In no particular order:
1- Pidgey evolutions
They've always been that hardy pokemon that you get first that has your back forever. I always name my pidgey Valor.
2- Magikarp/Gyrados
Becuase its just impressive to have A Gyrados thing pop out of your pokeball. Thats why.
3- Umbreon
Another hardy pokemon that has the plus side of learning Psychic
4- Haunter
Its Purple, spiky, Adorable, dark and scary all in one. It can also learn Psychic and is currently the leader of my current team.
5- Delcatty
it can learn Rain Dance, Shockwave, and Sunny Day. Its a great tag team pokemon
