So get this. I was in class. My teacher said since I was done with my assignment, I could do whatever. I asked if I could draw in my sketch book and she said sure. So I took out my sketch book and started to draw. A few minutes later she comes up to me and asks what I think Im doing. I said Im drawing a picture for a story Im writing. She picks up my sketch book and throws it in the trash can by her desk. Now heres the weird part. I WAS IN ART CLASS!!! So now, I have no sketch book.  
I think my art teacher really needs to rethink a few things.....

My health teacher would always stop teaching to talk to me about my sketchbook and for me to show him all my drawings lol xD

If what you say is 100% true..........you need to go tell your school principal.

If that doesn't work, you need to tell your parents. School officials don't like upset parents. If you REALLY want to see something done, maybe your mom can go to the local media? The local station will sometimes report on odd cases like that. Basically, if they brush you and your mom off about it, you simply have to make a lot of noise. Make it a big deal. Go on facebook, post about it everywhere.

The problem isn't just the fact that she threw away your art book. It's the fact that this teacher blatently discouragd you in the worst possible way. She threw away your belongings, which is not allowed, and gave you unfair circumstances. This is not the appropriate learning environment for children.............and that should be your argument.

I just remembered my friend telling me my art teacher threw away my stuff, too. Though she was cleaning stuff out for the next year, and this was when I was at college, so I didn't mind.

She did hate me, though. More than I hated her? Still not sure to this day. I wonder what she would think when she saw my art now.

I dead would of walked out of the classroom.My art tecacher always used to argue with me last year. I used to argue back and get detention and it was worth it.But we are two different people.Seriosly next time do something. slap her or something

XD teachers are mean... one time a sub gave me detention cuz i went to the wrong lunch first friday of the year (our friday schedule is different) ... then my mom went in, and lets say i idn't have to go to detention x) tehehehe

I just remembered one time in Year 6. I got detention for not doing my work. Now, you'd think that was reasonable. Wrong! I didn't do my work as I didn't have a pen or a pencil. I tried asking for one, but no reply.

This is why schools need their own justice system.

dude, just fill a bag with pencils, and whip 1 out when you need it, it's that simple, that's why teachers aren't lenient with it

If I needed a pencil, I just had to ask for one, and if they had one, they'd give it to me for the lesson. That's the way it worked. In this pencil case, they didn't even take notice of me!

I even had my hand up. Plus, I was only like 2 feet away from the teacher AND her assistant!

Maths teacher in Year 6, English teacher in Year 5, French teacher in Year 7 or 8, Cooking teacher in Years 7-9, French teacher in Year 10 and jokingly my French teacher in Year 11.

He loved having me around really. You should've seen all the entrances I did at the beginning of each lesson.  Good times...

Uranus.  There's a lot more PS1 games than I know of. I only recently found one of my sister's books that had hints and cheats on three PS1 games. One being Spyro 3. Undelos might know what book I'm talking about. Might.
