Subject: EBrowser - FF's almost official web browser Thu Feb 14, 2013 12:23 am
Hey guys! If any of you know Eperty123, then that's good! I'll introduce you his browser! It's a pretty nice (IE) browser, but neat and optimized for FF. Well.. That's what he claims. And I've tried it! Nothing bad about it, except for a little thing... Crash.. Oh well.. That's Unity related.
Review:
-----
EBrowser
Let me introduce EBrowser!
The official FusionFall Web browser!
This is not just an ordinary web browser as you may think. I’m sorry for not posting more pictures. But when you try it, you’ll like it!
Features:
- Friendly and neat user interface. - Easy to use + built-in updater and download! - Built-in music player for better gaming experience! - No more poup login screen! The game login is the only thing you’ll face.
Requirements: - Unity Webplayer. - .Net framework 4 + - Internet access. - Optional: Some music. - Min. 8 mb for all EBrowser’s contents. - Windows XP minimum! - Flash Player 9 + for other browsers.
1.1: - Fixed the support of music, wav and wma have now been added. - Fixed the “Display Browser” where when you click on it, it’ll not respond anymore. - Added new options under “Browser”, be sure to check it out! - New updater system! Much more detailed. - Minor improvements. - Able to see the changelog within the updater!
1.2: - Fixed a bug iMan007 from a forum reported. - New login system with auto login mode. - Able to delete cookies and history within the program! - Minor fixes - Small improvements.
1.3: (Newest) - Added a chat room where you can report bugs or talk with other EBrowser users. - Some few fixes. - A few spell mistakes have been fixed.
And more to come!
Notice:
When exiting the game (from the game, the loading screen will appear. This is completely normal because when you play in Chrome, Firefox etc., the game window usually close, so to fully exit just close the program.)
----
If you want to try it out, check his site. http://eperty123.x11s.info I think he'll make a demo of it tommorow... But I'm not sure...

Wow. That's actually pretty neat!
I wonder if he can optomize the browser to behave when we have to switch between the game window and a chat room when the chat goes down in game. THAT would be a good selling point for FusionFall players. Or, at least the ones here.

I can tell him that if you wish. But you could suggest him some features by emailing him. But that chat thing, um.. Are you talking about getting a website where people can chat? If so, then that's a good idea! XD

Great! If you still doubting it, then try virus scanning it. XD It's pretty handy when it comes to battle scenes! I usually listen to "Given Up" when I do.

Well... Are you sure that it has a keylogger or a virus, why don't you ask the folks if their account has been hacked after using EBrowser?
It doesn't contain any keylogging... If it did, then Eperty would actually just ignore me and continue to hack other's accounts.... Report him if you believe he's lying..

What I meant was, When the chat goes down in game, members here will go to the chat page here on Xtreme.
However, When you type in the Chat window and then try to switch back to the Game window, The window will do something crazy like go into another menu or the entire window would shift in another area on your screen.
It's actually quite annoying.
I just wonder if it can be corrected by editing the game's Browser source code.
But of course, I DO have other Ideas he could try that people would love.
I'm going to leave him a comment to see if he can come here and talk to us.

Yea. But there's a thing I really want, and it is the whole files. With them, I'll be able to see what Unity do require when logging in, playing the game, chatting, etc. But scripting in Unity is almost like the program I used to create EBrowser.

Hey guys! Just want you to know that I'm still working on my project. I've been busy with school stuff and haven't had time to write on the forums. But I'd made an official site for EBrowser.
http://ebrowser.x11s.org
Thank you.
