I'll see if I can come up with something tomorrow. In the meantime, extraordinary detail! I know it must have taken you at least an hour.

| nice!!!
This reminds me of the time i asked my friend how it was possible for him to draw lines so straight... he propped up his ipad and said "jordan, let me introduce you to the line tool..." then proceeded to laugh at me... lol xD oh you pesky linetools, i always forget you exist.... |

| Pretty good. I have this feeling Ty himself is going to post some bad/disappointing critique on here. Maybe not, maybe he'll like it. I dunno. |

I'm pretty sure he only checks general discussions. Either way I don't mind the bad/disappointing critique, I have a problem with seeing the flaws in something I just made since I cloud my mind with "Finalllyyy Im done, and , Great, better than I thought" so I usually miss the big errors I make, like my old drawings, I use to think they were good, because everyone said it was good, but I look at it now and good lord I was awful. Though, I'm getting the hang of drawing, in a way. |

Though I have this feeling that if I get a lot better in 5-10 years time, I'm still going to look at my Groose drawing and say "I made that". What I've been doing lately is redraw some of my old characters. |

| Well Like I said before, I only give positive feedback because I know you guys will improve anyway.
You say you look back on your old drawings and you say they're ##...
How else would you have gotten that way if we only said good things to encourage you and tell you that you did an awesome job? Honestly, There were times you guys did amazingly for your current skill level......which you increase it by every drawing.......and then there were other times you just missed the bar.
But I didnt want to exactly point out what all you did wrong.....because with the practice that you did, you would eventually learn by instinct and repetition in what way to create a look.
I didnt just start out being good at drawing people. As far as I'm concered, I only JUST started drawing human characters........but I was drawing like MADD this entire year.
Just take a look at this:
- Spoiler:
The errors in this make this almost unviewable for me. It's godawful as far as I'm concerned.......but no one said it was terrible. In fact, all the feedback I got for this was encouraging.
So, it made me feel like that 1.) I wasnt going to be judged harshly for any errors I make 2.) No matter what, you guys would be willing to see anything I make.
So about 13 or so drawings later I finally reach this point- Spoiler:
I know you guys would end up doing the same. And to prove my point:OZw:Before Training:- Spoiler:
Current point in Training:- Spoiler:
Rumoy:Before Training:- Spoiler:
Current point in Training:- Spoiler:
(Still to be my most favorite colored submission of yours)
People wish to draw like the pros. They also think that there is some magic "How to draw" video or tutoral out there that will get them the results that they want. This is the ONLY way I know how to do this.
Repetition and Practice. Thats the only way I know.
I mean, yeah, talent comes in handy...............but in all honesty talent is only 30% of it. The rest is just Practice and hard work. Maybe not all that hard.
But if you want, I Could have always went with the Dexter approach and gave you advice like: "This came out nice. However your left foot is too small and your head is too lopsided. also your hands are too small and her skirt wouldnt flow like that in the wind."
Not very encouraging is it? |

We can only get better! |

| i agree with so much being said o.o Lol yeah undy i know what you mean about the whole, it's good for your level thing... i do that all the time ^.^ because why judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree? (reference to a quote from einstein) lol But yeah, some drawings i feel like "yeaaah i need to re draw that..." and then i also have drawings that 3 years later i still look at it and say "dang... i wish i could draw like that" hahahaha which is funny, but i seriously do it! You continue to learn more the more you practice... I've actually realized i remember stuff more when i write or something (isk what to call it, it's not visual learning, nor is it hands on learning... i don't even know) but i'm pretty sure i get it from how i practice drawing... because as i draw something i memorize it As you continue to get better you also have swings... idk what to call them... where like you want to draw but everything you do turns out horrible, then a few days, or maybe minutes later, you're drawing something 10x better than you imagined... I know i've progress a ton from my sketchbook in 5th grade, to now... whether it's just sketches or the digital coloring stuff.... (heck i didn't even know how to even attempt digital drawing a year ago..... i don't even think you'd wanna see the comparion o.o it was awful lol) Yay!! ART! |

Excellent none the less, love the detail. Thnx, I appreciate the comment, I'd color but I wanted to pick out what style of coloring so I don't ruin it with the colors. Yeah it was my first time trying to draw facial hair lol. |

| While I was messing around in Unity, Eva suggested making a beard or mustache. Being my lazy self, I just took my Razor Cut Hair model and placed it into my face just right. |

Eh, makes sense. If I had your skill, I probably would've done the same thing. Well that, and shape the game to fit me. |

I don't think its all that bad. With the beard he just looks like a really short Mountain Man. Might I suggest also editing your eyes to make them smaller or more narrowed........ Because I swear.......If you were to ever take off your blindfold and reveal that Aquazon has big blue eyes of a baby sheep I will REVOKE your Code Master Card. Code Masters don't let such a GREVIOUS error slip by, unless on purpose. Oi Grumpz! Add shading to this too! |
