ZippCast.com on the horizon

I cant stand those Grey things that (for whatever reason) YouTube thought was a Good Idea so I started searching for other video sites and after going over the MetaCafe's and the Veoh's I found a Site called ZippCast.

ZippCast is, in a sense, a YouTube Duplicate with the old 2008 channel design and such.

Now they are recently adjusting to a huge influx of 25,000 new members to their servers so they will be Buggy and slow.
But I'm happy. Simply because I have a channel again with an awesome background.

Now searching their site is......well.........like pulling teeth and their selection of videos is not exactly the best but from what I've been seeing that people have been saying.........ZippCast is like YouTube was when it was young and not part of a major corporation.

In other words, ZippCast is like YouTube before they sold out.

I have High hopes for ZippCast.
I think one day they will take the internet by storm and be what YouTube gave up on.

You're really taking this seriously!
Well I don't blame you, removing the ability to customise your background was a FATAL flaw.
They won't even admit they were wrong.
My YouTube usage has fallen by maybe 80%. (Despite there being lots of awesome movie trailers out ._.)
Any way, I found a petition on Google (ironic Very Happy

) about it and it's almost reached its target, so there's still hope.
If not, then I guess we can give the site you mentioned, a chance. It's literally a clone of the old version of the site
before I registered for YouTube. Rolling Eyes
