Subject: 3D Easy Model Poseur Adventure Fri Feb 03, 2012 9:13 am
Well I just exhaulsted myself. I had just spent an hour and a half searching on info on this 3D Model Poseur I heard about.
I heard about this program in one of the FusionFall groups on dA. It is called Miku Miku Dance. This is primarily a 3D Poseur program that you can use to animate 3D models and.........well......make them dance.
EVEN THOUGH, that wont be our intended purpose behind it.
There are already default models that come with it. Now you CAN manipulate the default models.........but I couldn't find out What program that the avid Builders use. I had no heart to use the one that some say they used because, It may be called 3D Custom Girl..........but it is made for Hentai building. All you need to know is that Hentai is NOT 13 and below.
This Miku Miku Dance may be designed for just making models dance but I can see it can be used for more than just that.
This Program has an easy to use interface which makes character movement relatively easy. X, if you are reading this, If you find out about the lK Bones in the model, just moving those things will move the entire arm or leg and the bones that are attached to that lK bone seem to move in a realistic fashion. So if you do manage to download and tamper in this program, You'll see the relative ease that this Program provides.
Plus, after you grind out several minutes of mind numbing tutorals like I did, you'll get to a point where you can start using the program with a bit more ease. You can find the Program Here
Scroll down to the bottom and get the latest version.
Now the reason why I mention this is because it WOULD be cool if we could get our characters from FusionFall and Animate them. Now I did try a google search for that to see if anyone had tried to embark on that quest as well. Turns out, that was a thought that someone had on some forum board but other than that, nothing. Guess it always has to start somewhere first before it can become mainstream.
Here is the Website for English Support for the program
Here is a Link to a Youtube video about the Basics of it This is a link provided in the "ReadMe" file in the program files. I wont mind if you mute the sound half way through. I know I did....
And to show you what I mean about using it for other purposes, This is a short but random video that I Found. Thing is, I hosted it up on Xff 13+ because there is an Undergarment shot that the editor did not mean for there to be in it. It was simply the physics of the clothes operating that's all. Dont worry, If I didnt point it out, You wouldn't have noticed.
Here it is
This one just so happens to be clean. Funny and Uncalled for........but clean ll ll V
Feel free to pick up where I left off at. I'm Bushed...

Blender is very versatile and is free. However, is relatively difficult to use for a beginner. I would also need character models from FusionFall; I have tried using a program called 3D Ripper DX which aims to extract 3d models. (or at least scan and replicate the exterior) It's confusing getting this thing to work, I think it only works for Direct X games and I don't think FusionFall uses Direct X. (since it uses the Unity engine in a browser)

3D Ripper? I'll have to check this out. Is it open source?
Then again nevermind. I'll find out. I just pulled up the page...

You were right. The Web Player is the real enemy here. I dont know where the Game Files temporarly save at, if it is even loaded up in the computer at all.
However, I'm not sure exactly how to access the Temporary Internet files on my system and If I were, I wouldnt be sure that I have gotten there and just isnt seeing the Game Files.

Mine were in C:\Users\[your pc username]\Documents\3DReaperDX and then maybe the folder 'Frames' which contains .3DR files which I can't open.
