I couldn't help myself.

I've been trying to save my Bristol board and draw on large sheets of paper BUT I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!



GOD I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE BRISTOL BOARD!

Its liek my anti-drug....it maeks me happeh..

So! with my weak minded-ness now obvious...I will now use the remainder of my boards to finish up sume promises and requests starting off with Dr. OZw of course.

I originally finished it on another type of paper, but that paper only takes graphite well but not ink and it takes WAYYYY TOOO LONG to clean up Graphite so yeah. Gonna remake it in my old manner: Draw it out in 4H pencil, outline it in ink, and then possibly add color.

I've only got about 21 boards left.

Guess I got to go buy another pack or two...



(Before you ask, Bristol board is like THE MASTER CHAMPION OF INK. it's tough, durable, and is used for Charcoal, Marker, ink or whatever scribbley mess you feel like using it for!)

I'd have to look in WHSmiths sometime to see if they have some. I was there on Friday to get some tape and stopped to see what sketch books they had (I was at least £1 short :sigh: ). I think I have a sketch book somewhere. Either in my old bedroom or behind one of the sofas in the living room which also used to be my "Play area" as a kid.

Ok, skipping to the point. I didn't see any, but I might check again after college someday.

Yeah that's it. I've been buying from Strathmore. Haven't found any complaints from it though.

Honestly, If all you do is work with typical line art done in graphite, You may not need Bristol board. Bristol board is for..........messier art mediums such as charcoal, paint, and ink.

But if you already have some, then go ahead. Knock yourself out! (not literally though)

@Undelos: In that case I don't think I have any. I have charcoal and paint but not Bristol Board. I'm not exactly a world-class painter and I haven't used charcoal in so long I've forgot how to use it properly.

The Triple threat match is something that Le Ramme just made up..............That just might become a thing now.

@ Oliver: I think a good sketch pad would do it for you. I got one myself that a friend game me. It's pretty big so It fits my need. 11" x 17" (279mm x 355mm) to be exact.
