I thought I might finally start that 7 Legends Origins comic from last year (Maybe the year before), back when it was just a story. No guarantees it'll be finished. I'm still waiting for someone on dA to take up the opportunity to finish my '0 Man prologue...

No guarantees it'll get past the 1st page, either. :PAnyway, I started with the cover. Starting with X. Here it is:

IMO, it's awesome. But accidently. Sort of. I didn't think he'd look that good. I just used the newly-released 9th Doctor from Doctor Who: Legacy as a reference.

Speaking of leather jackets (9th doctor wore one)
I was thinking; in one version/story arc, after X's wife is killed,
and X loses his powers, he's 40, scarred, wears a leather jacket and drives a turbo engine modified
BMW.   


And he swaps his blades for combat staffs and numb-chucks, etc.
You know. Less dangerous stuff.
He's lost his pre-cognitive abilities (but still has very good reflexes, almost super human)
and he can't risk hurting his enemies or himself to such a permanent extent.

Need For Speed Carbon and Underground 2 kinda inspired me to think of
this new look. I guess Devil May Cry (2013 reboot version) also
was a bit inspirational (Dante, main character that looks like X, wears a jacket
with the British flag on his hoodie sleeve).


Shortly after X's wife gets killed,
there is a final war between the Xtremists and S.A.C.T. (6000 S.A.C.T. VS 300 Xtremists)
and Oliver gets killed by an arrow to the chest.

We see Oliver on the ground, lifeless, with his broken glasses in his hand.
X collapses in front of him, shouting to the Xtremists,
"He wasn't supposed to be in the front line! Why didn't you protect him!?
We should've protected him!!"
And since Oliver is one of X's best/most loyal friends, it hits him hard,
especially since it was shortly after X's wife's death.

In this version, X is ruthless, more serious than ever
and only human. Lost what he was fighting for and is probably more vulnerable than
ever. Yet he looks more dangerous. 
His attitude definitely is. (No holding back with the punches.)
Guess Hom inspired him to stop letting SACT step over him.
(Still trying to figure out why X didn't stop SACT until his wife's death.
Legal issues? Trying to avoid hurting his team? I just can't think of any.
If he wanted to, I think he could have annihilated SACT
from the beginning of the Xtremists story arc, especially when there were fewer members.)

In the war, after he loses his powers, he finds himself trapped with
600 SACT (1/10th of the total from the beginning)
and being only human, he struggles to defeat them all alone, ambushed, while
maintaining health but he pulls it off with stealth, brute force and
other tactics. 
Don't know why I went off topic there.

@Undelos, what DMC games have you played so far?

And regarding Spyro, I've played
one when I was a kid but don't know the name, (was on PS1 or PS2)
as well as Spyro: A New Beginning (didn't like the game very much at least from
the amount of time I played it)
and Spyro 3 (PS1) which I liked a lot more.

Spyro 3 was just simpler, quicker to get into,
for some reason more nostalgic, childish in a better way etc.

Which ones were good/bad to you?

If you're talking about Doctor Who: Legacy, it's not that bad. It's not even a reboot. Just a non-canon game that was released shortly after the 50th anniversary. Plus, it's created by Tiny Rebel Games, not Activision, so the makers are a lot better. They ask what the players want, and they (eventually) put it in. Along with putting in their own ideas.

@X: If I get onto the comics, I'll see what I can do. You're description of X in the future reminded me of Nightwing, actually.

And there where 3 Spyro games on the PS1. Spyro the Dragon, Gateway to Glimmer and Year of the Dragon on PS1, and Enter the Dragonfly and A Hero's Tail on PS2. Plus Shadow Legacy on DS. Maybe that'd help.

As for Spyro, he started breathing more stuff in Gateway to Glimmer, he got sidekicks since... well, technically GtG (Because of Elora in the Crush and Gulp battles and more-so Hunter in the Ripto one), older in the dreaded LoS series that no true Spyro fan talk about unless needed, love interest in GtG (Remember Elora...?  ). Or AHT if you don't count Elora. Whether he wanted it or not.

As for personality... GLOB NO!
