Hey guys.So here is another one of my reviews of this cool new game known as Revive i guess
Not much of a name yet but the dubbed name is Revive.
This game is truly amazing. The man does not even have professional tools yet he can make a better game than cartoon networks fusionfall heroes not to mention the fact they actually have Pro tools.
-The graphics are good not amazing.Well thats on my desktop at least
-Bit of lag with the jumping funtion. The charecter goes into a model designing form where he jumps.
-Buildings are very welll designed
-You can actually see the Scamper flying around
-The outfit looks good.Since this is a Alpha i cant say much
-The NPCS are very well designed
-Did not get to see the comabt system yet.
-Loads fast due to the fact there is not much in the game yet.
-Best of all it makes me really reminisce of the good days in Fusionfall
-The soundtrack is good.I think its remixed?
-I see a potion and boosts system along with nanos.Might we be seeing new nanos?
-FM matter and alot of elements from the orginal are there
-Map is well developed and solid
-MY BOY FUSE MADE IT TO THE PARTY.With a new form
NEGATIVES
Not much to say here since this is a alpha buuuut
-Bit annoying when i run and he keeps going for a little than stops.Minor bug.Doesnt distract me
-Idk if the fusions can move around.AGAIN this is a alpha and there most likely will be a move function for them
-When you walk sideways you camera does not move with you.Bit distracting but again this is a alpha
Overall: Great job bro.I will be keeping a eye on this
Now than i am not being biased towards the game because i know wiltilt but because i can see the amount of work that was put forth into this game
TUT FOR INSTALL AND DL:
Okay so this is the link http://www.mediafire.com/?3x9v99k6iy0q3u9
Downlaod it.It should of showed up as a rar file in your downloads or where ever your stuff is at
Le open it.You should see these files. And the read me is helpful for people who have never played fusionfall
Now than open up that "required data" folder
Inside you should see these files
Just click on the EXE file (The bottom one) And it should load the main components
And this is what pops up when you click it ANd than it laods.
Now you may notice when you exit the game this pops up in your extracter (Winrar,7zip) I clicked yes the first time i played but after that i found no need to do it again. It just modifies and updates the log file.
If its showing up as a word doc you probably dont have a extracter.Download one from here http://www.win-rar.com/download.html?&L=0 And thats it

i also did notice a moving "police" car around the perimeter, and i do wonder what he'll do with that mansion looking building on the outskirts, currently just has a pathway going through

It was really just a demo. But you're entitled to review anything you want. Anyway, Cartoon Network should have changed the perspective view but oh well, still a decent game. (FusionFall Heroes.) You know you can have virtually the same tools if you download the Unity game engine. But I assume CN has the full version or whatever and maybe some other programmes in addition to perfect certain aspects such as graphics, etc.
I've played around in Unity, it's pretty fun! I tried Wiltilt's game/demo and it's pretty cool.

I scanned all the .exe and .DLL files in the extracted folder and the unextracted, downloaded .rar file itself and they were all clean. (Used Virus Total.) Then I scanned the whole extracted folder with my own antivirus software and Malwarebytes too. I'm almost certain it's clean. Obviously scan yourself just in case. (No antivirus software is perfect and there's a very very very small chance Wiltilt could have accidentally added something he was not familiar with or whatever but I'm familiar with the Unity engine and there is an option to export your project as a .exe game so I'm sure his Unity wouldn't mess things up since it's a legit programme but you never know.) If anything comes up, please tell us. (Poopyfacethe3rd might have a rogue antivirus software since his 'Norton' apparently deletes the file. It may just be quarantined but I don't know. If I saw a screenshot, maybe I could say for certain if it's rogue or not.
The .rar file is 20.7mb and when extracted, the extracted folder that forms is 59.3mb. You do not need the .rar file after extraction. (But you can keep it in case if you want, obviously.)
Don't take my word for it, I recommend always always always scanning downloads. Even if they're from reputable sources. (Ever heard of Realplayer? Well it was a false positive in it's case but that's not the point. Nothing in life is certain, not even death.....or taxes.... )
Too long, didn't read?....... Bottom line: no virus. (According to my tests.) Small file size. Check it out. If you want. Looks good, Wilttilt, nice work.
@Wiltilt, if you want me to put your game demo up on Xtreme FusionFall games (with full credit to you) I'd be happy to.I'm sure there are lots of people hesitant to download a game when they can play it online with a plugin they already trust. (Even I at a young age was paranoid to download Unity when FusionFall was first released.) I know it's only a demo but bored people will play anything. (I should know....lol just kidding. )

well i can't help you, but mediafire is used for a lot of cool downloads (in particular, minecraft stuff) so, yeah, i personally don't have to worry much, as my antivirus warns me if something i download is actually harmful

I reviewed my fridge, too. Nothing to eat except a burger for my lunch... I should say today (Wha? I can't sleep!). And a suicidal block of cheese. All in all:
And no, I have no idea what you really mean when you said you reviewed your fridge. Can't be bothered to read long posts sometimes.

Okay, why have all that stuff AND the Triforce?! The Triforce can grant the wishes of whoever touches it! And I probably shouldn't have told you that. Cause I have this feeling you're going to travel to Hyrule Castle, kill the king, look for a way into the Sacred Realm, take over the castle, and steal the Triforce of Wisdom and the Triforce of Courage.
Yep, I've been playing too much Ocarina of Time.

Its just a demo of the game. Its not finished or even online for that matter.
As far as working on mac, I think so. Our site administrator is a Mac fan (or maybe safari fan. dunno.) and it worked for him so I would assume so.
But then again, it IS just an exe. file (its a program) so it should undoubtedly work.

Guys, don't forget you can find a secret warp from Marzipan Suburbs to Mount Blackhead (Future).
Just as well, I don't have a coder and have basically been creating the limited functionality my game has blind, so don't expect any features past basic movement and loading for a long time

LOL. Well I don't hate Macs, they're pretty cool but I'm on Windows 7. (Nearly always been on Windows.) I don't use my Mac since it's not the fastest of machines and it's graphics card performance is poor. I'm pretty sure .exe files don't work on Macs but .dmg files (and maybe .app) work on Macs.
I just use Safari or Maxthon most often (currently) when starting up FusionFall because they have proved most versatile, quickest, reliable, functional, etc. on my system in comparison.
I doubt Wiltilt's demo works on a Mac. Kinda one of the reasons why I asked Wilttilt if I could host it on Xtreme FusionFall Games, he hasn't said anything, therefore I assume: no. Oh well.
Sorry Fearless Mac buddy, if I'm able to convert Wilttilt's project into either a Mac standalone programme or a web version, I guess I'll put it up on a separate page that's unlisted on the Xtreme website. Sorry. So you're going to have to wait at best, unless you have a relatively ok Windows PC lying around somewhere. Of course, Wilttilt could export a Mac version too.

uh, it's might be because you don't have a file extractor, like WinRar

If Winrar only has a trial or whatever, you can just use 7zip or freearc or some other free .rar unzipping software. Remember to get it from a reliable source and scan the download before installation.
As for the mediafire thing, I could upload the file to another website but what's the difference? If the file has a virus (pretty unlikely but don't take my word for it) then the host isn't likely going to scan it reliably if at all. I KNOW mediafire has had BOTH infected and clean files so it can't be ruled out that that website has all sorts of files BUT the hosting itself isn't the problem I would have thought.
I don't know how to help you further 'sorry,bu'. Did you want a password added? Is that what you mean by secure? I'm guessing you mean viruses, in that case, it doesn't always matter about the hosting, really it depends on the file itself and I can't absolutely guarantee all the files are clean. I'd have to scan every single file (with Virus Total) in Wilttilt's download to be remotely confident in its cleanliness but the website it's hosted in won't make a difference. (Although there are fake hosting sites but Mediafire isn't fake, it just doesn't have the ability to check what files are completely clean and what files are infected.)
If you need further help, just ask.

nah winrar says it expires but it never does.7zip actually does expire
But I saw 'Donate' on the official 7-Zip website. and "You don't need to register or pay for 7-Zip." I can't remember if mine expired or if I simply uninstalled it but I thought it was free. Maybe it expires due to outdated versions? I dunno. Did it expire for you? Did you get it from a dodgey website?
Fearless Attackstone wrote:

On youtube there are winrar, 7zip, freearc, etc. tutorials.
But really all it is, is:
1. Download Wilttilt's file. (And scan or whatever, etc. etc.) 2. Download a free '.rar extractor' for example Free Arc or 7-Zip. (Or Winrar if you have that but I'm not sure if it's free or not. I don't think it is.) 3. When you've installed the extracting software, just right click Wilttilt's file and click extract... or something like that.
4. This will extract its contents and form a new folder, usually of the same name as the file. Just open that new folder and open the game. (I haven't got the file in front of me but I think it's self explanatory.)
@Fearless, try saving the file instead of directly opening it from your browser. Then follow the above steps. I'm not sure if it will work with Macs. Wilttilt said it does but I don't understand how a .exe file can be opened on a Mac system. I guess it's worth a try.
