| Giant pictures should be avoided, especially if they don't resize on preview. When I post memes for example, I try to reduce the size to around 320x240 or a bit more. Some people have slow internet connections, that's why. For art work that's big (you can still resize them) you can put them in spoilers. (Although I don't know if the image actually resizes it probably just appears to be resized due to HTML but I'm not sure...still better than loading massive pictures there and then.) I've noticed a few threads being unbearable slow to load because of the images.  |
