Uhh............yah. I just saw that on mine. The downloaded file I got from Aeria was only a couple of Kb big.....................and then it laid siege on my bandwith as soon as I opened it.
Mine is looking to not be finished installing for another 2 hours.....

This IP stuff can be bypassed with VPN software I think. I tried Hotspot shield years ago for fun to see if it could work as a proxy. I can't say I trust the programme or any similar programme. I seriously wouldn't risk it. But anyway, you're right. For me, I don't like generic MMOs. (I.E. anime themed, medieval...)
Planetside 2 looks decent at least. But it's an FPS MMO. (No 3rd person option I think.) Phantasy Star Online 2 looks decent too....as long as I don't have to play as a school girl anime character with a huge weapons and other serious proportion issues. Still looks generic though. :/ (Character looks small on the screen, anime themed, ugly GUI, you know the rest....)

Guess I'm a little bit more lenient than you as far as MMO's go.
My only requests:
+ Non-genericness: medieval sword stuff.
+ Real time action: Dodge it or get shot
If it wasnt for the Real-time combat in Dragon Nest I wouldnt be playing. They say that World of Warcraft is addicting. I used to think so..........till I actually got to play. Turn-based action. Played once, sat down in a trading area and havent logged on since.
Its just that lack of control when you go and fight that takes all the fun out of it. Makes ya wonder why you're even bothering playing when the computer handles most of the combat for you. Even though it was Press X for attack in FusionFall, you were still left in charge of moving around and such........even though most if not all the enemy attacks were unavoidable.
Still, I appreciated that you were still left to your own devices in combat.
Now Dragon Nest could use some more color. Honestly, If Eden had the EXACT same Combat system that Eyedenity put into DN, I would jump to Eden in a heart beat. I must admit that I like the bright colors of Eden Eternal. DN is rather dark and if it wasnt for the Real-time combat, it would be just another Medieval MMO.
Guess that's all it really took for me to be sold on it.
