This is a little something I've been thinking about after class and when I'm not drawing, instead of "Gods fighting Gods" I wanted to rewrite everything. More about places that are abandoned and all that. So it's like a post-apocalyptic/nuclear aftershock thing that happens but not by nuclear bombing, meteors. It's only in some city capitals though so they're quarantined and no one's allowed in. Or our. It's more on the sci-fi side than anything else. You guys know I like writing stuff down before I draw, I already drew some stuff but I keep remaking stuff till I like it. Most of it I keep to myself because I don't feel like sharing it even if I like it a lot.

So yeah I took my characters and changed the story again. I wanted something more emotional. I wanted to make the main girl character more innocent in a way. So yeeaahh
Kids and babies were the only ones who survived but became mutants (no monsters but like they have advanced abilities.) So what happens when you leave a whole city to 20 or so kids? Idk because this story is after they're all 20 yrs old so we see how young adults and teens handle being alone in their own city.



Anyways, I don't have classes tomorrow so maybe I'll get to draw a cover or something.

So basically, it's like one of those post-apocalyptic stories of someone trying to fit in.

Set a post apocalyptic world sort of like The Last of Us, kind of.  


Sounds like it'll be a pretty cool story. 

I see X in the London picture.  
No really, that dude has an X shaped thing....
either t-shirt design or holster-type straps across his torso.
I assume the hairy guy next to him is Oliver.  
But that would be ironic since in one of my story arcs,
Oliver gets killed by an arrow.  (To the chest, not the knee before you ask...  )
And Oli would have bigger biceps than X...  (What would the world be coming to???  )

What I tend to do is, I make different versions of story arcs
kinda like a 'What If' mode thing.
Like X's gf dying instead of X in the final few Xtremists....episodes? I guess you can call it...
It gives you so much freedom to explore alternative ideas without
ruining the original story.  

Luckily for Grumpz, he's so good at what he does
that he can put thought to paper probably more easily than most of us.

The important and interesting parts of my stories are the people
and organisations more so than the places.
I always emphasise the battle between the Xtremists and S.A.C.T. and evil aliens.

So instead of Gods fighting Gods, what is this version going to have, Grumpy?

I was inspired by Tekken 5 to consider having alternative versions of X.
Rather than just X and his evil clone, I think since X is metaphorically an angel,
there should be a devil version like Devil Jin from Tekken.

ok so basically,  when the meteors hit these cities they released a new form of radiation that kills all the adults, leaving only children and babies alive. Babies become self sufficiant and don't need their mothers. Basically leaving kids to live alone in a city but the scientists send robots to watch over them and teach them what they need to learn. (The kids part isn't important, I skip to their adult years.) The radiation can still kill them so they have to wait for there to be some sort of way to get rid of the radiation. Even though some of them already start dying off, the mutated adults don't want people from outside the city getting near them, making it harder for people to get any progress on a cure. The mutated humans end up wanting to stay mutants and keep their inhuman abilities. Except for three people.

One of them is the main character, the second is Melody (Changed her appearance again) and a small orphan girl whose parents died (They were mutant adults too but died from the radiation after living in it for too long.) Melody doesn't live in the same city as them though so he meets her after ---v

So the main character who likes exploring leaves the city even though he's not allowed to but is captured by the scientists where he meets Melody for the first time. A girl who was also a mutant survivor but she could neutralize a person's mutant abilities by making contact with them but it only lasts for a few seconds. So they're both sent back into the city and are told to get DNA from each of the citizens. After being told that they want to cure them all the mutant citizens turn on them and try to get rid of all 3. 

etc.  People who are afraid of losing their powers and are also afraid of change and what the scientists are really after

That sounded complex.  
Or maybe it's 'cause I read it with music in the background. 
If the curing touch lasts for seconds, what's the point lol?
Why would she still be important?
Or is it because the scientists can find a permanent cure by analysing her
biology?
