strange how i'm doing another story with this Universe (4th to be exact) this was initially meant for Part 3, but it would've been too long if i had put it in, now prepare for the epic unfolding of events that Zane missed during his adventures on that distant world, so without further ado, AHEM, Chapter 1: New Dawn:

It was the middle of the day, and Alice was on the phone with Rex, who was busy having a "Guy's Day" as he put it, with Oliver and Hom. "Aren't those usually at night?" She tried to ask, but Rex simply answered with, "Too mainstream." and walked out. "So Rex, I need you to-hang on a sec I got another call. Hello?...Zane?!...Well where are you?...Okay, I'll see what I can do...I love you..." Alice switched back to Rex's line. "So who was that?" "Listen Rex, I need you to cut that Guy's Day short and get down here. Bring Hom and Oli with you." "Actually, the Guy's Day ended awhile ago, and I'm not sure where Oli and Hom got off to." "Dude, you can't just-oh forget it, just get down here."

After Alice hung up the phone, she went to X's old office. In there lied a special button, a button that was created for in case something truly important that needed everyone's attention happened. "Okay, looks like it's finally time for this thing to get some use." Alice said as she pressed the button, sending out a signal.

In X's band studio, he was busy chatting up with his band mates over their new single. "So how's this for the title? "Epic!"" One of them suggested. "That's-" X noticed his watch beeping. "Dude what's that about?" "Sorry guys, we'll continue this later." X jumped out of the studio window, flying across the skies to the Legends' HQ.

Hom was at the beach, relaxing with some ladies and telling them stories. "So then, I dove off the roof with only a towel on and-" Hom noticed his watch beeping. "And then what Hom?" One of the girls asked, giggling. "Well ladies, you'll just have wait." Hom hopped on his rocket-powered skateboard, and hurried off to the base.

Grumpy was at Zombie-Sheep Industries, working on his latest Sheep-Based Gadget. "At last, sheep will be able to speak! Now I can learn all of their glorious kno-" Grumpy's watch started beeping, making him drop the device, breaking it. "Noooooooooooooo! Why!? Whhhhhhyyyyyy!? Stupid Alice, I am gonna walk down there, and give her a piece of my mind!" Grumpy kept muttering to himself as he strapped on his Sheep styled jetpack, flying off to HQ.

Oliver was at Burger Frenzy with Coop, ordering themselves some nachos in Megas. "You know Coop, it's pretty awesome that you let me in here." Oliver thanked. "No biggie, man. It's nacho time!" The two ate their nachos, and talked about random other things, until Oliver's watch started beeping. "Well Coop, looks like I gotta go." "Alright, but hey, if you're in a hurry, I'll let you take Megas." "Y-you'd do that for me?" "Yep, but you'll owe me a slushy later." "Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou Coop!" Oliver exclaimed, and with that, he ran Megas over to HQ.

The Legends' met together at the HQ for the first time in a year, all for this one event. "Okay guys, let's get down to brass tacks." Alice said, sitting down at the meeting table. "What's up Alice?" X asked. "Well earlier today, I got a call from Zane." "No way!" Hom blurted. "Yes way, and he seems to have found a way to get back, so he asked me to get you all here." "So when exactly is the robot-man gettin' back?" "Not sure, we'll just have to wait." "Alice, I know you're excited and all, but what if this is just a waste of time?" Oliver questioned. "If Zane said it, then I'm willing to trust that he'll be back." "But what if it's just a joke, I mean all probably and statistics can show that-" Going up to a chalkboard, Oliver went off on a long list of outcomes, boring the others.

After Oliver finished his facts showcase, the conversations continued. "Yes! He's done finally!" Hom rejoiced. "You know I'm surprised Target didn't give some witty remark." Grumpy commented. "Come to think of it, where is Target anyway?" X asked. "Oh yeah, I think I heard something about him getting sent to prison." Rex explained. Everyone's jaw dropped at the thought of Target getting caught. "What for?!" "I think it was something about sinking a mall." "Dang it! I told Target that if he was gonna sink a mall, it shouldn't be the one in Townsville." Alice reminisced. "Why not? It's got like the best stock this time of year." "Because it's the one right next to the Police Station, Fire Garage, and City Hall." "Oh..." "Well let's go bail him out." X ordered, and they hurried off to the Downtown Jail.

At the fence gate of the prison, the gang was met with Johnny Bravo guarding it. "Hey kids, what do you want?" He asked, combing his hair. "For one thing, why are you here?" X asked. "Just working some part time security. Chicks dig security guards." "No, they dig giant robots." Oliver corrected. "And security guards." "Whatever, can you let us in?" "No can do, I'm under strict orders not to let anyone in. Nothing's gettin' by Johnny Brav-Hello gorgeous!" Johnny noticed a hot girl walking by, and left his post to talk to her. "Hey baby, wanna see my badge?" He was then smacked into a dumpster. "Ummm...let's go in." Alice said as the gang headed in.

sorry for no post yesterday, but i have a perfectly legitimate explanation (maybe not so legitimate) but anywho, Chapter 3: Detained:

Upon entering the prison, the gang was greeted by fortress of security guards; Target must have been a big deal "Okay, stay quiet, I'll handle the talking." X ordered. "Sorry kids, but we can't let you through, Officer's orders." "Stand down, we are the 7 Legends." "The 7 whats?" "You know, saviors of the world...like twice." "Never heard of ya." "Ugh, we have Official Hero Badges issued by the Mayor." X held up the badge. "Hmmm, seems legit. Let 'em through boys." And the Legends were escorted to the detention center.

"So who you here to see?" "We're looking for a guy named Target." "That lunatic?! We brought him in for sinking a mall, why would you wanna see him?" "Personal reasons..." "Whatever, but I'll tell ya the boss has been making a pretty big deal over bringing him in." The guard called Target up to the visitor's phoning station. (or whatever you call it) "Hey guys, was wondering when you'd show." "So would you mind explaining to us how exactly you got in here?" Alice asked. "Of course. Uou see after I detonated the explosives to sink the mall, I lived around there for a little while with D and Raj...until the cops managed to break in, and we were forced out..."

TARGET'S FLASHBACK: "So Raj, how are we gettin' out?" Target asked. "I would recommend the window in the back of the top floor, there's a skydiver's department there." "Good thinkin'. Let's go!" They raced for the top as smoke began filling the lower floors from the police. Cops poured in through the windows and skylights, but all the smoke provided excellent cover. Upon reaching the top, the team strapped on the parachutes, and went for the window. "See ya later suckers!" D taunted, jumping out. "Bye bye losers!" Raj insulted, parachuting out. Target was the last to go, and, shouting his signature remark, dove out. "Woohoo! Ain't nobody gonna catch the Target!"

Hitting the ground, Target, D, and Raj made a break for chopper sitting nearby. Getting there first, Raj drove, while D covered the police. "Yes! You been Critical X'd yo!" D taunted. Target grabbed onto the side as the chopper took off. "You all remember this, as the day you almost caught-" The chopper was hit by a rocket, knocking Target off, but letting Raj and D escape. Landing, Target was surrounded by cops. "Uhhh...Father Target?" He finished, disappointed.

"...and here I am...in prison." "Wow! I cannot believe my sister would something like that! I swear, when I see her she is gonna get a stern talking to!" Rex monologued to himself. "Have D or Raj stopped by?" Grumpy asked. "Nah, if they showed their faces, then they'd be in here too. I know where they are, but it wouldn't be a good idea to say it here." "So when's the trial?" Alice asked. "Trial? They caught me and the others jumping outta the building. No trial for ol' Target." "I see, so what's gonna happen then?" "Probably death. But don't worry, I gots me an escape plan already, and it's all centered around that window." Target pointed to a window in the corner. "Isn't that window wired with infer-red lasers?" "Oh darn it! Well it looks like you'll have to uh...break the ice, if you know what I mean." "We'll...have to think about that." "Hey! Quit loiterin' around the prisoner, your time is up!" One of the guards ordered. "See ya later Target." And the team exited the prison.

Target was moping about in his cell, just waiting for the Legends to make their decision on helping him. In the middle of his own thoughts, Target was interrupted by a guard banging on the door. "Hey! The Warden wants a word." "Who with?" He replied sarcastically. "You, now get out here." The guard dragged Target out of the cell, taking him to the interrogation room. "Whoa watch the hair man!"

In the interrogation room, the lights were off except for the hanging lamp on the ceiling. "Wow, overdone much?" "Just sit down and shut up, the Warden'll be here in a minute." The guard left, slamming the door behind him, and leaving Target alone. "So how am I getting out?" Target pondered to himself. Unfortunately, there was no light, and the ceiling lamp was affixed in position.

While Target was thinking, the door flew open, and the Warden stepped in, other guards behind him. "Officer!" Target jumped up from the chair, trying his best to keep cool. "Okay, who forgot to put the shackles on this guy? But yes Target, it's me, Officer Second." "I swear if you even-" "Now you're in no position to be making threats are you? You're just-" Target, out of frustration, decked Officer across the face. "Urgh! Guards, chain him up!" The guards did as ordered, and chained Target to the chair, with some difficulty. "And for that, I'm gonna make this interrogation ten times worse that I had planned." "Do your worst." "Okay then, now you're gonna tell all that your little secrets, and that includes the location of your little buddies." "I ain't tellin' you spit." (master of curse cover-ups, including his own, heehee) "Oh feisty feisty. It's the toughest nut to crack, but the funnest to break. Guards, ready the torture devices!" And the interrogation ensued.

The Legends were in their HQ, discussing the plans for Target. "So, do we all agree that we owe Target for the help with Slim?" Alice asked for confirmation. "Yep." "Sure." "Why not." "You got it." "I'm game." "Now, what's gonna our plan?" "Cake? I mean, cakes always get in prisons." Grumpy suggested. "Not bad. Any better ideas? Anyone? Alright Grumps, your plan is approved." "Yes! You all bow down to the Mighty Sheep!" "Don't over do it, man." Oliver said. "Wait, does anyone even know how to bake?" X asked. Rex then jumped up. "Why of course! I'll have you know I baked a plate of cookies for the Mayor once." He boasted. "Were they can good?" "Well...no, but that's not the point! We need a cake, and I can bake one." "Okay, get to work then." Hom ordered.

SOME TIME LATER: "Alright guys, I'm done with my masterpiece cake!" "Great, let's put the communicator in it." X said. "Oh...you wanted to put something in this...? I'll be right back."

EVEN MORE TIME LATER: "Okay, i'm back, and the communicator is in." "Finally! Now, to the prison. Alice, get down there!"

At the prison, Alice dropped off the cake at the gifting box, (or whatever you call it) and Target received it quickly. "Ooh cake!" He exclaimed, and took a bite. "Bleh! Who made this crud? Unless..." Target tore open the cake, finding himself the communicator, and put it in his ear. "Alright check check check, one two." "This is X, we hear ya loud and clear." "So what's the plan here?" "You know that weight room you go to with the other prisoners?" "Yeah." "The plan is, next time you're in there, you're gonna start an all out brawl with some prisoners. Once that happens, you'll end up in Solitary Confinement. We'll relay the rest when you're thrown in." "Got it. Over and out."

In the workout room, Target was walking over to the last barbell available, when some big dude got onto the table just as he was about to. "Hey Bane reject!" The guy sat up from the table. "What?" He boomed. "I was about to use that one, and I don't take kindly to those that steal from me." "Listen here pipsqueak, the name's Pistol, and I'm in charge 'round here." "Says who?" "Says these massive guns!" He flexed his muscles. "Really? Because all I see is a dumb-butt who can't even reach his own face." "You want a knuckle sandwich buddy?" "You and what army?" "You wanna see my army? Fine. Glory, Drew, get over here!" On command, Pistol's entourage of a guy and a girl walked up. "Show this newcomer how we do things." "On it, boss." And before you knew it, a brawl had broken out.

In no time, the guards showed up...after Target had managed to single handedly knock out Drew, brake Glory's foot, and knock out a few of Pistol's teeth. Pistol's gang managed to sneak away, with the words, "This isn't over! Next time'll be different!" Target on the other hand, stuck around to boast. "Yeah! Is that antisocial enough for ya?" The guards were up on a high platform, just staring at Target. "What? You gonna throw me in Solitary?" The guards dropped a cage from the ceiling on Target, trapping him. "Bring it on!"

Target was in Solitary Confinement, chatting with the rest of the team over at HQ. "So, do you see any weaknesses in the security around there?" "Not really, this place is locked tighter than...something that's tight." "We'll work something out. In the meantime, is there any way you can get us some kind of map?" "Nada." "Well do you at least know someone who can get us the blueprints?" "Now that you mention it, I think that Danny guy we met at Devil's Canyon used to work there or something." "Great, we'll check it out. Bye." "Hey wa-" Target was cut off mid sentence. "Okay guys, to Devil's Canyon!" Alice ordered. And the team hopped in the Critical Legend, driving down to the Canyon.

Reaching Devil's Canyon, the gang hopped out of the Legend and walked towards the Bosa Bosa Tribe Camp. "Alright people, we're here." Hom announced. "Thank you, Captain Obvious." Oliver said. They were approached by the gate guards. "Welcome back old friends of tribe. What here for?" "We've come to see your Chief." X explained. "Of course, here you always welcome." The guards stepped aside, and everyone walked in. "You know, this place has improved a lot since last year." Alice commented, noticing some crude log cabins. "Yeah, it's like ye old city." Hom joked. "You're thinking of the Middle Ages, where sheep were super important." Grumpy corrected.

The Legends arrived at Danny's better than the rest cabin, and knocked on the door. "Hey Danny, it's the 7 Legends, open up!" X yelled through the door. "One second." And Danny opened the door. "Hello my friends. What's with the sudden visit?" "Well Target's been thrown in jail, and we heard that you used to work there. Is that true?" "Uh...N-no, not once in m-my life." "You seem nervous, what's going on?" "Well...I'll just show you. Follow me." Danny led the way to a back corner of his house, stopping at a dead end. "Dude, there's nothing here." Hom pointed out. "Oh Hom, still just as naive." "Naive?" Without answering, Danny opened up the wall with a hidden switch, revealing a collection of things...including his Hero Badge from the Mayor. "No way!" X blurted. "Venom?!" Oliver questioned. "Yes, it is I, Venom Unlimited, in the flesh." He bowed. "What happened to you, man? We've always wondered." X asked. "Well...it's a long story. You see, I left you guys because I had something to do." "What?" "I knew you'd never forgive me, so I left without a word." "What did you go to do?" "I felt that I could do better with something more proper, and that's why I joined SACT." "SACT?! Why?" "Because I knew that with a better hearted leader, SACT could return to the way it was before the war." "Then how come you're living all the way out here?" "That's an even longer story. Let's head back to HQ, I'll explain there." "Got it, grab your gear and let's go." "Admittedly, I lost those old things years ago." "Well do you at least have the Separator?" "That is one thing I could never seem to lose." Venom picked a large ax off the wall; the word "Separator" was carved into the metal. "Alright, let's get going." And so, they set off back towards the HQ.

The Legends were at the HQ, awaiting Venom's explanation for his current state. "Okay everyone, I guess it's time I told you of all this. Gather round. You see, while I was in the Academy, I met a young man named Officer. He too wanted to change SACT, for what reasons he did not say. Over time, we became like the best of friends Officer and I. Going through the memories it's hard to imagine why he did what he did."

"And what was that exactly?" Alice chimed in. "Just a minute. Eventually, as we soared through the ranks, I became the Commander of SACT, and Officer was my...First Officer. I, as the Commander, was able to reduce SACT's many gruesome experiments. Although not stopping them completely, the war was eventually brought to an end. Over this time however, I noticed Officer had grown distant from me; not wanting to hang out like we did before. One night, I found him trying to poison my evening drink. I stripped him of his position, but we ended up fighting; he won. In his victory, Officer kicked me from SACT, leaving me to rot in the Wilds. He took over SACT from there, while I became Chief of the Bosa Bosa Tribe."

"Why didn't you ever contact us?" X asked. "I wanted to, I really did, but...I didn't want you to see me in that state. Even when you came to the Camp that year, I still couldn't face you." "Listen Venom, no matter what choices you make, or who you're with, as long it's with good intent. You'll always be our friend, and that won't change." Hom reassured. "*Sigh* I guess you're right. Anyway, you still need those blueprints, right?" "Yep, do you have any?" "Sure enough, I kept a copy on hand. They're pretty outdated, but the overall layout should still be the same." "Okay, let's start makin' plans then." Alice said.

The Legends were busy finishing up their plans. except for Hom, who was fixing himself some chicken in the other room. "Okay, so after we grab Target, we'll be heading out through the storm drain?" Rex asked. "Yep. It's a pretty good if I do say so myself." X gloated. "I just have one question." "Yeah, Oli?" "Why am I staying behind!?" "Simple, you have to be monitoring the cameras after Grumpy hacks 'em. Besides, if we get caught, do you really want the press to find out that Zombie-Sheep Industries was involved?" "Why does Grumpy get to go then?" "Well then you can take over the company for yourself." "Hey! I object to that!" "Okay, Grumpy is going, and that's final!" Oliver and Grumpy just glared at each, grumbling smart remarks.

"Wait a minute, where's Hom? He's been gone for a while." Alice asked. "I'm not-" Rex was interrupted by the sound of someone running out of the kitchen. "Alright guys, I've had my chicken, now let's do this! Hhhhhoooooommmm Ccchhooooiiiiii!" (you got a problem with a Leroy Jenkins, take it up with him) Hom ran out of the HQ shouting. "I hope he realizes that we're taking the Legend...and that it's raining." X said. "I'll explain it to him in the car." Alice said, walking out to get him.

After picking up Hom, Alice and the others hopped into the Legend, and drove off to the prison. "Man, this is pretty sweet ride ya got here." Venom commented. "Yep. The Sheep-Mobile certainly is a beaut." "I heard that!" Oliver yelled from communicator. "Okay okay!"

SOME TIME LATER: "Well one thing's for sure: this rain is really gonna help mask our approach." X broke the silence. "Well guys, we're about there. You all ready?" Rex asked. "Affirmative!" Alice replied. "Okay. Remember, once we reach the grounds, we'll be going in through the air duct."

Once they arrived at the prison, X and Hom took to the towers; taking out the guards on either side of the gate. Meanwhile, Grumpy, Alice, and Rex cut through the fence; their job was to take out the guards on their way to the ducts. Venom stayed in the Legend to keep watch. "Alright guys, you've got one guy standing near the duct, another two chatting in the middle of the courtyard, and one last guy who appears to be asleep against the door." X explained. "Got it." Alice responded.

Alice and Rex double teamed the two guy chatting. "You know, it's pretty dark out here. Someone could just like smash our heads together, and...wham! We're out like-" They did just that. Grumpy fired a sleep dart at the guy by the duct, knocking him out.

"X, Hom, it's all clear down here." Rex announced. "Good job guys, we'll be down there in just a sec. Me and Hom are gonna check for any more guards. You can just go ahead." "Roger that." Grumpy, Alice, Rex crawled through the ducts, heading in.

Once they were through the vent, Alice decided to call up X and Hom to see what was going on. "X, Hom, this is Alice. what's your status?" "Walking through the front door." "Are you crazy?! You should be going in through the roof. How do you even plan to get past the guards?" "You'll see. I have a foolproof plan." "Oh brother! Just meet us at the Security Office." "No problem."

Alice, Rex, and Grumpy began the walk down the halls to the Security Office. The walls were painted the dullest of grays, as with everything else. Going through, the group encountered few guards. Whether it was because of Target, or something else, one could only guess. Cameras were of no problem thanks to Grumpy's Camera Scrambler, which, if uploaded into a camera, would just make it play a loop. (it was of course, in the form of a sheep)

MEANWHILE, NEAR THE FRONT ENTRANCE: X and Hom were dressed up in some guard uniforms, just waltzing on down the way to the Security Office...That is, until Officer, who was roaming the halls, caught them from behind. "I'll tell ya, X. This was the best idea you've ever had. I mean, dressing up in guard outfits to fool everyone is genius!" "Aha, I found you! Turn around so I can see you!" "Uh...we were just-" "Leaving your posts to get out of the rain I suppose. I swear, I can never leave you alone, can I?" "Well..." "Oh forget it, I've got more important matters to attend to. I'll deal with you two later." And so, he stormed off. "Well I guess that explains the mustache drawn on these ID Badges." "Yeah, I guess Mr. Mordecai and Rigby here don't take their jobs very seriously." X and Hom continued on their way.

MEANWHILE, IN OFFICER'S OFFICE: "Double the patrols around Solitary! I don't care what it takes just do it...I smell a rat in the walls tonight.

Alice, Grumpy, and Rex arrived at the Security Office to hear a voice from behind the chair. "Hello. I've been expecting you." "Huh? Who're you!?" Rex questioned. "What? don't recognize my voice?" "Not really." "Fine then." The man turned the chair around, revealing that it was none other than Zero. "Strange how I find you here just shortly after your buddy Target is taken in, eh?" "Well..." Alice started to say. "No need to say a word young lady. I already know." Zero stood up from the chair, while Alice pointed her blaster at him. "Don't you even think about hitting that button!" "Now I could do that, but let's say a little "accident" happens that keeps me from it." "What do you mean?" "Well if you were to shoot me with that, I'd be knocked out, allowing you to take the camera key-codes from my shirt pocket." "Of course." Alice then blasted Zero, knocking him unconscious. "Okay, Grumps, get to work on these locks." "Gladly." Grumpy said, cracking his knuckles.

A COUPLE MINUTES LATER: X and Hom walked into the Security Office. "Freeze!" Hom shouted. "Wha-Hom is that you?" Rex asked. "Ah man! I really thought that would work." "So how's the hacking comin' along?" "Should be done in a few-Oh dang!" An alarm suddenly blared from the loudspeaker. "Please tell me 'oh dang' means something good." "Afraid not, looks like they got a fang on this network." "Is that gonna slow you down at all?" "No way, just keep any guards off me while I finish." "You got it!"

Guards rushed towards the Security Office as Grumpy was rushing to complete the hack. When they started coming in, X and Hom attempted at distraction. "Whoa whoa whoa fellow officers. This is just a false ala-" The guards rammed through them with ease, but were quickly dispatched by Alice and Rex. "Word of advice. Get out of their way next time." "Right." The guys kept the seemingly endless supply of security at bay. Unfortunately, it was only the beginning of their troubles.

"Another falls before my digital Sheep-Fu! Hai-ya, ba-ba-ba!" Grumpy finished up his handy-work. "Alright. Oli, come in. This is X." "I read ya. Over. And that's my line Grumpy." "You should have control of the camera and lock systems now, right?" "Correct. The Solitary Confinement door should be open now." "Good. Unfortunately we've been spotted, so I'm counting on you to keep those guys off us." "You got it, X." "Alright then, boys. Let's get going to Solitary Confinement."

Alice, Rex, Grumpy, Hom, and X bolted to Solitary, Oliver locking the doors behind them as they went. In little time, they reached the entrance...but the door was locked. "Oli, what's going on? I thought you said the door was open." "Yeeeaaaah...about that. It seems the system has kicked me out, I can't open that door unless you get me back in." "No can do, the halls are swarming with troops." "Then you'll have to think of something, or else I don't know." Grumpy went over to the control panel. "Let me take a crack at it." Just then, a large object bashed through the hallway behind them. "What the heck!?" Rex exclaimed. It was mech suit, piloted by Red. "Listen, I don't wanna have to kill you, so just surrender now and come quietly." "Sorry, but I'm afraid we can't do that." X answered, while the gang readied their weapons. "So be it then." Red closed the hood, and the machine let out a deafening roar as it charged toward them. "Grumpy you better get that door open fast!" Alice ordered, bracing herself for the fight ahead.

The team crawled through the vents, having no clue of where to go. "Say...did we even get a map of this vent system?" Target asked. "Well we didn't think we would need one, so no." "Give Venom a call, maybe he knows the layout." Grumpy suggested. "Right. Venom, come in. This is X." "I read ya, you're in a bad spot, am I right?" "How'd you know?" "Well the blaring sirens out here are a good start. What do ya need?" "We're leaving through the vents, do you have any kind of map?" "Nope, but if you know where you are I can guide you." "Let's see, we're in..." X peered down into the hall below. "...the Northeast Cell-block." "Ooh that's a ways away, but don't worry, those aren't too complex. Follow the straight path down to the Southeast Block, I'll continue from there." "Okay."

When they reached the Southeast Cell-Block, Venom called again. "Alright, now take a left at the fork, and another left at the next one, then a right. You should arrive at the storm drain." "'Kay. See you on the outside." They started moving again, but as they did, Hom slipped, and bang his hand on the vent cover he was on. A guard heard that, looked up, and, seeing them in there, shouted, "In the vents!" "Everyone move!" Alice shouted as the guards blasted into the vents. The guards who saw them radioed back. "The Prisoner just went rat. Get some men in those vents!"

They crawled as fast as they could through the vents, firing at the guards through the vent covers as they did. Enemies tailed behind them all the way. When they neared the West Wing, they found themselves cornered a wind tunnel. "Venom, we've reached a dead end at the wind tunnel. You're gonna have to find us another route." "Sorry but that looks like the only clear way out. There should be a another vent below you on the other end." "We'll see what we can do, bye. Alright people, troops are tailing behind us, and we need to make that jump. So one at a time, we'll each go for it. Hraaaah!" X jumped out, landing safely in the other vent. "Okay, next, I'll catch you if you miss." One by one, they each made it over, and continued on. When the guards reached them, they radioed back, "We have lost sight of the enemy. They're heading west. Next team, get in here."

The gang continued onward, a new team following them. Eventually, they reached the storm drain, and blasted out the enemies in the vent. "Final stretch, guys. Let's make it count." Alice said, and they hopped down into storm drains.

MEANWHILE, IN OFFICER'S OFFICE: "They've escaped!? What do you mean they've escaped?!" He yelled over the phone. "I'm sorry, Sir, but they seem to be down in the storm drains." "Then get some men down there, now!" "Unfortunately, we can't." "Why's that?" "Those old passageways are aren't exactly straight forward. Besides that, it's too dark to see anything. By now they're probably nearly out." "Darn it!" Officer tossed the phone across the room. "Target, you can't evade me forever!"

The gang trekked through the muck and scum of the old storm drains. "Ugh! All this mud is messing up my hair!" "Quit whining, Hom. These passages can't go for much farther." Alice reassured. "So how do we know where exit is?" Target asked. "I mean, it's pretty dark down here, and the exit is gonna be up above, so..." "Only thing we can do is shine some light on the roofing every so often and look for one." "Actually, I parked the Legend near one of the entrances. If we listen for a truck running we should be able to find our way out no problem." Rex explained. "Good thinking! I'll turn on the Sheep Directional Mic." "Zombie-Sheep Directional Mic!" "Fine!"

After a time of movement and listening, the gang stopped for a rest. "Say, we've been walkin' for a while and I've yet to see any signs of us getting closer." Target broke the silence. "Hmmm, come to think of it...haven't we passed that torn poster of Major Glory like ten times?" Alice questioned. "Grumpy, let me that blueprint." X ordered. "Alright." X studied the map a few seconds before realizing, "Hey, we've been going in circles!" "Grumpy!" Everyone yelled. "Well it's not my fault the guy who dug these tunnels decided to include a square loop before the exit." "Three square loops, Grumpy. Three! According to this we should've taken two rights back at the Prison Connection." "Well let's get going then. We've wasted a lot of time thanks to someone's incompetence!" And for the rest of the way, everyone just ignored Grumpy, giving him angry glances every now and then.

Officer was pacing about in his office, Target and the others having escaped the prison. "Target, how do you continue to elude me?" He pondered. "I need some ideas, a new plan to catch that slippery toad." He sat down in his chair, calling up someone. "...Zero, I want you to reset the status of those 7 Legends...To Wanted: Dead or Alive...I am aware of that, now get to work." Officer dialed up another person. "B?...Yeah, it's me. What do we have in the line of...robots?...I see. Well have them shipped in by tomorrow...Good day to you. Bye." He sat back in his chair, a noticeable smirk on his face. "Oh Target, you have no idea who you're messing with."

ONE WEEK LATER: Target, X, and Hom were fleeing from three "police" robots; being shot at with stun blasters as they dashed through alleys. "Guys, now would be a great time for that extraction!" "Sorry, Target, but if those robots get a look at the Legend they'll be able to track us down. Isn't technology great?" "You'll just have to lose 'em by yourselves." Alice and Rex said over the communicator. "You couldn't have mentioned that when we came out here?!" "Ummm..." "Forget it, just be ready when we get back." "Ready for what?" "This!" Suddenly, the three burst through the doors of an old, rundown building. The rest of the gang shot down the robots that came through.

After gunning down the robots, Alice approached Target. "What the heck were you thinking, dude! Officer's police force can track us with those bots. Now we have to-" "Hey, relax! With these logs it doesn't matter, besides, we swiped a Data Eraser while we were down there; no worries." He explained. "Okay. Sorry, it's just...I don't wanna move again. This place is bad enough as it is, and-" "Look, I raised you, and I would never endanger someone I care for." "Just like Zane..." Alice sighed. "You miss him, huh?" Oliver asked. "Yeah...Maybe if he were here, then...Anyway, there's no time for this, let's hurry up and check those logs." She ordered, going back to the planning table. "We all miss him you know. That call was as exciting for everyone as it was for you." X said. Alice simply flashed a smile, and sat down. "Hey! what's goin' on down there?" A voice boomed from upstairs. "Nothing, Pistol. Target and the others just got back." Rex shouted back. "What's the big guy doin' here?" Target asked. "Well, apparently, Pistol and his gang escaped from the prison around the same time we did. He came across this building, found us, said he knew you, and here we are." Oliver explained. Target slumped down in his chair, mumbling something. "Is this gonna be a problem?" X asked. "No, it's...fine." "You sure?" "Yes, I'm sure."

At the meeting table, X started the plans. "Okay, so to recap: Target, Hom, and myself infiltrated the City's security records building. There, we were able to find this..." He held up a small cartridge, inserting it into the computer. "A record of Officer's comings and goings." Target chimed in. "Correct. After analyses we were able to narrow it down to two places." X turned the monitor over, showing some images. "First up is this offshore research plant. "Owned by SACT." Hom finished for him. "Yep, he seems to come here every other Saturday. However, this plant is like Fort Knox when it comes to security. Our team is way too small to attempt a break-in, and we have no idea what's inside." "What's our other option?" Rex asked. "Well, the only other place we've tracked is the Control Tower near the prison; the rest of his time seems to be spent here. It's less guarded, and we have more info on it." "And where did that come from?" Target asked. "From your 'friend' Pistol. He went there a couple times during his prison stay. "That's right." Pistol suddenly came down the stairs. "And I've got all the info you'll ever need." "No! No way am I working with that guy!" Target yelled, slamming his fist on the table. "Living with him is bad enough, but-" "Look, Target, I know you have a history with this guy, but he's our only chance of getting through that Tower." Alice tried to calm him. "Ugh! I'm gonna go lie down." Target stormed off up the steps.

After Alice calmed Target down, the whole gang gathered at the meeting table to plan out the Control Tower Break-In. "Alright, first step: Point of Entry." X announced. "If memory serves that tower used to be for mining back in the day." Pistol explained. "Any other endpoints?" "Hmmm...none that I remember..." "Figures you can't remember, you big oaf." Target insulted. "Target, what did we just talk about upstairs?" "I don't know, the author didn't explain it." "This isn't a story, man, this is real life...Wait, is it?" Hom asked. "Can we stop questioning reality and get back to business, please?" Oliver urged. "Right, now, as you were saying, Pistol?" "Well before I was so rudely interrupted, I was going to say that there's a tunnel running beneath this building." "Sheep-Drill time!" Grumpy jumped up from his chair. "Zombie-Sheep Drill!" "Fine! But that's getting kinda old." "Any other kinks we should know about, Pistol?" Alice asked. "One thing; those old tunnels are small, and could collapse with the right incentive." "So some of us will have to stay behind, right?" Rex chimed in. "And another thing, that tower has motion sensors inside the mine, they'll see you comin' a mile away." "Distracting subterfuge, I'm on it!" Rex volunteered. "Okay, so who's going down, and who's staying up?" X asked.

I've only written one public narrative which was only around 5,000 words so I'm definitely not an expert. Just some things I'd consider changing.

It seems most of your dialog follows the same pattern: "…" [Person] said. 

This pattern kind of interrupts the story and makes the dialog more obvious. One way to make the dialog more subtle and improve the flow of the story is to use an action to show who is speaking.

i'm completely aware of that fact, but unfortunately i find it difficult to do put variety like that around in spite of the amount of stuff i've written, it's been a habit from near Story 1's end, and it might be a good idea to stop...then again, i've been biting my nails for over 2 years and can't seem to stop that either, but we'll see

i have decided to avoid writing experiments for this story, as to avoid ruining it with too much thought on style, if i write another story, i'll experiment more there, you might see a bit here, but not much, now that that's done, let's get back to the matter at hand, Chapter 19: Operation: Under New Management: Part 1:

The meeting was over, and a decision was reached: Target, Venom, and Oliver would be infiltrating the tower through the mines, and at the same time, Hom, Glory, Rex, Alice, Raj, and D would be up above busting in through the front, everyone else staying back for radio support.

Once both teams were in position, they radioed in. "Miners reporting in; we are about halfway there. Over." "Fighting Squad is ready to begin attack. Over. And why doesn't our name sound as cool?" "Check. Okay everyone, commencing Operation: Under New Management. Over and out."

Down below, the Miners crawled through the small, terribly dark tunnel system. Not much occurred on the way, and with good time, they reached their destination...however, they found nothing but a bunch of big rocks and wooden beams piled together. "This is Venom, we're at where Pistol said the entrance would be, but all I see is a collapsed passage." "That's impossible, I specifically remember-oh wait! Yeah, that entrance collapsed a few days before Officer took over." "And of course you leave out that detail Mr. "I've got all the info you'll ever need." "Calm down. Let's try to find another way." "What other way? There is no other way!"

Oliver, having been silent this whole time, interrupted them, saying, "If I might make a suggestion, how about we just blow it open?" "Isn't that Grumpy's department?" "I live with him; you pick up on this stuff after a while." "Oh now who's stealing ideas?" "...Shut up."

While the Miners were blowing it up down below, the Fighting Squad was blasting it down up top. "Radio Support to Fighting Squad. The Miners are doing fine, how about you?" In the middle of smashing a robot's face in, Alice answered, "Well other than the army of robots trying to rip us in half, we're fine. Tell the Miners not to-" She stopped suddenly.

Alice, along with the rest of the Squad, had seen some type of mech trudging towards them. It stopped once it got within clear visible distance of the six; piloting this mini-behemoth of sorts was none other than Red. "What do ya think of the new suit? Pretty sweet isn't it?" He shouted over the microphone. "Looks awfully sour to me." Rex replied. "It doesn't matter what you think of it. I'll flatten you like-" Boom! A sudden explosion from the Tower shook the ground beneath them. Red's mech started sparking, as though the explosion had broken it. "Dang it! Freaking dang it!" D felt a taunt coming on, "Awww, did the mean old shaking break your toy?" He said in a high pitched, girly tone. "Uhhh...No...but I'll have to go back inside; check on the damages." Red then walked the mech back towards the Tower, but not before Hom shot a couple bolts from his Lightning Gun at it, causing the machine's armor to crack a bit.

Alice radioed back to the Miners; Target answered the line. "Guys, what was that explosion?" "The path was blocked, and we need explosives to get through." "Okay then. Next time try to be more discreet, though. You're taking down Officer, remember?" "You know I didn't expect such a casual responce from you. What's up?" "Well this is no time to be fighting each other. Besides, I don't like being angry; I regret what I say after." "Good to hear." "Anyway, we'll be in in a few. Try not to die."

MEANWHILE, IN OFFICER'S OFFICE: "Send some bots down to investigate that explosion! I want no one getting through ya hear?...Oh, and while your at it, prep that Power Armor we got from B. I have a feeling we'll need it."

After having blown open the passage leading into the Tower, the Miners had to begin their ascent while the others finished up outside. Venom was the first to step up onto first floor, "Well, here we are. Officer's Tower: The Lair of the Beast." "And where me and Officer settle the score." Target said as he and Oliver joined Venom. "And where he and I fought all those years ago..." "And where-" "Okay enough reminiscing, let's go!"

Heading through the halls and up the stairwells security was almost scarily low; rarely did the Miners encounter more than one bot patrolling at one time, and most cameras seemed to be turned off. "Anybody else get the feeling that Officer wants us up there?" "I wouldn't put my money on it; he was never the type to fight for himself. I'd say this is someone else's handiwork." "Any idea who it might be?" "You know more about his men than I do. Anyway, we should keep moving; there's no telling when Officer might call in reinforcements."

MEANWHILE, WITH THE FIGHTING SQUAD: The Fighting Squad entered the Tower shortly after their encounter with Red. Rex issued a warning, "Okay people, stay sharp. There's no telling what's behind this door." And they headed in, seeing the same security weaknesses as the Miners. It wasn't long before they saw a small office to the side of the stairs, which Alice bashed down with her Glove.

On the other side of the door was Zero, not very surprised. "Hello friends." Which prompted the others to raise their weapons. "Whoa there, I'm trying to help!" "And just how does working for Officer count as helping?" "Well if you bothered to look around, you'd see that this is Power and Security Room. I'm busy diverting bots away from your friends upstairs." "If Oli was here to confirm that I'd be grateful, but he's not." "So what then?" "Then I'll have to take your word for it." "That's it? No strings attached?" "No, Rex is going to stay here to keep an eye on you." "Fair enough. You might wanna get going now, your friends may need some help soon." "Why's that?" "You'll see, for now just get upstairs."

The Miners had reached Officer's Office, a fancy door with a small window. Peering through it, Venom could see the lights were all on, the chair behind the desk turned around in typical boss manner. He put his hand on the knob, and...kersmash! The door busted down, and the team ran in, weapons ready. Venom announcing with, "The jig is up, Officer! Your reign of terror is-Wait a minute...he's not even here!" "Darn it! Where the heck is he?" Oliver, being more level-headed, pointed out an object on the desk, "Maybe the note that says 'Come and face me on the roof' in big letters means something." "Oh, right. Hehe. To the roof!"

SOME DIFFERENT TIME ON AN ALTERNATE PATH: The Fighting Squad had reached the roof before the Miners, making sure they had an alternate way to escape if the base proved too troublesome. This area provided an extraordinary view of the Metropolis below, so many things to see it would be impossible to name them all. The roof itself had two towering rods to transmit signals all across the city, a metal tiled floor lay beneath them.

At this marvel of a sight, Glory cried out, "Wow! This is the most beautiful view I've ever seen! I need to get up here more often." "Quiet down, Glory. The enemy might hear you." D ordered. "Lighten up, you gotta admit this is pretty spectacular." "Both of you, be quiet. There's someone standing right over there." And indeed, there was a man standing between the rods, clad in full armor. He seemed to notice them in spite of the distance. "Oh hello...and goodbye!" Tiles on the floor opened up, laser turrets popping up and firing at the squad all in the blink of an eye. Fortunately, they were only stun lasers; unfortunately, however, the entire team was caught in the blast, leaving them at this man's mercy. "Now...where are your friends?"

c-c-c-cliffhanger attack! amazing how much more descriptive that was, eh? but then again, i did recently write an essay all descriptive like, so...anyway, are we gonna have a rooftop battle like MGS? naw, i wouldn't that cliche' or would i? this banter is getting long, so i'm gonna get to the music

*dramatic narration* a long time ago, about last week, a young man by the name of Dragoon intended to finish up a story...unfortunately, his girlfriend dumped him for another guy, leaving the young story writer unable to write after such a shock...HOWEVER, today he has decided to muster up all his righteous manliness, and write the final few chapters of his year-long work, Chapter 23: Old Flames: Part 1:

"Now...where are your friends?" A heavily armored Officer asked the five heroes before him, as though they could actually speak in this paralyzed state. Suddenly, the door to the stairs flew open as Target, Oliver, and Venom rushed through. "Officer! Put your hands in the air and lie down! Don't make any sudden moves." "Was that supposed to be joke? Because I'm not laughing. You never were good at jokes, though. Now let's finish this." He finished, reaching down to the leg of his armor. "What? No witty banter before we start?" "What would I have to say to either of you? That I didn't like being Venom's number two? That I can't stand not being in control? I don't need to. I have this city under my thumb and there's you can do about it!" "We'll see about that, old friend."

Venom drew his axe, taking a fighting stance. Target out a hand on his shoulder, "Wait, man, let me get the first shot. I don't think he fights the way you remember." "Alright then. I'll jump in if you need help." Target was about to step forward, when Oliver decided to interrupt, "And just what am I going to do?" "Try to find a way t-" Officer stopped him, firing some form of bullet, forcing the three to duck behind a transmitter rod. "I'm tired of this game! You are going to fight. Now!" "Oli, what kind of gun is that?" "Judging from the old appearance of it, and it having a chamber, I'd take a guess that its a revolver or something. As in, incredibly deadly, bullet firing revolver." "I'll try not to get hit then."

Target stepped out from behind the rod, drawing his own blasters, and twirling them on his fingers. "Now, if there aren't any more interruptions, I'd like to get this started." "Gladly."

While Officer and Target were having their duel of guns and tricks and trips, Venom and Oliver stood behind the rod, ready to jump in. "So what do you think the author's gonna do to get out of writing a fight scene?" Venom asked. "Probably have one of us do some side-job while writing small scenes of the fight." "Alright, wonder what-Hey, look!" Venom had noticed the Fighting Squad Members off to the side, pretty much in a pile of bodies. "If you want something to do, then how about you try and get them up. I'll look around and see if I can find anything useful." "On it!"

Upon reaching his disabled teammates, Oliver assessed that their nerve signals were being blocked. "Okay, lucky for you guys I Majored in Nerve Studies. All I have to do is reopen the connector ways." Starting with Alice, he said, "Now I just need to reach in and...-" Even though she couldn't move, Oliver could still see Alice rolling her eyes and giving angry looks.

Meanwhile, Target and Officer were still battling. They were keeping their distance from each other, almost evenly matched. Even though Target lacked armor and heavy firepower, his agility proved useful in avoiding Officer's armored onslaught of small lasers, electric shocks, and, of course, the revolver. In spite of all the hits he was taking, Officer's armor truly was cutting edge, and Target's laser pistols wouldn't be enough to even scratch it.

Some time into the battle, it was clear that Officer was growing impatient. Target had suffered few wounds, and was showing no signs of letting up. "I grow tired of battle. Let's up the ante, shall we?" The floor opened up, an array of weapons popping out. At this point Target could tell he wouldn't be lasting much longer. As little as he showed it, Target was hurting, and tired. He looked back, ready to signal Venom, but he was nowhere to be found. "Great, the one time I actually need him..."

Venom was busy climbing up one of the transmission rods, while he wasn't sure what was up there, he thought there might be something of use. Fortunately the rod was fairly short. On top, Venom found a computer of some sort, what it controlled he had no idea. (so how does one find out what a mysterious device does?) Hitting a random button on the machine had no visible affect for Venom to see; down below, however, a tide-turner was revealed.

The floor had opened up beside Officer, a mallet suddenly rising up and smacking him around. "What the-" Target then noticed Venom up on the rod, and radioed to him, "Venom, I don't what you're doing, but keep it up." "Gotcha, one sec." More tiles in the floor opened, more weapons popping out, including: rotating saw blades, flamethrowers, and laser guns. "Man, that must be some pretty tough armor if he's not dead." "I'd say its made of a mixture of titanium and adamantite." Oliver walked up, having finished with the others. "So are the others gonna be okay?" "They'll be fine. They're pretty numb, but they'll be moving in a few minutes." "Good. Officer's gonna be-" "Target!" Officer, having smashed the weapons, was trudging towards them, his armor looking burned and scratched, yet still strong.

"Did you really think it would that easy? That I'd be taken down by own weaponry? This armor is the strong enough to withstand even the mightiest of blows. Now, you are going-" Without a single warning, Officer stopped dead in his tracks.

Officer had just...stopped, with seemingly no explanation. By now his armor was falling off in pieces; the moment his face was free he began shouting in question and anger. Everyone was focused on him that they failed to notice Zero approaching, a remote in his hand. "You know, you really shouldn't rely on that armor so much, boss. It might just 'fall apart.'" "Zero, don't just stand there, help me!" "Haven't you figured it out by now? The prison, the robots, your armor, it was all me. It seems that someone isn't too happy with your performance." "I don't give a dang about what that stupid 'B' thinks! Why, if you hadn't interfered..."

Rex walked up while Officer and Zero were bickering, panting from the long run up. "*Huff huff* We came as quick as we could. Whew! Man, that was a long climb." Helping Rex to stand up, Target asked, "So, do you have any idea what they're talking about?" "If I had to guess, I'd say this B person is their boss. "It doesn't matter anymore! Even with my army gone, and my back against the wall, I'm still the winner." "Oh yeah, and how's that?" "With this" Officer pulled out a switch from his pocket, holding it up in the air. "This whole place is rigged with explosives. One wrong move and we all go up in flames." "Now just take it easy, Officer. We both know you aren't crazy enough to blow up a building. You'll be killed, too!" "Oh, but it would be worth it. You see, I might control the law, but the people are still skeptical. Just imagine what they'll be thinking when they see the headlines. 'Control Tower destroyed! 7 Legends still at large!'" "Come on, just think about what you're doing!" "I have, and now it’s time to say sayona-Augh!" The detonator fell out of Officer's hands, shattering on the ground.

Venom had leapt off the rod, striking the detonator out of Officer's hand before he could set it off. "Oh, so now you want a turn. Let's finish this for old times sake." He pulled out another remote, (because he has a remote storage belt or something   ) and pressed it. The floor around Venom and Officer started lowering, turning into an arena of sorts.

Alice and the rest of the Fighting Squad had finally gotten up while the floor was lowering. Approaching the others, and seeing the floor, she asked, "Okay, what did we miss?" "Well...Officer and Venom are having a cage-match fight, and we're going to watch." Hom felt that he needed to interrupt, "Ooh, and brawl! I've always wanted to be an announcer!" "Don't even think about it. The author'll be narrating this...as much as its going to kill him." Rex explained. "Aw, man..."

Down in "the Pit" as you could call it, our two combatants were having the usual pre-fight banter. "You know, I wasted a good four months of my life being your servant." "What are you talking about? We were friends. Equals! I gave you the highest position I could without breaking protocol. We made decisions, plotting to get SACT back to its former glory." "Did it ever occur to you that my vision of SACT's glory was different? I envisioned SACT as the perfect regulator, everything would go through SACT, we could control everything and everyone." "That's not what the organization was designed for. Can't you-" "This talk is meaningless! You came here to stop me, right? Then let's see if you can beat me this time. Have at you, Sna-er...Venom!"

Officer rushed at Venom, who quickly sidestepped the attack, and knocked Officer on the ground with his elbow, shaking his head in disappointment. He recovered with a swift spin kick, Venom blocking with ease. Following his recovery, Officer executed a high punch, followed by a leg sweep, knocking his opposer off balance. "And our champion is dazed! It looks like Officer is coming in for the kill! But wait! Venom has countered by vaulting over him! Officer is now-" "Hey, stop stealing my act, Hom! I'm the only narrator here! Ahem...where were we?"

Venom vaulted over Officer, grabbing his neck, and flipping him onto the ground. Getting back up, Officer commented, "You've gotten better since last time." "Well unlike some people, I don't rely on machines to do my work." "True, however there's one detail you've forgotten." "Oh yeah, and what's that?" "I never lose!" He whipped out a spare revolver from his belt...Bang!

A body lies on the floor. Silence fills the air...however it is not Venom who has taken the bullet. (*gasp*) Zero had smelled foul play, and jumped in front of the shot at the last second. "Zero! How dare y-Ah!" Venom took advantage of the confusion, and tackled Officer to the ground, restraining him with the hilt of his axe. "It's over, Officer. Just give up before you embarrass yourself even more." "*Sigh* You've certainly gotten stronger. Fine. You...win."

While Venom was finishing up with Officer, the rest of the team had already jumped in to check on Zero. Alice was the first to approach. "Zero, are you alright? How do you feel?" "Th-thanks for the help...B...sends his regards..." He, handed Alice a piece of paper; a picture of a circled B with an X drawn behind it. "Hold on, what does this mean? Who's this 'B' person?" "That's for m-me to know...and you to f-find out..." He passed out. Dead.

After the events on the Control Tower, things began to wind down. The Mayor reinstated the 7 Legends Hero Status, Venom was set to be the new SACT Chief, and Pistol decided to leave CN City (because there's no other name for it) to Target and Critical X. As one could expect, our heroes needed some R&R , and so a few days after this caper, they gathered at the Forgotten Falls HQ.

"...but we still don't know who this 'B' person is." Alice finished. "Yeah, but we don't even know where to begin." Rex pointed out. "Look, we beat Officer and restored order. The way I see it, it's time to celebrate." "Target, after all that, we really shouldn't underestimate this guy." "Nonsense, X. How about a song to calm your nerves? Ahem..." Target pulled out a guitar from the side of his chair. "...Winter, Spring...Summer, and Fall. Four Seas-" In annoyance, Oliver chucked a tomato at him. "Okay, if you really want to help us relax, just tell us one of those stories you're 'famous' for." "Hmmm...Did I tell you the one with the soap and the burlap sack?" "No." "Well okay. So this one time, me and the guys were out 'shopping' and..."

Target's voice fades out, our story coming to a close. As the (imaginary) camera pans out, we see the figure of a man swimming up to the shore, approaching the base...

yeah, incredibly short and could've been worked into the last 1, but i wanted a separate epilogue, anyway, i interconnected those endings pretty well didn't i? perhaps 1 day we will know who B is, but i need a break from long stories for now, whenever i choose to write something else it'll be a 1-shot, but we're not done with this plot-line, not by a long shot, but maybe i'll change the title of future stories...i'm just rambling now, here's the music
