And actually, gold came from stars. Gold is created during the death of a star. Everything is made from stardust. Asteroids were also made from stardust. Yeah, there was this thing on BBC 1 or 2 a couple of weeks ago called 'Richard Hammond Builds a Planet'. Too bad there were only two episodes.

Done! I've never seen English that bad since my old English book in Year 2. Also, 8 is wrong. Earth still has one moon. It was formed in the formation of the Solar System where a smaller planet crashed into Earth. The debris later formed into the moon.

Actually, that's a theory, but it's the most plausible one we have.

...That was billions of years before Earth was formed. After the Big Bang, there was nothing but hydrogen and helium. Eventually, Dark Energy came along with the power of gravity, and pulled all that gas together to form the first stars.

As there were a lot of this gas, stars could grow bigger. And the bigger the star, the more it burns it's fuel, and the shorter it's life-span. These stars then went supernovae to create the first known black holes.

These black holes swallowed each other, as due to the mass star genocide (Caused by themselves, not the Fire Nation), black holes were common. When a black hole swallowed another black hole, the two actually combine to grow bigger and bigger, meaning a bigger gravitational pull. These created the first galaxies.

And in one of those galaxies, a few billions of years later, was what I call the Solar Nebula. This then slowly formed into the Sun, and the Solar System. The gas planets, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, were probably the first to be formed, as gas planets are actually very common.

If so, the rocky planets, Mercury (Who's atmosphere burned away quickly), Venus (Who probably collided with something early in it's life, thus making it technically go back in time), Earth (Which probably collided with something, giving us our moon), and Mars (Who's atmosphere was blown away a very long time ago).

What was left turned into the asteroid belt which to this day remains a barren, lifeless... belt inbetween Mars and Jupiter. The rest turned into the Oort Cloud, which surrounds the Solar System, and is where our comets come from.

I got most of that info from the school library. I had nothing to do during break, and my friends and I had no idea of the computer room that's open then.

I wish I had the history channel. But I'm on Freeview. And BT only had it On Demand. I remember watching that Ancient Aliens show before or after it became a meme. Sometimes I watch the history channel at my sister's house, but it rarely ever has anything good about astronomy.

The closest I have to a history channel is Yesterday, and most of the shows on there are about World War II.
