| well if none of you know this fungi it one of those we were are worred about it now why i made this slow day back on topic Cordyceps the fungi has taken a new evultion to infect a bug now to possibly you that may not be anything to worry but to the cdc and the goverment it worrying becaus it has over 400 bug that it can infect think about it it can infect bugs then animals then us that why were worried |

| Actually, i have heard of these strange plants, the science behind them is pretty creepy. Allow me to explain In a really nerdish way: Out of the 400 species in the genus, all of these parasites make their homes inside the bodies of others—mostly in insects but some even in other fungi. Not all of these parasites are the evil zombie-makers you might think. A few species of Cordyceps have medicinal value. One of these fungi, Cordyceps subsessilis, has been used to derive immunosuppressive drugs used in organ transplants. But some species of Cordyceps are indeed body snatchers—they have been making real zombies for millions of years. Boom, Science. Just goes to show, if zombies ever take over the earth, this is how it will happen.  |

| also i would like to say somthing else with this peaple acluely eat them not the medicin kind he kind that infect bugs and mind controle them and we all know what ganna happin in a few 100 years evlution everything going to evolve it may eolve to us |

| Oh.. well that's a pretty cool thing... I mean, if it's used in medicine, Wouldn't there be a lot more reports of it taking people over?? Well i guess if we want to start an apocalypse we know how right? I just imagine me becoming the taxi driver in sherlock.. But instead of poisoning them, I'd feed them this... seems legit.  |
