Thats me, Aurora Winters. Today was supposed to be an amazing day. The day of my escape. But instead, I brought chaos to the mortal world and immortal world alike. Reason why im a refugee is because im a mix of mortal blood and immortal blood. not something you see everyday. My parents were executed in front of my own eyes when i was 5. Why were they you may ask yourself. well, they wanted to see me suffer. they wanted to see if i would fight back. when they thought i wasnt, i was just waiting for the right time. Jennifer is my older sister. my only family left.shes a mortal, so the ruler doesnt care if her life is lost. hes a cold hearted monster if you ask me. but then again, i cant really say that. he spared my life. but i was locked up for 14 years. i heard footsteps running down the alley towards me and Jennifer.she pushed me behind her and i ran. i had tears threatening to fall, but i held them back. i couldnt cry, not now. but, before i get to that, lets sart from the beginning.
