| As Zero said, it's perfectly fine to make a fan game or whatever of anything you like, as long as you don't make money from it. (I'm not sure if advertising or donation money counts though.) I think parody games that have very different aspects might also get away with it, even making money. Let's say I made a game about the Xtremists. If I used models and characters from FusionFall/CartoonNetwork, then it wouldn't be allowed to make me or anyone else money unless I bought the rights or gained permission or something. But if I used my own models BASED ON our characters fairly loosely from FF, with SACT renamed to something else, have different uniforms, etc. it could make money legally. But who makes money from a fan game anyway lol? Even the loosest of adaptions tend to be free out of good will and stuff. Although...some malicious game developers could obviously have other ideas with their viruses....or whatever.  |

We started planning in late November |
