So I heard that in Xbox 360 you had to pay for Xbox Live....

I know PS4 and the big 1 is coming out but I prefer the good oldies. and it would be cheaper


So just tell me if I need to pay for Xbox Live if I get the Xbox 360.

And what are "Microsoft Points" spent for... movies and games? . . .?

i...think you do, i'm not entirely sure on that though, you can look it up if you want, as for MS Points, those are spent for anything on Live...yes, i'm capable of knowing about a console i don't own

You have to pay for Xbox live. $9.99 per month, or$ 24.99 every 3 months or $59.99 per year or $99.99 for 2 years. 

MP are spent in games, avatar customs, DLC for games and/or arcade games or Xbox live exclusive mini games. There are also applications you can purchase with those, like zulu HBO Go  etc.

Sometimes they have memberships sales and right now if your a gold member their giving out free games each month I don't remember it was 2 years ago when i first had xbox when i signed up for a microsoft account and it gave me a free one month ,but im pretty sure they still have that deal.After I've tried it out and im still playing it today 1600 microsoft points is equal to $20 and 200 microsoft points is equal to $5 other apps like netflix redbox and more is free if you already have it. Internet explorer is free and apps you have to paid you can try out for a month Xbox Live. Worth it if you own an 360

Xbox live is worth da price in my opinion it adds a lot but u need to be connected to the internet to use it I bout 13 months of gold membership for $60 on my birthday and ps4 is gonna make you also pay for internet with ps+ show shush bout the free internet because its not gonna be free for 4...

You can get xbox live when you turn on da 360 and have internet connected but it does not do that much besides load ads gold is awesome and better u can play multiplayer and there are free games to download arcade and non arcade titles its good for only $5 bucks a month also microsoft points are dying they are switching them to real currency

that's the One, MS points still apply to 360, but the 360's support will probably drop the second the One hits the market, the 1st Xbox was the same way
