I say layout, the colors, the background, alll of it, why?
backgrond makes it look like a CN forum no a ff one,
colors? too bright, they dont go right.

So are you suggesting that Xtreme should have a couple solid colors that make up most of the background?

Yeah, whenever I think of the mods, I think of a council and Alien X, who's a Celestialsapien.

I just put 'Celestialsapien', replaced 'sapien' with 'Council', and replaced the 's' in 'Celestial' with an 'X'.

1) Layout - can you be a bit more specific, there aren't that many
layout combinations you can have for a forum, if you know what I mean.
(Especially with Forumotion.)
Me and Jake (from FMHQ)
have planned to create new themes sooner or later. (There's no rush, so don't count on it
at the moment. Still, they're only layouts, most forum layouts are almost the same in so many ways.)

2) Background - it's only temporary, I haven't got time to make new backgrounds.
If Undelos can make one that fits with the layout/resolution of most monitors, then
I'd be happy to put it on.
As long as it is Cartoon Network/FusionFall related and not too dark.

3) The colours? - What? I love the colours! Don't know about the rest of you
but I feel it makes the forum look lively and friendly.
Go to XFF13 (Xtreme FusionFall's 13+ forum....)
and see how dark the atmosphere is.
How many members? 20 or so. And none really active.
People just prefer friendly, bright environments.

Solid colours?
Well, it would be nice if me or Undelos or someone could come up with
a working (fitting) background that works with all resolutions, that's relatively bright
and has Cartoon Network and FusionFall elements.

I personally really like the alternating
blue to grey post colours, that's why I kept it at that after experimenting.

I believe the bright colour scheme is one of the reasons Xtreme FusionFall
is so unique. (Among other things.)

Just to fit with everyone's preferences, one day we me be able
to get a theme changer so people with dark preferences
may choose that and the bright preferences (the majority including me)
can choose that.
And anyway, they're not eye blindingly bright...
that's why I was careful with the tone/shade and made it slightly darker for convenience.)

EDIT: I realised something....
I use a program called F.lux which removes that awful bright and blue tinted
glow from most monitor screens (some don't have it that bad, I went on a different computer
withOUT F.lux and there was hardly any kind of a bright blue tinted glow and Xtreme looked great! As usual.)
but on a lot of screens/monitors, (tends to be mostly the larger screens, netbooks don't tend to have this problem in my experience) Xtreme seems a bit uncomfortable to view.
It could just be my eyes, I dunno but I'd recommend using F.lux, not just for the forum
but like anything computer related, because that program REALLY helps calm down the
stupid blue glow of the screen. (Trust me, you gotta try it, especially if the monitor hurts your eyes at night.)

I hope that makes some of you understand why I like the colour scheme,
something F.lux does to compliment the colours, I don't know what it is, but
the blue tinted glow is virtually gone and that makes the viewing experience MUCH better.
Could be that slightly orange tint that F.lux gives the screen. (VERY VERY VERY VERY SUBTLE, not noticeable AT ALL
unless you compared two IDENTICAL monitors on the same brightness/contrast/colour settings, one with F.lux on and one without F.lux)

You'll see what I mean. Xtreme becomes MUCH more comfortable to the eyes.
If I made the colour scheme (blue and grey)
a bit darker, it wouldn't look as good and if I chose green instead of blue...
well, green isn't as popular, so a lot of you wouldn't like it. (Maybe me included.)
Slightly dark blue is the way to go. Either that or red I guess.
But red has a kind of subtle psychological effect on behaviour,
besides, we've had the red colour scheme for a while anyway.

how about xlr and some other people like undelos make awesome backrounds
