My opinion? He needs assistance running them.

2.) If we're gonna do this, We're gonna have to avoid letting Immature people in.

I know that goes against the goals of Project R but I think If we go through only trustful sites where we know there are MATURE players then I think we can pull it off without having issues with spammers.

Those spammers caused another failed event. Hope ours doesn't go that way though...

A summary of the event from my perspective:

To begin, I was late due to playing Super Smash Bros. with my family and losing track of time. So after logging in, I picked up some future stuff to wear and headed for Genius Grove. Between getting there, I set up this thread, logged into our chat as well as FusionMOD's chat to keep up with first hand developments of the event.

After asking FusionMOD where the Wormhole was, I arrive to find about a good 20 players hovering around the Wormhole.

I could see that Oliver and Mei were already there.
I didnt see anyone else.
There were only a few players getting impatient with the waiting. I looked around and from what I could tell Jake wasnt there. However, He did post every so often in the chat room.

From the posts, it was almost rumored that the event was going to be cancelled. He made sure to let it be known that he was still trying.

After believing that we were gonna get the ACUTUAL past, I went to go drop off some stuff out of my inventory. After getting back, Oliver was gone.

Mei was still there.
STILL dont know why she didnt clear space in her buddy list when I pointed it out but oh well..... Glare

Anyways, I figured since.........once again.............it looked like there was no one there to assist him and crowd control, I decided to check to see what the word was in the FusionMOD chat and try to help out if at all on my end. But after thinking about it, I think Zerowing was there the entire time...
dunno..

At first a waiting time of 10-15 minutes was thrown around in the chat...but that was false.

Then there was the rumor that jake was going to Give up.
That was false too.

Finally Jake managed to pull it off.

He warped back to the wormhole and Gave all of us the go-ahead.

We had to warp to a Prof. Laservoid to get to the past.
Some had trouble spelling it.
Others ran into the issue of the person not exsisting. I just figured it was due to the Future being accessed which by the way was the issue I was running into.

After I had switched from the game screen to the Chat to find a solution to the problem, I switched back to see that most of the crowd was gone.
There was a few stragglers left so I decided to help them go to the Future too.
They seem like they were just passing by until they saw the lot of us sitting at the wormhole. I think all of them got through.....

Which horrid Hindsight whispers that it was because I helped them through, that ultimately ruined the
event...

Anyways, that's when Kyle showed up.

After warping to Laservoid, I saw that everyone was in the Time Machine lab dancing. However, I didnt see kyle, Mei, or Jake there and since Kyle went ahead of me, I warped to him instead.
I still dont know how everyone got out of there.
I looked around the time lab and didnt see anything but they were nowhere to be seen. So I warped to where they were and come to find out, they were outside.

Now I do have to say, before the spammers came, Everything up to this point was great! Jake let us off to go look around. I got to see where it all started.

It's almost nostalgic to see that first area in which you started your game.

I wish I could have recorded it......but My Terabyte harddrive was downstairs at the time. I ONLY record when that is plugged in.

Anyways, That was the high point of the event. There was a race afterwards but I was too busy switching between the game and chat windows to notice if Jake had crashed or not.....in which he didnt and he showed us the route to race.

I kinda gave up and decided to watch the race. Also found out who Zerowing was in game.

And that was pretty much it.

Since after that those low life spammers came in and started to ruin the event.

I dont get them.

They want to ruin fun stuff that players try to put on..........................AND THEN HAVE THE NERVE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT HOW THE GAME SUCKS!?

Like I said to Kyle before......for our event, we will have to GO AROUND CN's forums. We will have to spread word of the event WITHOUT THE USE of CN's boards.

I just get the feeling they waited about an hour for the event to come back it was just no......I was not going to wait an hour for a rocket war a race and a speech just no...I hope stuff like this doesn't happen in our event considering we aren't doing major stuff like they tried to do thats how things end up pretty bad...

Wasnt really a success.. Was boring for those who went there before Sleep

and annoying because of spammers and the race was horrid
but overall he did have a good plan and I give him credit for actually even doin part of the event Cool

@Dane: Glad to see I'm not the only one who likes that movie!

Why don't we ask Jake if we can be his security guards? If we convince the FF team to give us, and only us, for the duration of the event somehow, it just might work.

And an off-topic update about my earlier post, my girlfriend finally replied earlier this morning. I forgot she has a job. And still working tomorrow. Didn't say anything about Tuesday, though. Forcing me to sleep in.
