Riolu may have tiny little spikes on his wrists but he is less than human sized..

On the other hand, i was refering to legionaries being the best but even they can be defeated..

Also, Brawl tended to go with characters from the newest game in Nintendo's series. (Only real exceptions were Toon Link, and any character from Mario Galaxy. Despite Mario Galaxy being released a about a year before Brawl). And the newest Pokemon game at the time was Diamond/Pearl.
