If you're rushing production then I won't be if any use lol, I'm stuck having to study
as much as possible for the rest if my life...or at least until I get a job. :p
If this is just an early 'lets come up with cool stuff that we could use sometime far in the future'....sure I guess I could give some ideas.

I recommend not considering a generic medieval styled game because that's been done countless times before.

The only plausible thing you could do in this point in time is write a story, draw some designs and play around in the free version of the Unity game engine.
If I had a job and finished my education...heck I'd start making this single handed...but obviously, you can't make a game without scripting knowledge.
I don't know any scripting or coding.
You might find it interesting experimenting with objects and default scripts in Unity.
I know I'm sounding like this I'd a dead project but it never was alive.
But it is useful to get the designing done.
Let me put it this way:
I want to direct a movie but that's going to be impossible for the moment, therefore I shall write several stories in my notebook and maybe one day, get credited for writing a good story which may get published then directed with.
I can't even finish peoples' forum ranks let alone mmo graphics, I just don't have the time but I'm sure that's not a problem, you can sketch stuff.
But really....if you have school...wait until you finish your education lol.

Yeah, cutscenes! Like FusionFall! Except that when FF started, it only had 10 cutscenes (I always thought 12 cause I thought there would be another cutscene after you beat Fuse).

Well Like x said. you should start with the simple stuff like the plot, story, charachter design etc. well you got the artists here to draw the characters and maps to give a guide to whats gonna happen lol. I mean fusionfall has a lot of simple sketches and drawings done of the game.
