A few days ago, I had asked Jake if he wouldn't mind allowing our art contest to bleed over into the rest of the community of FusionFall (whatever that is still left) to keep the momentum going as well as giving a bit of a challenge to ours.

He finally messaged me today asking when to do it.


So, now I come to you guys.

You guys up for it?

I was even planning this time to offer a cash reward for it.............in the form of a Pre-Paid visa card though. I believe I found a vendor that ships worldwide for those that live over the pond.

The cash amount I haven't decided on yet, but the grand prize isnt gonna be a flimsy $25. I was thinkin' probably $50 maybe.
I'll have to give it some thought. I want to make it really enticing for the community to participate.

EDIT: Also, 2 problems with the $50 thing.

1. You'll have to convert it to pounds.
2. That's only a mere £29.36 here.

Do you know how much stuff I can get with almost £30? Not much that I want. Food, yes. DVDs, yes. Pencils, yes. Games, not many new ones. Well, maybe PC games, but there aren't many I want.  

But I need new 3DS games, Jordan. I only have 2. I need an excuse to use that thing again other than StreetPass.  A Wii U plus Mario Kart 8 would be nice, but I doubt Undelos would go that far.

Sometimes. You do have to get work done, but you're also allowed to take a break. Best to take multiple short breaks than gigantic long ones, otherwise your art quality may go down a little, or lots of ideas pile up in your head that you just wish your brain had a recycling bin.

Plus, in school/college, you have to learn all about these long-dead artists that are still good, but none of them have the art style or inspiration you're looking for, but you HAVE to choose one anyway.

I just draw, and draw more, and hope that i'll get better from the advice i recieve, or at least just from trying new things...

I'm pretty lazy when i haaave to do something though xD

But if i'm suppossed to be doing something else, i draw pretty good

50 American dollars sounds like a lot of money regardless of
the exchange rate (btw by my logic, British stuff is probably more expensive since the
Great British Pound is the strongest currency I think and so on conversion would yield more value and so
I think if I ordered something from the U.S., it would probably be cheaper than buying
from here in the UK....but then there's shipping charges that could cancel it out lol)
and I've said before that most contests should just be for fun
but whatever floats everyone's ship.
It's a reward in itself seeing the finished art work, personally.

I won't officially participate (as in, I won't win even if I did have the highest number of votes, ratings
or comments or whatever)
as I don't want to take anything from anyone and I'm only in it for
the fun.
And the art. But I might draw anyway but just not entered as an official contestant.

@Dane, you're technically an artist if you at least draw...  
Whether you're good or not is irrelevant and of course we're not talking about
the occupation artist either. If you draw, you can consider yourself an artist
or an 'art enthusiast' or an aspiring artist....whatever you want to call it.
I don't call myself an artist in real life though as it may cause confusion.
I just sometimes say "I can draw".

I do agree that 50$ seems like a lot of money,
I mean undelos, if you want to do that i surely won't hold you back,
Maybe just something like an itunes card?
Like 25$ at most, it seems fitting considering this will kinda revolve around music (and ff of course)...
Then even people who wouldn't be able to get mail, you could send the code to them via a private message or something?

But x you should enter ^.^ i mean, i don't think i'll win, but i'm mostly doing it because i've always wanted to do something like this, and i think having it in a competition form will get me more excited to try really hard and make something really good

so at least do it for that aspect
