deep in society.

I've read that Roosevelt was the best president the U.S. ever had
and that he was fairly left wing compared to most of the others,
he attacked the monopolistic banks and I'm pretty sure
the Michael Jackson song "Black Or White"
had Roosevelt in the lyrics.
(And Bernie said he was a good president....so I guess considering all this...he's my favourite U.S. president!
And hopefully Bernie will fall into this list if he wins. Very Happy )

Obama wasn't that bad (he was a lesser evil too)
but at least he's not as bad as the republicans/hillary. :/

But Oliver....things might be changing for the better. cheers
Somehow....we're getting a couple of less corrupt people emerging. Shocked

Jeremy Corbyn is brilliant in the UK and Bernie Sanders brilliant in the U.S.
These guys can really fix things for the majority, rather than the
wealthy few. Smile

Okay, so i just had time for a brief scan of what you wrote,

I just want to re-emphasize

That I don't think people voting are that stupid....
I've heard some good arguments for bernie... and I've also heard bad arguments for him

getting people off the street: we all know how that works out... some of those people are just suprisingly dumb
The presenter: obviously tries to trap people and stuff

I just think it's a funny video hahaha Very Happy

but yeah, I'll come back and share my thoughts on everything else later Smile

lol!

BTW Glory, just clarifying that my outrage wasn't directed
at you personally, just that....I was tired, it was 4am and
I was like....THIS VIDEO EXISTS??
And people believe it? Frown
It's really unfair to Bernie and just the fact
that it's trying to sway voters to vote for the alternatives
which are so bad it's not funny. (Except Trump....he's bad AND slightly funny. Eddy Walk Troll Face )
But obviously I don't want a dangerous clown in office.

And I just recently noticed the media
(including here in the UK!)
are brainwashing the public with headlines like
"it's now a race between Hillary and Trump"
and
"Bernie's finished"
and
"Bernie's out of the race"
and lies like that.

Even if they don't lie directly, (they usually do though... LIES )
they're still at least misleading.
They're acting like Bernie has already lost but that isn't the case at all.

I believe this was the media's plan all along.
They waited for Hillary to win lots of southern states in the primaries
and then blast headlines that Bernie "lost" when actually
we already knew Hillary would likely win those votes.

Some of the southern states were Hillary's LIFE LINE.
Now she's run out of safe/more likely to vote for her states.
So Bernie can easily win with the northern states which
he's much more popular in.

Do you see?
How the media play with your minds?
They're trying to trick people (especially Bernie supporters)
into thinking "well....oh well, better vote for hillary or not vote at all...."
It's a PSYCHOLOGICAL TRICK.

I really hope people don't fall for it.
The U.S. and the entire world NEEDS people like Bernie Sanders
and Jeremy Corbyn. The kind of politicians that are honest
and principled, against the banks, corporations and wall street,
and aware of the corrupt media and
instead, fighting for the people.
The hard working, working/middle class people. (Nearly all of us.)
(Pretty sure none of us here are millionaire upper class people. Troll Face
But as I said before, no matter how much money I have, I would
vote based on what's best for the entire country, rather than my own
personal gain....and besides, a progressive society leads to greater wealth for everyone
in the LONG RUN.)

But the corrupt people at the top, don't want great wealth for everyone.
They want lots and lots of poor people to control.
To force into working hard like slaves for little pay.

And then the establishment be all like "if you work hard peasant,
and take risks, you can be a millionaire too!"

(Lol it's also propaganda to make poor people risk bankruptcy with
"business risks" so the corporations don't have to take any risks
and instead, wait for a poor person to get rich and then buy his business....
Anyone thought of that? Seriously That's cunning but nasty.)

But as well as propaganda, it's also nonsense. Becoming a millionaire often (not always but very often)
involves some form of deception, manipulation, unethical business tactics,
exploitation of other people, etc.

And if you're not born in favourable conditions (e.g. a loving and supporting family + lots of money)
then your chances of success are massively lower.

(And not everyone wants to be a darn business man!
Some of us want to be scientists!....Cough cough Whistling Whistling Whistling )

Anyway, Obama was in a similar position in 2008 against Hillary
and Obama STILL WON.

So don't believe the media when they say it's "Hillary vs Trump now"
rubbish.

Bernie is very much still in the race and he will get more
votes as more people find out about him and his fairer policies
and honesty, etc. and as northern states start to vote Bernie in.

Bernie doesn't accept donations from billionaires and such
so isn't being bribed, not is he bribing the media either.
Clearly this is why he gets such little
media coverage. (And also because he's anti establishment while the
others are very much part of the establishment.)

I'm really disgusted by most of the media's bandwagon
behaviour of propaganda against Bernie.

But they don't even have any dirt on him as his record is spotless
and he's been campaigning for a fairer system for over a decade.
He doesn't seem to lie and doesn't even need to.
While the others lie and spread misleading information recklessly.
(Search YouTube for Hillary lies and research her ever changing policies and opinions
without justifying her change of heart with an honest reason....just "trends are changing"
and rubbish excuses like that....clearly just looking for votes rather than
actually believing what she says.)

And Trump's stupid speeches where he uses charisma, repetitions
and hate to make people like him rather than giving any decent
information on his policies.....just nonsense about how immigration
is ruining the U.S.....when it's the corporations that are actually ruining the U.S.

The other republicans....I haven't even bothered to watch them as
I know republican automatically = corrupt, right wing and unethical.

This is how I decided that Bernie was easily the best candidate
(and ONLY GOOD one).
It was pretty easy but systematically I just
narrowed it down to democratics, already seeing as the republicans
don't want to help the poor but fill their corporate pockets instead.

Then I researched about Bernie and Hillary and saw through the lies
and conflicts of interest with Hillary.
I saw the honesty and fair policies, spotless record, etc. with Bernie.

But I easily could have made that decision just by watching videos
of each candidate talk.
But this is only because I'm very critical with what I see on TV
and know corruption isn't just a "conspiracy THEORY"
it's the truth that's obvious if you look for it
but almost impossible to see if you think only
what the media tell you to think.

The average person might not be able to tell based on videos
and just be like "well Trump said he'll make America great again! So it must be true!"
and other shallow techniques will go over their head
while they listen to liars' claims that
Bernie is a "communist" or "socialist" or that either of these are bad,
or some other lies against Bernie.

Not one person on YouTube spreading this garbage has been logical
with their arguments and have been destroyed by counter arguments
from those who know the truth and realise they're reading
the lies of a troll/ or paid shill. (As if Trump couldn't afford to do something like that.... Rolling Eyes )

Liars say stuff like "communism is bad"
when it actually isn't even present in Russia and other so called "communist"
countries.
Not in the pure honest form anyway.
It's been heavily modified and even worse,
the corrupt dictatorships is what's wrong with Russia, China, North Korea, etc.
NOT COMMUNISM.

(I believe communism isn't "bad" but it's not the absolute best either.)

Socialism is better than communism.
But DEMOCRATIC socialism is better than full on socialism. (I think.)

Bernie is a democratic socialist and I think Jeremy Corbyn is one too.

Democratic socialism is what gave us free health care.
The NHS is world famous as one of the first universal health care
social services ever and it formed in Britain under the Labour government
(usually left wing).

Without the NHS, people in Britain would struggle like those in the
U.S. who may become bankrupt from getting an injury or disease/illness
or those who are forced to ask Yahoo Answers a medical question
rather than seeing a doctor which in the U.S. would cost.

Health isn't a luxury. University education (for a job)
is not a luxury.

It makes me mead when I read idiots and liars
say "socialism is theft" and "I don't want to pay for someone else's stupid art degree".

First of all, socialism isn't theft.
The fascist American system right now is THEFT.
Corporations stealing wealth from the poor.....and they have the
nerve to say poor people are stealing from the rich???
The same poor people who made it possible to make the rich, rich??
The same poor people who can't live on such poor pay by the rich
while the richest can use money are toilet paper if they wanted???

The police force and military are ironically social services
but look how the military is being use for CORPORATE interest
rather than "to protect the citizens".

No one asked the U.S., UK and other allies to invade Iraq.
It was a political move.

....I'm ranting sorry.
I always have something else to say and don't know when to stop.
I'll just wait for any questions rather than dumping essays of
political controversy. ED Head Bang

Anyway if you're wondering what a British person
like myself is campaigning for Bernie,
it's because:

A) I don't know what the horrors Hillary and Trump would
bring to the table if they were elected
but I do know it's not gonna be good.
And it most likely will affect other countries.
I don't want the UK to join Uncle Sam U.S.
to go into yet another way to steal oil or whatever they're planning.
The U.S. is basically an extension of the UK. (I'm being overly simplistic
as many other European countries were also part of the U.S.' inception
but you know what I mean....)
Much of the corruption in the U.S. is from people
of British ancestry. (Not smearing my own country....but I'm just saying
that some of the corrupt in the UK have moved to the U.S.
to continue the corruption...and this isn't recent,
this was from many decades ago.)

And yeah, I feel World War 1 and 2 are really dodgy
and most likely brought Europe to its knees
while simultaneously making the U.S. rich from arms money, some soldiers, food, etc.
I can't help but think those wars were politically motivated.

B) I care about everyone (who's a good person...and sometimes even bad people....if they can redeem themselves)
no matter the country and the U.S. is suffering
poverty big time.

C) If Bernie Sanders wins, not only does
he makes things more bearable for the working and middle class
and reduce corruption,
this will in turn most likely trigger new politicians
trending with his values since the people
have spoken they want someone like Bernie
rather than corporate liars running the country.

It may also indirectly reduce corruption in other countries
such as those in Africa.
Africa for example is RICH IN RESOURCES
and it's a heck of a lot of land.
Yet poverty is massive there and technological development
is generally quite poor compared to most other countries.

WHY? Because corruption. (Most common word I've said this week! But no other word fits better.  :s:

I spoke to an African man on YouTube who
spoke of corruption in Africa and provided information
from other sources as well.
What the corporations are doing in these sorts of places
is worse than in the U.S. but still,
they're messing with all of us.

We can't let this injustice continue.

And Glory, I honestly cannot see a single thing
bad about Bernie.

The only thing to worry about is
how he can override congress which is largely corrupt as heck.
But he wouldn't run as PRESIDENT if he didn't think
of that first.

I believe he really can fix things.
Even if he couldn't, even if he was blocked by congress
(I'm sure Bernie will know of a way to override congress or
reform things or fire some congress members)
even then, he'd still be better than
the other candidates who are trying to make things
worse for us all while making life even more
comfortable for the ultra rich tycoons and big companies.

You know why cancer is a big business?
GREED.
Expensive drugs, dishonest cancer research "charities" which
take a huge chunk of money to give it to the CEO, etc.
and stupid "let's beat cancer" marathons and
"bake-offs"....(ironically....sugar can cause cancer....LOGIC? Does not compute in lying companies.)

Alright I need to stop talking.

I really should have just waited for questions
instead of trying
to predict them and answer them immediately.

Oh well.

And I agree that voters are really stupid
but there are some that are stupid.

But I think it's important to realise that
technically some of that stupidity in voting for Hillary/Republicans
(voting for candidates that are against your interests and positive progress in society)
is largely down to IGNORANCE.

When you're showered in dishonest media,
you're bound to think what you're told in your enclosed bubble.

But luckily Bernie is quite popular with young people
as they are generally more internet / technically savvy
and so read information on the net that the news would not
report. Like....I dunno....THE TRUTH. Troll Face

It's not their fault, those who believe the lies.
But those who have the truth in front of them
and don't want to believe it over the media's lies....
That's either stupidity or some insane brainwashing. Morgan Freeman

I've read that a lot of people in the U.S.
haven't even heard of Bernie Sanders! Seriously
Guess it's not that much of a surprise when the media
try not to talk about him, except when they
want to lie about him to discourage people voting for him. Jelous

In the UK, even the Guardian (which I considered one of the lesser corrupt newspapers)
had an opinions article that Bernie lost the race.
And the Guardian are left leaning!!

So it's clear they're also part of the establishment.
Good I don't buy their newspapers.....
I've now seen the corrupt side.
(I should have expected it....because even the state funded BBC sometimes has
dodgy reporting...like they're being bribed.)

Moral of the story....be careful who you trust as your news source.
I guess it's better to read from multiple sources to
see who's lying and who isn't. Think
I know it was an "opinion article"
but that's still propaganda
and a left leaning paper should have
celebrated someone like Bernie....but clearly
they have conflicts of interest.
Either the Guardian isn't really left wing and is part of the establishment
or is only partially left wing.

Either way....I'm revoking my trust in the newspapers, end of.
I don't care if the paper was blackmailed....I'm not going
to trust a paper that claims to be something it isn't
and attacks a brilliant politician and instead tries
to help the much worse opposition.

Propaganda....it's not only in movies.
It's on TV every single day on the news, TV shows, radio, newspapers, etc.

The establishment = the corporations, most media, banks and wall street. Rage

EDIT: forgot to mention the lie about
"Bernie wanting to tax the rich 90%".

Firstly he never said he would tax them at 90%....ridiculous lie.
Secondly, he will tax the ultra rich more....not at 90% but
still higher than what little they're paying right now.

And I'll say again....THE ULTRA RICH.
Normal people won't be negatively affected.
They'll benefit from it because of the funding of social
services like free uni and free health care.
Cutting excess military funding and stopping tax dodging
would also bring the money in to fund these programs.

And anyway....if you heavily tax a multi millionaire,
he'll still easily have a comfortable life.
But Bernie isn't even taxing them 90%....such a stupid
lie.
A figure that's not too unbelievable like 100%
but high enough to cause outrage in those who believe them.

Even if it was 90% (which it definitely isn't, as Bernie will tell you on his website)
it wouldn't affect us normal people anyway
and they'd still have a lot more money than us individually.
So....I'm going to feel bad for multi millionaires and billionaires
because of some manipulative idiot's "90% tax" propaganda?

Nah. How about we focus on those who we really
should feel sorry for....
Those that are in poverty and those that are homeless. Neutral

I was outraged at the stupidity and dishonest nature of the video. No Idea
I was also confused because I thought Glory remembered that Fox News
is one of the most deceiving and unreliable major
media outlets in the U.S.
I'm sure we talked about this in another thread? scratch

Maybe she didn't notice the Fox News logo? Troll Face
I'm not sure which media channel is the least
corrupt but I'm not making an allegiances
as I've found out the Guardian for example
isn't as benign and truthful as I had once thought.

Sadly they seem to both be part of the establishment.
If they can be bought....they're probably already puppets of
the establishment/corporations.

This leads me to believe that you really can't trust
anyone without going into
a deep analysis of their behaviour.

E.g. The Sun newspaper is Tory garbage
that spreads propaganda and manipulates people
into having fascist views and voting accordingly.
Some people may think "but hang on....didn't they tell readers to vote Labour,
a left wing party some years ago??"

But the thing is....back then, the Labour party wasn't all that left wing
as it was a NEO-liberal ("new" liberal = shifted towards having right centre policies as well)
party at that time with Tony Blair....who along with
George W Bush....started the Iraq war.
Tony Blair also raised tuition fees (although still not to ungodly amounts
like the Tories have now done....New Labour increased it from free to about £1000-3,000 a year
which isn't TOO bad, but the tories tripled it to £9,000 a year!! Ouch! Rage )

So things aren't always as they seem.
I'm going to hand out my trust more sparingly from now on
when it comes to the media. Shrug

Seriously
Bernie do you want me to send this fan mail

Lol I'm just joking around but I do hope he becomes president
and Jeremy Corbyn becomes prime minister.
I've got no personal agendas behind why I want
these two in power.
I mean, yeah university would be cheaper...but
the damage has already been done.
I'll probably be in debt for some time. Rage
(Thanks to the selfish Tories who want the poor bottom 90% to pay
for the gambling of the top 10% richest, mostly the bankers and wall street.)

Austerity is a choice. I didn't know this when I was younger.....wonder why.... LIES
But things would be much better with socialism or democratic socialism.
(I'm still not sure if Jeremy Corbyn is a socialist or democratic socialist
but I like the policies
of both these guys in general and most of their opposition are terrible.
They also seem to have morals that in other politicians are either absent,
undeclared or dishonest.)

The only other decent party in the UK I think
is the green party which is left wing
but I don't know how experienced they are as I don't even know
if they've ever been elected but Labour (not the new labour / neo liberal abomination
but classic/normal Labour that Corbyn will bring back)
will be much better this time round than last
time with right centre leaning members ruining everything with war
and other agendas. Sigh

There's corruption in many parties but you just know
which ones have more of it lol. Whistling Troll Face
Jeremy has to get rid of the corrupt politicians in his party
or encourage them to change their ways. Yeah right. Seriously
People that are right centre should not be in a party that's supposed
to be left centre.....that's totally not cool that some corrupt people
pretend to be good but behind close doors play for the enemy. (The establishment. LIES )

Hey X, honest question here... What do you think about Hilary winning the election? Now I know what you're thinking: Hilary Clinton is untrustworthy. But I still have yet to receive the opinion of someone who is a bit more experienced in the world of politics rather than high school friends or teachers. Sure, my dad and other people have discussed this and have agreed that it's not very one sided as people think, but from their own standpoint they think that Hilary is better. I'm not so sure about that. I'm sure everyone has their own opinion about this whole situation but I think it's better if we jump off the "Trump and Hilary" hate bandwagon and just think for a moment. Why are they such bad candidates in the first place? I know for a fact that trump is sort of a loudmouth, but he speaks his mind (which isn't always necessarily good, but still) and isn't afraid to lay down facts as they are, as cruel as they can be. But I think we can agree that he goes waaaay overboard with the stuff that comes out of his mouth most of the time, he's insulted countless people just by their race and gender. Not to mention that his ideas aren't exactly the greatest, I mean honestly exporting literally millions of people is just stupid. Not to mention nearly impossible.
That being said, Hilary has her ups and downs as well. As a person with lots of liberal friends I am used to seeing all sorts of negative stories about Hillary Clinton in my social media universe with regularity. The question that irks me is why? I can clump the negativity toward Hillary into three main arguments.
1. She is untrustworthy (liar, disingenuous, doesn’t mean what she says, etc...)
2. She isn’t really liberal
3. She is “bought” by Wall Street (or owes them some sort of favors)
Truthfully, I can't find any solid information about that other than myths that commonly fly across the internet from time to time. Besides those rather unreliable sources of information, I can't seem to find anything that correlates with what I've been hearing. It's a bit confusing to say the least, and makes me unsure of who to vote for in the end. So, I ask you X, what is it that people hate her for? Is it what she represents? Or is it just because she has no qualifications for being president? I'm actually genuinely interested in all this, not just because I'm finally old enough to vote, but because I want to know what other people feel about this situation.

@Prince, I'm surprised you know at least a few people
who think Hillary And Trump are untrustworthy.
I guess not everyone is that brainwashed.
I have hope and some confidence that Bernie can really win this thing
especially if people stop listening to the corrupt media.

Ok I'll try to answer your questions concisely. [EDIT: Totally failed in the concise department....]

This video might save you from having to read all this but
you can do both if you like: (it doesn't explain as much as I have but the message
is there.....Bernie is way more progressive than Hillary, and the world needs progress)

Well in terms of Trump, he only seems to be interested in immigration
related issues as his website and campaign seem to indicate.
He lies by saying he completely funds his campaign
when it's not true.
He accepts "super PACs", has only spent a small percentage
of his own money on what he claims he spent on the campaign.
(The rest is from super PACs and possibly bribery....which he wouldn't admit.)

I don't know this stuff in detail but some research might be of some help
but make sure you're critical of what you read.
So many websites and media are biased and talk in misleading ways
to make you think in a certain way and often involves
bending the truth, skipping important information,
using suggestible language and of course, complete lies.

Trump just uses his charisma to entertain people,
making them think he's a good guy because funny
people are often regarded as valuable and benign.
But he's not so benign.

I'm not the best person to ask what's wrong with Trump
in detail as I don't immerse myself in researching
Republicans for long as I know I'd never
support the a Republican....from a right wing
party with very illogical views on what's "fair".
They often bring religion into secular society too which
I think is wrong.
Some people believe religions but they
shouldn't impose their unproven beliefs on other people.
(I personally believe God may exist but I'm not
religious as I don't believe any religion has been true
to a significant enough extent....maybe some truths here and there
but largely they appear false to me and just seem like a human construct.)

For example abortion....
I'm not that strongly on either side of the fence
on this as I haven't explored this policy area much
but imagine a young woman who isn't ready to give birth and is frightened
about it? Some frightened women would still go ahead
with the birth because they feel the baby must survive.
But some may not be able to do the same thing
and being forced to do it, seems unethical.

I know abortion is unethical to the baby but....
that's what I mean when I say I'm not on either side of the fence
too strongly. It's a grey area at the moment for me.
I suppose I could form a more complex and solid opinion
if I have enough facts but I haven't researched enough about it.

I don't agree with right wing parties because
the right wing ideology is there to give the corrupt part of
the rich a tool to do as they like with the poor.

In my opinion, the richest NOT helping the poorest (something that extreme/hard/far right wing concepts would
encourage) .....that's unethical.
It's discriminatory as the poor have to suffer for being born poor.
And the rich (not all but a LOT)
didn't get rich by having a lovely idea and selling
it for a reasonable amount to many people....
No no, a lot of the time, scams,
lies, exploitation and unethical business practices are involved.

And not everyone wants to be a business man!  Nooo
But someone who for example wants to become a teacher...
If they live in a deprived area with poor teaching,
that's already a massive disadvantage in trying
to achieve a decent amount of wealth.
It's a vicious circle of poor leads to staying poor.
There are exceptions but the disadvantages of being
poor hit hard for most people.

And besides, wealth should be distributed more fairly.
(Not 100% equally....as some work harder than others for example
and some have greater needs than others but still more fairly
than this garbage system in the UK and U.S. where
university is very expensive and difficult to get in
if you already have been educated with low teaching standards for example.)

What I see in Trump isn't really the result of research.
It's just what someone with common sense sees, like you,
I see his prejudiced nature and irrational decisions).

Building a wall to keep illegal immigrant Mexicans out....and then
claiming he will get Mexico to pay for it.... Seriously

He's just distracting everyone from the real issues.
He's ignoring corporate corruption leading to poverty and other injustices.
That, is one of the biggest problems the U.S. has ever faced.
And normal people (working class and middle class)
are paying for the corporations' greed.

And some immigrants actually help the economy.
In an ideal world, immigration wouldn't need to occur
but war and poverty leads to mass immigration which
brings both good and bad things but in either case,
it's not sustainable.
We can't keep pumping more people from location A to B
without things getting somewhat crowded.
And that's why the stupid wars need to stop, if not only
for the suffering of soldiers and civilians. :/

As for Hillary:

She's a "democrat" that used to be a republican.
I can't trust someone like that unless they've proven themselves
to actually be reflective of what the party should stand for.

She's was PRO Iraq war while Bernie Sanders was against it.
I'm usually against any kind of war but
this one parades around with an excuse of
"terrorists and biological weapons".
Biological weapons have never been found.
Some people believe the Iraq war was just a way for
the corporations (including the oil industry)
to extract oil in the middle east.

I think that's pretty close to the truth.
I don't see it as some intervention for good.
I see it as an illegal and unethical invasion that the U.S,
UK and other allies should never have signed up for.

Africa is also rich in resources (e.g. gold, oil, diamonds and other precious gemstones)
yet is not as developed as many other countries in the world
and rank very low in terms of living conditions.

Governmental and corporate corruption are the major reasons things like
this happen.
The big corporations, banks, wall street and corrupt people in the media,
corrupt politicians, etc. they are part of the establishment

Many things can't be easily proven (but sometimes it can be)
by researching for solid proof because the media are mostly corrupt, biased
and manipulative by being part of a system where they are bribed
to send out certain information while suppressing the truth
or things that they don't want the people to know.

There's probably proof somewhere but even little things
give the game away to people who can see through most
of the lies.
For example, the media recently (in the UK and U.S.)
came up with headlines such as "it's a race between Hillary and Trump"
and "Bernie's out" and other manipulative nonsense.

Bernie is still very much in the race.

The media used something to their advantage to get people
to feel hopeless about Bernie's chance and then be persuaded
to either vote Hillary or not bother voting at all. (Since many believe
that Hillary is not as bad as Trump.....I think this is the case too but they're both so awful).

They used the fact that Hillary won some southern states' votes in the
primary so far but failed to admit that Bernie has strong support
in the north states AND Obama was in a similar position in 2008
and still beat Hillary.
So you just can't trust the media.
And that's when you lose some faith in humanity.
(Luckily the media isn't humanity....humanity is much better than that.)

This is one reason I can't trust the media which is part of the establishment.
Not sure if all media is part of it and corrupt but I'm not holding
my breath for any to be truthful all the time....  Blah Sad

Anyway, Hillary also has corporate links (including the oil industry) so she
has a conflict of interest.
(Which makes me wonder if that's why she was PRO Iraq war....For oil resources for
her corporations.)

Another problem with Hillary is her dishonest nature.
Go to YouTube and type Hillary Clinton lying and see
the videos that show them or analyse them.

She often changes her mind on policies just to get
votes rather than truly admit she was wrong or
why she changed her mind.

For example, on a certain LGBT marriage issue (I won't go into detail on this PG rated forum)
she changed her policies/opinion on it
(from not wanting to allow it ....to allowing it)
without saying a real reason but instead
because "trends" are shifting.  Bored
This makes me think she just wanted to appear more
liberal to appeal to more people. (Since the democrats should be more liberal
and even socially democratic).

I think Hillary also had written on her website or something,
that "there's a special place in hell" for women
who don't vote for Hillary.
How can anyone trust a manipulative bully like that?
And she emphasises way too much about her being
a woman in the context of presidency.
I watched a video where she repeatedly and frequently
kept using the words "honestly" and "woman".

Seriously, I'm not a psychologist or expert analyst
but all the major candidates (except Bernie)
talk like either they're sociopaths trying
to manipulate you or they just memorised some
incoherent and cliche speeches to convince you that
you can trust them.

Trump's speeches always seem either offensive, ridiculous,
shallow, simple, involve hate or are just repetitive. (He seems to repeat sentences often
and makes forceful hand movements.)
Professional lying to people not bothered in politics
but personalities....it's just professional lying in my eyes, nothing more. Shrug

Just recently Bernie was suing the DNC (Democratic National Committee)
for something about removing data access from Bernie
or something like that which is against the contract agreement.
I didn't read too much into it but you can if you're interested.
I don't personally feel the need to as I know
it's possible the DNC are corrupt in some way
and reading any more will just result me rolling my eyes
for eternity. Troll Face
(Hence why I don't bother researching too much into Republicans
because I know they're corrupt automatically with their
right wing policies so I say to myself, why bother? Sigh
Even if some Republican was the least worst Republican in history,
surely a democrat could still do better and be more left leaning / left wing
and thus more progressive and fair to the normal people of society
instead of pandering to the ultra rich which many U.S. politicians
have done in the last few decades at least.)

Also, her husband Bill Clinton was recently
seen in polling stations, as far as I know,
he bought someone a coffee, kissed a baby and
spoke to voters.
I'm pretty sure this is against the rules.
(Campaigning while people are voting!!?? Not cool.)
It's also not fair as people may be
intimidated or star struck and change
their votes to his at the last second.
It's disgraceful.  Sigh

The media (part of the establishment) never seem
to talk much about Bernie and never seem to cheer him on
but instead talk about Hillary and Trump.
This is a clear sign that the media/establishment
(which is making things worse for normal people)
want us to vote for one of those two.

And the whole "Trump is anti establishment"
and the supposedly "surprising thing about even
republicans are going against Trump"
things don't surprise me at all and seem
very fake to me.

Trump is a part of the establishment just like the others
(except Bernie).
Trump also bribes the media (whether directly or indirectly, I don't know).

Bernie is the only major candidate that is actually anti-establishment.
The establishment for decades, has been trying to
keep the population on a leech.

Corporations are paying their employees very low wages
for hard work, poor conditions, long hours, etc.
Corporations are dodging billions and billions in tax
which rightfully belong to the nation
but they're getting to keep it for themselves
by using "legal loopholes"
to bypass needing to give a fair amount of tax
without getting in trouble.
The law needs to change but it won't with corrupt people
in charge being bribed by corrupt corporations.

That's the establishment.
They want as many people as possible
to be poor (so they try to reduce the number of middle class people by
making it difficult to be educated without getting into severe debt for example).

It's about control and it's about cheap labour.
These privileged and corrupt people
have engineered a corrupt system where
those born in rich families
or those willing to do unspeakable
things to get to the top (financially)
(although honest people getting to the top is very rare but might happen)
are the ones who benefit from the system
whereby they can order people
to do what they want for "money".
Essentially money is an I.O.U. "WORK" (or resources/property).

I believe the right wing and establishment are probably
interchangeable to some extent.
And I hate both those ideas.

I'm left wing and believe the very rich should help the poor.
Democratic socialism is a branch in the left wing ideology.
I feel the right wing ideology is just an excuse
to be discriminative and controlling against those born poor (thus have disadvantages
whether they're physical, genetic, psychological, monetary, opportunity based, links you have,
mental or physical conditions, depression from poverty itself, etc.)

Discriminating against the poor....
That's like being discriminative to races other than yours.
But that would be called "racist".
Yet right wing is just....an "opinion".
Yeah right.

Just like owning slaves because they were considered "subhuman"
and that this was just an "opinion".
Do you see where I'm going with this?

Well economic slavery (or something near that severity)
is present right now as poverty is still a very
big problem in "rich" countries.

Ridiculous isn't it?
Money = control.
I don't want to play the establishment's game.
I want fair policies that benefit everyone, not just
the corrupt greedy few at the top that horde money
while people are struggling.

And that's why I support Bernie Sanders
and NO ONE ELSE in this year's U.S. presidency race.
(I mean....maybe the candidates I've never heard of, might be
good too but they're not famous enough to have a chance.)

Sadly it's a two party system, not sure why.
Often we've had to vote for who is the lesser evil
or causes the least damage.

But the U.S. really has a good candidate this time.
(But sadly the rest of the major candidates are bad for us all.)

If you have any specific questions,
I think that would be better because you know
how much I rant!  Bored

Even just the fact that the media are cheering
on Hillary and Trump alone reveals
which we should vote.
The one against their selfish interests
and the one who is for our needs, the needs of
the people, not greedy desires of the corporations.

So to conclude, I support Bernie Sanders
because he's the only good candidate (so it's an easy choice)
as I've watched him talk and see he sounds genuine
and well principled while the other major candidates
just use ## lies and manipulative body language and such.
I can clearly see it but I'm not sure everyone else can.

The policies Bernie has is the biggest reason I support
him over the other candidates.
His policies are progressive enough to lift everyone in the U.S.
out of poverty while the others have distracting policies
(e.g. immigration being Trump's one trick pony and his policy doesn't even make
sense let alone it being offensive).

There are so many ways to look at this but
Bernie is a very principled person
and has refused to take a "super PAC"
to fund his campaign and instead relied
on the people to donate.
I think the reason for this was to avoid him selling
out to the corporations.
(Even if you make corporate donations anonymous...
the corporation will always find a way to let you
know they gave you money and want a favour in return.)

Bernie is the most progressive candidate
while the others are trying not to change much
(positive)
but instead make small good changes at best
while adding (negative) changes in or maintaining
(negative) changes from previous presidencies.

If you have specific questions, let me know.
But I really think it's obvious when you analyse
what they've done, how they talk,
how consistent their views are,
how good their policies are and who funds them,
it's very obvious to me that Bernie is the only good candidate.

He isn't a sellout to the corporations like the
other candidates are.
And that means, he's putting the people first,
rather than letting the corporations step all over us.

I probably didn't explain too well and certainly didn't
explain concisely but I hope it was still useful and made sense.

A couple of videos that might help:

Warning, may or may not be appropriate:

More videos available on YouTube
but be careful of misleading content and propaganda.

Bernie makes so much sense and sounds genuine while the others just sound
like they're reciting some manipulative nonsense.

I also suggest watching videos on Bernie Sander's YouTube channel. Smile

I feel that Hillary won't bring much positive change (and will add some negative change)
and is part of the establishment and has been bought by the corporations.
(Not to mention she has corporate links already.)

I don't know if I've provided solid evidence but
I've at least told you some of the logic behind
why Bernie is a great candidate based on his policies
(free health care, universal health care, taxing the ultra rich more,
stopping the corporations dodging billions in tax,
breaking up the banks, etc.)
and the fact he has much more
genuineness, integrity (won't accept corporate donations)
and is a consistent principled person (he doesn't change his policies
based on shallow popularity, but instead based on what he thinks
is fair.)

Really solid evidence would probably require a lot
of research and even then,
the corrupt media won't hand them over.
Then you'd have to rely on alternative sources of media.

Well I hope this was useful, sorry it was so long.
I don't trust Trump or Hillary.
But Bernie I DO trust.

Even if Bernie turns out to be
not as genuine as he seemed,
he'd at least not be as bad as the others.

But I really think Bernie is genuine.
He's been very progressive over his long political career
and refused to be bribed by the corporations so
I do feel he's genuine. Smile

Sorry guys. I'm going to have to disagree.

I am a Republican. I support Donald Trump. Bernie Sanders is socialist. I COMPLETELY disagree with socialism.

I feel that Socialism is too much of the government in my life. Trump wants to deport illegal immigrants and won't let them back in (he won't be able to build the wall, but go big or go home). Illegal immigrants take tax money and our jobs WITHOUT paying taxes.

Yes Bernie might be a nice guy and I'd choose him over Hillary, but we all know, at this point that the race will be Hillary and Trump. I can't vote (im under 18) but I'm pretty sure Trump will be the president and not Hillary. So yeah. If you guys want me to elaborate, just ask.

Ok back to serious stuff.

Ozydyck3, welcome back to the forum, where've you been?
Anyway, I know you can't vote yet
but I don't want you to continue having these misconceptions about
the candidates available.

I've been knee deep in politics compared to the average person
and have researched beyond the basics and looked at the facts on
the candidates this year.
So please carefully consider what I say.

Firstly you have to consider why you're a republican?
Is it because you were raised that way or what you watch on
TV?
You might not actually agree with republican concepts
and really, no one should agree with their awful ideologies.

The Republicans too often try to bring religion into secular
society when not everyone believes in a religion so it's unfair
to justify having "this or that law" because "in my religion it says ...."
Because that doesn't make sense since religions have not been proven
to be genuine. (I believe there may be a God but I do not believe in religion
as it's just a human made tradition to control people and justify bad actions, etc.
Sometimes there are even people profiting from religion.)

Another thing is the fact they're right wing.
It's nearly always the right wing parties like
republicans that engage in wars.

The Labour party in the UK (left centre wing but recently has been
NEO liberal which is left centre mixed with right centre)
had Tony Blair joining Bush with the war in Iraq.
It was supposedly about "weapons of mass destruction"
yet NONE were found.
It it still went on for years.
This whole middle east invasion by
the U.S., UK and other allies
is just a way to steal oil.
(I mean, maybe there's a few legitimate reasons like
fighting some terrorists but really?? Over a decade in the middle east
full of oil, and the main reason is terrorists??? I don't think so.)

Labour thankfully will go back to its left centre routes
with Jeremy Corbyn who's anti war and is a democratic socialist
I think. So hopefully if Corbyn and Sanders get in their
respective countries' powerful positions,
we don't have to continue with these stupid wars
killing many people for the sake of oil and other political motives.
(E.g. Republican politicans be like: hey look guys....the wars the republicans caused
is causing mass immigration....let's blame the left wing for allowing
refugees! Sigh )

You can't trust the republicans, no matter who the candidate.
(Well, I'm not sure if there's been any anomalies in the pattern.)
They also tend to deny global warming.
Why? So their corporations don't have to pay for the damage
they're causing the planet and so the oil, gas and coal
industry can keep going without consequences (e.g. corporately taxed more).

The republicans are against the peoples' interests.
I don't know what they tax the middle class but I'm assuming
it's not that much so they sort of make
some of the middle class feel like they're on the same side.
E.g. "tax is bad" "so I'm not going to tax you too much, vote for me!"
But the thing is, they're taxing the working class too much
as the working class doesn't earn anywhere near as much as the middle class.

.....Ugh my reply was much longer but when I hit the preview button,
it reverted to a shorter version of this post.

I'm just gonna wrap thing up by saying
that socialism is already in the U.S.
(the police, military, health service, public schools, fire brigade, etc. are all socialistic programs).
We need socialism in larger amounts.

I could go into detail about communism vs socialism vs democratic socialism
but I hate having to re-type stuff
so I'll keep it brief:

Communism is about working as much as you can,
to earn as much as you need.
(Good idea, but not perfect.)
But the propaganda against communism is really stupid
as it's referring to the problems in Russia, North Korea, China, etc.
and labelling it as "see, I told you communism doesn't work!"
but actually communism has been refused to work
as corrupt dictators have modified it.
In its pure form, communism has yet to be implemented properly
in the world. Everyone who's "tried it"
have actually deviated away from the definition
and modified it to their greedy advantage.

Fascism/extreme capitalism (e.g. in the U.S.) and the fake "communism" in Russia, etc.
they both lead to poverty!!
These leaders are using different labels
and using different routes to get to the same outcome
which is economic slavery while those at the top
enjoy ordering desperate people around with poor wages.
Different sides of the same coin.
Russia and the U.S. are both guilty of this and they demonise each other
when they're both guilty of corruption, just in different ways.

Anyway, socialism is better than real and fake communism as it focuses on a more equal society,
e.g. "everyone has the right to free health care as it's not a
luxury, but a necessity and human right, no matter what you earn".

Democratic socialism is even better as the democracy part
ensures the people have a vote on certain things
rather than it being all down to the government.

Bernie Sanders is a democratic socialist.
(I think I am too, as well as Jeremy Corbyn I think.)

The Republicans, media, banks, wall street and even some of the democrats
are all part of the establishment.

The establishment want to maintain this
economic slavery, corporate tax dodging,
ensuring cheap labour is available 24/7, etc.

It's selfish and they don't care about us, Ozyyck3.

If you've still got questions, let me know
and I'll clear things up because you had a lot
of misconceptions in your post but I'm not surprised as the media
are corrupt and biased.

All the major candidates are part of the establishment
(except Bernie).
So that means Hillary and Trump (as well as Cruz and Rubio)
are bribed by corporations to make unethical favours for them
(why do you think the legal loopholes for corporate tax dodging hasn't been
fixed? Bribery. Congress is full of corrupt people.)

Trump pretends he's anti-establishment but heck no,
he's part of it just like Hillary is.

Trump claims he funded his whole campaign
with his own money but that's false.
He only spent about a quarter for a million dollars of his
own money on the campaign while
using corporate money to bribe the media (hence his disproportionately excessive media coverage
while Bernie has such little media coverage....wonder why... LIES )

He also used super PACs to fund his campaign while
Bernie refused to use them
as he is principled to think that
if he did accept, he'd be chained to
the corporations' requests but he refuses so he owes
no one any favours.

I'm telling you, it's only Bernie who's genuine.
Trump is distracting you from the real issues.

- Immigrants "are stealing our jobs"
is just a right wing scapegoat.
These immigrants are actually helping the country out
as they're doing jobs no one else would do
and at even worse wages than the local (U.S. citizen) people
would get with normal jobs.

Deporting the immigrants would not
do much. The real problem in the U.S. is
poverty.
Bernie can fix this.

He's going to tax the upper class more (the top 1-10% somewhere around that region
and don't worry, they won't feel the tax as they're incredibly rich
and this group of privileged people do not include yourself as the top 10%
is people who earn WAY OVER $200,000 a year.)

He's also going to fix the corporate tax loopholes
to stop the greedy corporations dodging BILLIONS of dollars
and stealing the wealth of the nation.

He's going to reduce excess military spending (hundreds of billions of dollars a year
is ridiculous and a waste of money).

He's going to tax wall street speculation and with all this
money re-gained by the nation, it could EASILY EASILY
fund free health care, free university degrees and increase the minimum wage.

Trust me, the working and middle classes will BENEFIT
from Bernie while the corporations lose out (not even that much...but they're greedy and spoilt
and want as much money as they can get.)

Watch Bernie videos if in doubt.

Look at this political compass which this website
says represents the U.S. candidates in 2016 in terms
of their political positions:

http://www.politicalcompass.org/uselection2016

Trump, Bush, Cruz and Rubio are virtually fascists!

VOTE JILL STEIN (Old thread about BERNIE SANDERS -- U.S. Presidential Election 2016 Us2016
Now compare with these reference points to other historical figures
and it becomes quite revealing:

VOTE JILL STEIN (Old thread about BERNIE SANDERS -- U.S. Presidential Election 2016 Axeswithnames
VOTE JILL STEIN (Old thread about BERNIE SANDERS -- U.S. Presidential Election 2016 Politi10

My own political position on things is quite close
to that of Gandhi and Nelson Mandela according to some political
compasses/charts I've seen online. (They may not all be accurate....I've seen conflicting
ones about where Stalin is....I believe this chart is correct with saying Stalin
is very authoritarian while one chart from a biased website I assume,
claimed he was libertarian....LOL.)

You can take the test on the website too
(not sure how accurate it is but it's cool)
but warning, may contain inappropriate themes/language.

Hillary is almost as bad as the republicans
but I won't go into that since you
seem to already be against her and I've already written
about her in this thread.

She's basically the establishment's backup
if the republicans don't win.

So to conclude, the money that republicans
claim is lost through immigrants dodging tax (I think that's either
untrue or misleading....remember they get paid VERY POORLY
so even if they dodged tax, it wouldn't make a significant difference)
but even this made up accusation
of lost wealth is NOTHING
compared to the TRILLIONS of dollars of
wealth collectively lost
from the nation that goes from the bottom 90% to the
top 10% through low wages, dodging billions
in corporate tax, excess military funding, etc.

ALSO, a well educated population in the long
run leads to a better economy.
Even economists agree with this and really it's common sense
but the corrupt politicians want to mask this
with "lol it's immigrants not the bloody thirsty corporations"  Troll Face

Being a republican voter is like paying
for someone to steal from you. Seriously
Google Stockholm syndrome and see why
voting for a significantly right wing party is
similar to being a hostage that's come to grow
their captors. Banging
Although I think the MAIN reason some people
vote for right wing parties like Republicans, Conservatives, etc.
is because of propaganda.

Not all rich people are greedy but the higher you go up
the ladder, the more likely the person got there by corruption/unethical business practices, exploiting
people, lying, stealing, cheating, gambling, etc.)
but the rich and greedy
have the money to bribe the media
all day long.
Look at how corrupt Fox News and CNN are.
I think nearly all news networks in the U.S.
are corrupt but some are clearly more corrupt than others.

There was a CNN video on YouTube I saw that
showed a CNN reporter talking about
Facebook polls on their favourite democrat....
Bernie was the most popular in every single poll!

He was like "there's something called Facebook....it's popular with the kids".
They may claim it was a bit of humour but NO.
This is subtle propaganda.
They're referring to Facebook like it's something
only kids use and so they undermine the landslide
victory of Bernie in these Facebook polls which
actually reflect pretty well, what the majority
of people think since a large proportion of the population
uses Facebook. (I don't use it personally....it asks for too much personal info
that I'm not willing to sell to third party companies.... LIES )

And then there's the notorious Fox News.
The video Glory posted....was a Fox News video
and I've gone into detail in a previous post
in this thread showing how much Fox News
LIE about everything.
They are very right wing biased.

The media want either a republican or hillary
to win so that's why they're trying to use headlines
like "it's over for Bernie"
and "it's a race between Hillary and Trump"
but this is a LIE.

Bernie is actually doing ridiculously well.
They're just trying to trick people into
either voting for hillary (as many see her as a lesser evil
to trump even though they're both awfully corrupt)
or not vote at all....

They used the excuse of "hey look
hillary got a lot of south state votes! Bernie is cooked!"
WRONG.

We already knew Hillary would get many of those
southern states but now that this lifeline of hers
is gone and they've already voted now,
hillary is TOAST. (Good.....because we can't keep electing corporate establishment figures
which will just serve the corporations while stabbing us in the back.)

Bernie has a LOT of support from the North states
so he has a good chance of winning.
ALSO, the media love to use
the whole "she has way more super delegates"
excuse to make it seem like Bernie is losing big time
when he is not.

Super delegates are firstly a crime to democracy
(and actually America is NOT a democracy....it's an oligarchy which
is a form of plutocracy....it involves the rich minority having
a say in how things work....which is morally wrong....and you've guessed it...
it gives the corporations this power to mess with us like this
while a democracy would out vote them and the media couldn't be biased
but it currently is.)

Super delegates are ridiculous and don't represent
the population but a good thing is,
that even if hillary's super delegates wanted to choose
hillary even if Bernie won, they probably
wouldn't be able to as they're jeopardise
the whole party.

Like, if the democrat party is like
"hey we know you people voted Bernie but
we're gonna put Hillary in charge anyway"
would cause OUTRAGE.
The party would go down in flames
and they wouldn't want that even if
it means Bernie winning.

So actually, the media LIED to us.
Bernie can really win this thing.
Even news/newspapers in the UK have
pulled this lie.
They're all in on it.
It's the establishment.
This sounds crazy but there's plenty of evidence and it's really
not that difficult to believe that money
corrupts people.

So I do have hope that Bernie can win.
We just need to tell people
to ignore the news propaganda.
They're pretty much all against Bernie
as with him in charge,
they get less benefits
(e.g. being able to be bribed by politicians and corporations
to change their news stories or how they report them, etc.
would probably cease if Bernie got in, and they don't want that)

We need to take the western world
out of the corporations' pockets.
They've pretty much enslaved us.

Look out these discrepancies:
Africa is a continent rich in resources like oil, diamonds, gemstones, etc.
yet because of corrupt multinational corporations and corrupt
governments bribed by them,
the whole continent generally
is quite underdeveloped and technologically behind, has much poverty
etc. compared
to many other countries.

The U.S. one of the richest countries....has LOTS of poverty!?
Laziness? Lol I don't think so.

Please don't listen to the republicans and their bribed
news networks.

The game is rigged against us
but it's not THAT rigged.
Some people think it's so rigged there's no point voting
but that's WRONG.

Otherwise the corporations wouldn't spend so much
money lobbying with the media and politicians
to sway our votes.

It's rigged, but not enough to invalidate out votes.

Please get as many people as you know to see the truth about
the political world.
This is not "liberal propaganda"
or whatever rubbish Fox News would say.

Research some more if in doubt
or if you want me to clarify something,
let me know.

Darn....am I going to have to write essays
for each and every person who isn't convinced
Bernie's the only candidate???

I was going to use bullet points but....
it probably wouldn't be detailed enough.

And Trump's few policies reveal what kind
of short sighted person he is
and probably the opposite of genuine.
"Banning all muslims from the U.S." is a stupid idea
as it's discriminatory (imagine you were Christian
and some Christian terrorists attacked a country
and the country said "we're going to ban all Christians"...
that would cause outrage....and this situation is essentially the same.)

It also shows that Trump doesn't know what to
do after "temporarily" (hahaha sure)
banning muslims.
Or it could suggest that he's just trying
to push that policy in and see what
else he can get away with.
It might just be a permanent thing that
he pretends will be temporary.
Don't vote for these kind of people.  Seriously

He also shows his true colours when
he says he would like to punch a protestor in the face...
And I think a secret service agent in one
of his campaign rallies slam choked
a journalist for being about 18 inches past
a certain line....18 inches is nothing mate.
That's like a foot and a half. LIES
And SLAM CHOKING HIM?
If Trump gets away with this
kinda stuff, imagine what Hitler-style
stuff he can get away with as president! Neutral

Trump won't make "America great again" (a cliche slogan anyone could have used...)
but he might make America greater again for the CORPORATIONS and other
corrupt greedy people.

There's so much dirt you can get on Trump, he only
needs to open his mouth and you can easily analyse
his behaviour but Bernie has a spotless political record.
Bernie voted against the Iraq war, campaigned for
free health care, etc.

I have a feeling the establishment (including the media)
has a dirty trick (they're already pretending Bernie has lost when he hasn't)
that involves using the media to promote
hillary and then if it goes into hillary vs trump (oh God no... Evil or Very Mad )
then they might use the hillary email scandal
to make her drop out of the race and....trump win????
It's very plausible.
I don't trust the establishment.
And Trump is a fascist even if he wasn't part of the establishment,
but he definitely is.

Even if Trump's one trick pony policies
on immigration were good (which they're not....they're ridiculous and won't
make a significant change)
you can just tell by his behaviour he is NOT genuine.
He often repeats sentences, and often
his sentences don't actually have a lot
of substance but instead lots of fillers, lies
and distracting talking points.
He's just using charisma to make people think
he's a strong leader. It's professional lying, nothing more.

To people like me who see through his nonsense very quickly,
he sounds like an idiot but the thing is...
I fear he's not actually that stupid,
but rather hiding his evil side with a funny guy persona.

The speech ability is quite odd.
There's so much lacking in the professionalism department
it makes it difficult to tell
if he's just a puppet or just has
more money than sense.

Also check this video:
"WE'LL STEAL THE OIL BACK FROM ISIS"
LOL.
So ----> Trump wants to steal oil from ISIS ---->
oil that "ISIS" stole from Iraq and Syria ----> HOW CONVENIENT. lol!
(Does anyone else think that this is just a way for the U.S. government to get more oil? Lol. Shocked )
At about 0:57 seconds is the trump advert and at 2:20 minutes
is the oil analysis thing:

WARNING:

It's all about the corporate benefits with this establishment.

Look at this video about Trump wanting to lower the minimum wage,
he's just ridiculous: (watch the whole video....these analyses are quite interesting)

Just for fun, more ridiculous Trump quotes:
WARNING:

Lol I actually find Trump funny with how he always
says "these people love me".
I find him funny but also malicious.
I don't want a malicious clown in office.
And I think he's actually more malicious than clown-ish.
His behaviour is not consistent with
older footage where his personality is a lot more
serious. I do not trust this guy nor do I trust the others
that are in the pockets of the establishment.

Bernie Sanders is the only one that cares about the people
and is genuine.

You know the banks?
They're described as "too big to fail"
which means if they go bankrupt,
they take most of the economy with them.
But Bernie is going to break them up.
(Hillary only wants to "regulate them" which basically means
she's not going to do anything.)

So Bernie will:

-Break up the banks and stop this bank monopoly.

-Fix the legal loopholes for corproate tax dodging.

-Reduce excess military funding. (Hundreds of billions a year is way too much and some of that money can be used better elsewhere.)

-Tax the upper class and corporations more (top 1-10%).

-The middle classes and working classes will NOT be negatively affected.
(And yes, that "90% tax" rumour is FAKE. He won't raise it anywhere near that much
and besides, it's for the corporations which can easily afford to be highly taxed,
not our problem especially when they steal the wealth of the nation for their own greed.)

-Increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour I think.
(Instead of underselling the peoples' labour for profit for the corporations.)

-Tax wall street speculation.

-Use the massive money saved every year
to fund free health care and free university degrees.

There is NO way we can lose with Bernie.
But the other candidates are serious risks to peoples' well being
especially since the corrupt system will remain
if anyone else gets in.
That's why we need Bernie in.
There are so few genuine and well principled politicians
like Bernie, we can't let this guy slip.
We've needed someone like Bernie for DECADES.

I really hope I've explained properly as this took a long
time to type up, looking for sources of information
as I don't usually bother with Trump related information
as I can tell he's corrupt but I guess the more I know...
the more my suspicions on "Trump being even worse than Hillary"
are sort of confirmed.

If I was a U.S. citizen, it
would be Bernie or Bust for me.

Hillary, heck no.
Trump, even more so, heck no.

They're all bad candidates except for Bernie.

Please let everyone you know about Bernie and don't
be afraid to challenge the propaganda against "democratic socialsim".
The U.S. is far too much to the right wing as it is,
we need to shift it to the left at least by a reasonable amount.

I have read tonnes and tonnes of arguments
from Trump supporters (most were probably paid by Trump
because they used the same lies over and over again and didn't respond logically to the many counter arguments
that blew those arguments out of the water.)

Even if Bernie's policies weren't good (they're actually brilliant)
I would still know that it's better to vote the only
NON-corrupt candidate.

If you have any questions or comments, let me know. Smile

Feel The Bern! Bloo Dance

EDIT: Just going to mention that:

In order of best to absolute worst:
Bernie Sanders >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Obama >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hillary >>>>>>> Trump + Cruz + Rubio.

Even Obama wasn't that progressive.
(And also somewhat corrupt too.)
I mean, yeah compared to Bush before him,
he made significant improvements from
the damage left by the republicans but he didn't
change things that much.
Hillary is similar in a way. (But her corporate links and pro Iraq war positions, lies, etc.
make me think she's worse than Obama.)

But they're all heavily corrupt (except Bernie).
Bernie's record is very clean.

The U.S. really shouldn't let go of Bernie.
This is literally a once in a life time chance to fix things.
Reagan economics (trickle down economics which does NOT work)
has been used as an excuse saying
"look poor people, the corporations doing well,
means you guys also do well"
and it's a LIE.

Money doesn't trickle from rich to poor.
It FLOODS from the bottom 90% poorest (via their work/labour)
to the top 10%.

In fact the top 10% receive nearly all the wealth of the country
and they don't deserve it nor do they need it.
But the poor do.

Also, a problem with banks is that
if no one was in debt, there would
be very little money in the economy
and that needs to change.

I've written a lot about these things in previous posts in this thread
but it's quite.

Also, here's a good video on Bernie's policy of free health care:
Warning: may contain inappropriate language.:

You can just ask specific questions instead. Smile

Trump is right about the Mexicans wanting to build that wall across the border though. It just means Trump can't get into Mexico. Troll Face The Vatican would probably have the same thinking. Even though they'd build it themselves because Trump has no jurisdiction, yet he thinks he does because apparently the Vatican, being in Rome, being in Italy, being in Europe is a part of the US. ED Head Bang

Sooner or later, most other countries would do the same just to keep him out. North Korea did it a long time ago. Troll Face Joking aside, I was playing Xenoblade Chronicles again yesterday when suddenly I found this...

Bruce Campbell could possibly be a Bernie supporter as he's an environmental
enthusiast so most likely agrees with Bernie's global warming policies and others
that try to stop destroying the environment, contaminating water with fracking, etc.
Other than that I don't know but it's very likely he prefers Bernie.

So....we got Hulk, James Bond and Batman on our side! cheers Awesome

I'd just like note that this list probably has more people
that I don't know of (or personally never heard of).

Also, the list may need to be verified as I also found
that Will Ferrel WAS a Bernie supporter
but now seems to be supporting Hillary. Sad
(Sounds like someone spoke to him.... Seriously )

I don't have a grudge against celebrities who endorse
the wrong candidate.
It could just be that they don't know the truth

or it could be their hands are tied (e.g. if they support an anti-establishment
candidate like Bernie, it could threaten their relationship with their
bosses or non-Bernie supporter fans, etc.)

Celebrities are often advised not to get involved with politics.
(Just like how Leo said he didn't want to get "too political" but praised
Bernie's global warming position in policies.)

Sometimes they just don't have a choice and I completely understand that.

But those that support Bernie openly....I have huge respect for them.
It might possibly dent their careers but they still speak out
and I really respect that.

(As well as the fact most of them are
in the 1-10% richest category and likely will be taxed a bit more
yet they still vote for the greater good. Happy2 )

Although if Bernie does become president, so many things will change
for the better that any career dents they possibly may
take from endorsing Bernie, would most likely be cancelled
out as under Bernie,
there would be much less corruption
and Bernie/democratic socialism skeptics
would see that he was right all along and will like his policies
and see the improvement in the economy, health, education, etc.

Also, there's a possibility that
Christian Bale, Brad Pitt and Steve Carell
support Bernie as they're involved in a new movie
("The Big Short")
that attacks the banks and corporations, etc. and
I think relates to the global financial crash.

Like a political commentary:
(I'm just speculating, I don't know for sure if they support Bernie
for certain)

WARNING:

Daniel Radcliffe most likely supports Bernie
as he supports Jeremy Corbyn (UK Labour leader who hopefully will become
prime minister of the UK in 2020)
who is quite similar to Bernie Sanders and
Daniel also seems to think that Hillary and Trump
are working together. So I say it's VERY likely he supports Bernie.

Warning:

Paul Wesley supports Bernie (Paul is an actor in the TV show
The Vampire Diaries if you know that show....not sure if it's suitable for children as I'm not familiar with it.)
(Sounds kinda twilight-ish. No Idea )

VOTE JILL STEIN (Old thread about BERNIE SANDERS -- U.S. Presidential Election 2016 220px-10

Shailene Woodley also supports Bernie Sanders
(including the climate change policies).
She was going to play Mary Jane in The Amazing Spider-Man franchise
but it didn't play out like that for some reason.
I'm sure you know her from other movies though.

some may need to be verified as the list may not be 100% accurate.

As much as I'd like to believe it was a 1/100000 chance encounter, I can't help but question if it was staged.

Don't get me wrong, I loved how a tiny bird came and basically kissed Bernie head.

But something like that doesn't happen often at all.

IF it was staged, fantastic display of pathos.

Lol the bird landed on Bernie's podium on Good Friday, not kissing his head! lol!
Just like I question everything I see, I also questioned for a few seconds
whether it was staged or naturally occurring and just for the lolz, after watching the video
several times at two different angles,
I can conclude it most likely was naturally occurring.

It looks as if Bernie's finger was pointing after the bird was already in flight (off camera)
so that suggests no trained commands were used to drive the bird. (Although even if there was...it could have
been a last second subconscious attempt at attracting the bird to make a point, rather than a premeditated
emotional persuasion technique.)
Bernie's surprised facial expressions also appear very genuine. (Unlike most of Hillary's facial expressions.... Troll Face
From what I've read, apparently Hillary took "likeability acting lessons" from Steven Spielberg....LOL ROFL 3 Seriously )
His reaction speed also seems normal for his age.

I also think if it was staged, Bernie would have said something like
"this bird shows the environment is sending us a message to protect it"
rather than "this bird wants world peace".
A last second thought would result in something as unconnected as what
Bernie actually said. (World peace and birds.....I don't see the connection personally
but I totally get what he means in other ways.)

Although if it was staged, it would more likely be done
by other people rather than Bernie.
He's got other things to worry about.

But also, I think even if it was staged,
I wouldn't be affected by it at all.
If that's what it takes for some brainwashed people
to see that Bernie's the only good (major) candidate
then so be it lol. (A good man telling a white lie is better than
a bad man making any kind of lie in my opinion. If it's for the greater good, I'm on board.)
If I was a bird trainer, I'd totally do something like that for Bernie
without telling him. (I'll be honest, I'd do that for a hero like Bernie because that's what
he is, a political hero. Never have I heard of a politician break through the establishment
corruption except maybe what I read about Franklin D. Roosevelt breaking up the banks, etc.)
The guy's an independent who's running as a democrat to
stand a chance of winning. (Independents are ALWAYS ignored by the media
and not taken seriously as potential candidates.)

But I don't think it was staged at all. (Although if it were, I'd rather pretend it was real and it probably is.
Yeah I know I'm a little biased. lol! )

I question everything but in this instance,
it feels wrong even thinking for a second that it was staged.
We're talking about Bernie after all.
But I wouldn't be offended if it was.

I'm not religious (but I believe there may be a God)
so I did ponder whether it was a sign of a higher consciousness
or whether it was a psychologically induced chance phenomenon.
(Like how we can affect the weather with our mood.)

I don't want to take the magic away from this awesome moment
so I won't bother trying to analyse it as something that
could have happened easily without supernatural means.
I don't think it's a 1/100,000 chance (although what do I know? I'm not a probability expert! study ) but I do think
it's quite remarkable that it was on Good Friday and it
was on Bernie's podium. The bird was on the podium for approx. 24 seconds.

Yeah it wasn't a dove but the metaphorical message stands.
It would probably be more suspicious if it was a species that
didn't exist in that area.
If God was sending a message, I don't think he'd want
to make it look suspicious. Man my brain is weird for thinking this stuff.  Wheee Wheee Wheee Wheee <----- Reminds me of atoms. Shocked

I find it quite inspiring that even atheists were commenting that it
makes them question their belief system.  Nostalgia

Best angle:

Birdie Sanders!

Another angle:

I don't know if I observed correctly but it appears the bird
was looking at the audience, the water bottle and Bernie for
significant periods of time.
What does the water symbolise?
Climate change? BananaLlama (Rising sea levels would be a direct result of melting ice
caps from a hotter planet from continuously burning fossil fuels.)
