Subject: Shrink the Obnoxiously large Signatures Please Fri Nov 30, 2012 7:02 am

I know you guys have lots of stuff you like to put in your signatures......but it's time to point out the cold truth and say..........they're getting TOO RIDICULOUS.

I mean, c'mon guys.

If someone just responds with just a sentence but you have to scroll half a page down just to get to the next post...........then dont you think that there is a problem?

You guys that know who you are should really shrink the size of your signatures. Put only one picture please or 2 at the most. Please dont space between stuff either. Also, I'm not sure about anyone else...........but I have never clicked on any one of the videos in you guy's signatures. Maybe Mei's just once but it was only for a couple of seconds. So think carefully if you want to put those in your signature........even though I'd prefer if you didn't

This honestly has been bothering me for a while now. I dont see why it didn't bother you guys, especially the ones that had the large signatures.

I hope I'm not coming across as mean but seriously,
its just obvious that these things are just too big.

Lol yeh I totally agreed didnt want to point it out since Mei had like 5 pictures on there. D's got 2 pics and a video I think, I think mine's a little too large.

Yes. I recommend with Image signatures to be 225 pixels high and 550 pixels wide

I accidently clicked on the video that was in Ray's sig, but the guy who posted it made it unavailable in England.

Lol I think yours is the smallest on here.

Actually apart from people that dont have anything in their signatures, I believe mine is the smallest.
I purposely design all my signatures to be narrow but wide to conserve space. The only exception was my signature with Rajeta in it.

Okay let's just say this:

My screen is 15 in x 6 in.
It's a pretty decent size too so I see it as this........if it can't fit on my screen , then it's too big.

Grumpy's, Hom's and even X's signatures were on the big side but they were forgivable since
1) their post could fit on the screen comfortably

2) they didnt take up 2 ^1/2 screen sizes.

So I guess from now on, X's signature will be a template.
You can have a large signature up to that point.................but if it cant fit on a decent sized 6 inch screen, then it may be too big.

Besides, some of you guys didnt think about the fact that some people that come on the site dont have the same screens as you. Theirs might be alot smaller................so they'd HAVE to scroll down a lot in order to read the entire thread.

My screen is 11x7 inches. My screen is taller by one inch! cheers

But thinner by 4 inches. Ah well!

Me, Grumpy, X, And Undelos signatures are the appropriate size.

I think you should see Mei's she hasn't changed it yet either..

Hom's is like the limit. But at least it's not big that it won't fit on my screen.

some signaturesare really too big especially for a guy who likes to read topics.....sooo much scrolling

The signatures are starting to get a little big again.
Remember, we forgive a lot here so if a typical post you make cannot fit comfortably on a computer screen WITHOUT scrolling.....then it's too big.

I got 2 sigs they are both around medium sizes is that ok ?

Finally! I thought I was gonna have to bump this thread myself! Which tbh, I could've done...

VegaPunk, your signature space size is just about acceptable but if you can resize it down slightly, that would be better. Also, that awesome XTREME signature of yours has slightly big transparent gaps that weren't necessary since you can just add a space before the image instead of making a large invisible graphical gap.
Pawnzor/The Target seems to currently have a huge signature space. :O

Tips to reduce sizes:
- cropping
- resizing
- spoilers
- rearranging graphics in a smaller but neater signature design.

I'm on my phone but I've tried to fix some sig spaces.
If you people are unhappy with the changes, feel free to change them again.
Just try not to waste space with big pictures. Smile
