This is a short story to hype for a drawing I'm making.
Swords clash in the middle of a dark storm, the rain drops tossed around back into the air. One of the swords is surrounded by a blue aura, The other was completely red. In the dark the one with the red sword was shrouded, but his eyes were glowing red as they pierced through. The other had glowing blue eyes, the soulless eyes that were still. You could say they were like water. All you can see in his eyes were your own reflection.
This man, was nothing special. He was like all other humans who were battling Fuse, except he didn't want to save the world. What he wanted was to see the expressions and emotions that could only be seen in wars. He was a well trained swordsman, he was more of a street styled swordsman. Relying on not just his own skills, but also using his defective nano Bloo.
In his head he could hear voices, people told him not to face the Fusion Samurai. He didn't listen, he was determined to see what a samurai would look like in defeat.
"It's suicide, what kind of motivation is that anyways?"
"I can't tell whether you're a wolf in sheep's clothing or a tamed wolf, They're both just as dangerous."
"That nano is toxic, he'll slowly start to ruin you. You can't handle the excess fusion matter"
"You were always the one smiling, even if those around you were cut into pieces."
A slash cuts through the rain, blood drips as it mixes with the water. The man fell back in agony as the Fusion stood over him leaving it's shadow.
The man slowly got up as he got in his stance. His exhaustion was obvious and his eye didn't change, he had the same stare. The stare that's empty no matter how much you smile.
The Fusion lowered his sword.
"Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die."
The fusion went for the stab. He blocked it but was pushed back, without realizing he was near a ledge. As he slowly fell he took out his hover board and crashed onto a near by wall as he grabbed on and slid down to a lower ledge. He healed himself with his other nano, Grim.
"This is the way total hopelessness feels? I can't see through my eye. I lost to the Fusion and now I'm too tired to climb."
The bloo nano shows up holding a blindfold.
"Don't fight for something like facial expressions, fight to become stronger. Fill your hollow body with a soul."
He stood up and put on the blindfold but only covering one eye. In his other hand he took out a pistol, he was ready to change.
