Fraps (from "Frames per second") is a universal benchmarking, screen capture,
and real-time video capture Windows application that can be used with games
using DirectX or OpenGL graphic technology. It is commonly used to determine

player capable of decoding the AVI container format) or transcoding to other
video formats (with the use of the right software). The Fraps video codec manages
to capture videos with minimal impact on game performance, as it has been
optimized to achieve compression higher than uncompressed RGB, resulting in
smaller filesizes, though the lossless format is considerably less space-efficient
than more heavily compressed lossy video formats such as DivX. This is because
encoding on-the-fly to a high-compression format such as DivX would have a large
negative impact on game performance (as of 2007) and only a very fast hard drive
could record the immense amount of data produced in using uncompressed video.
The Fraps format is a compromise of the two.

Fraps 3 - New features and a new look!
- Fraps is now compatible with Windows 7 and the latest DirectX 11 games.

It's the name or logo of the thing that pretty much ruins the video or picture. Sometimes it's transparent and in the middle, other times it isn't transparent and appears somewhere else.

yeah and this full version is great cuz there isno lag and its fast and records HD trust me.

o no the logo for it shows up only for 3 seconds on my videos so no water mark its really that good...

the only 2 downsides are that u cant usr your own music (theres choices for the music most are bad).. and it takes a bit for it to upload..

there is an advanced feature where you can drag where you want to record it helps focus on where i want it and keep my vids ad free

no thats even worse then trying to learn fraps bandicam is more complicated to i have tried all 3 so far i think ezvid is the winner i even tried hyper cam.. they all are a lot harder and the video is some times screen shotty
