so it would seem as though a company (i haven't bothered to check the name) has decided to make the 1st movie out of a video game, instead of the other way around that often sucks, now right now you're probably thinking this is fake, but it's completely legit, the company itself has announced the it, oh, i almost forgot, it's a movie out of ratchet and clank, retelling the events of the 1st game, i don't really know how this could go, i'm on the fence, but it's announced for 2015, so we'll have to wait 2 years 1st, anyway, here's the teaser trailer

I kinda want to see this! I really enjoyed Ratchet & Clank. I was only able to play the first one though, but it was probably one of the best games I've played.

This probably would've been the 3rd movie if the Legend of Spyro and Crash of the Titans movies came out. Probably. Kinda wish the Legend of Spyro movie came out NOW, since we've seen the direction the series went in now.

My friend would LOVE this news! I've never played a Ratchet and Clank game, so I don't know what to think of the games, but I'd like to see this movie.

you get my point, in spite of that, it's still the 1st movie NOT BASED OFF OF A SHOOTER, granted ratchet and clank has a lot of shooting and blowing (insert censor here) up, but it's the 1st not completely mature or horror based game movie, it still has that

There hasn't been a Zelda movie. It'd be kind hard to make one, considering you'd have to think on where in the timeline to put it (And in which timeline), and then the fact Link never speaks. Except he did speak twice in Skyward Sword, but you didn't hear anything.

Tbh, I'd actually like a Skyward Sword movie. Three reasons. The Sky, Pipit and, of course, Groose. Mainly Groose.

Actually Dragoon, it is. I've seen it. It's hated by critics. I sort of liked it. To me it was meh. When you've played the games beyond the SNES era, it isn't as good.

What happens is when the meteor hit the Earth 6.5 million years ago, it actually created an alternate reality, the one where we're in, and the Mario World. One day, Mario and Luigi are looking for work when they suddenly found the portal to Mario World.

There are a few things wrong with it. The Toads are humans (By "human", I mean human/reptile hybrids), Peach is named Daisy, there are two Koopa Troopas, Goombas look like monsters with suits, Yoshi's a raptor and King Koopa is also human.

I guess one thing funny about it is when Mario and Luigi are arrested, and they're asked for their names.

i don't count it because it's live action...and...uh...it doesn't follow the plot of the games, and i assume they were like "I'm a Mario" "And I'm a Luigi" or something

There were a few Tomb Raider movies, and I believe there was one of Mortal Kombat. I'm not going to count the Pokemon movies, since they're connected with the anime more than the games.

Like I said, there were GOING to be a movie on the Legend of Spyro and Crash of the Titans each. I wish Spyro went in the same direction Crash went. Cancel the movie and instead of becoming a huge sellout for a game where you have to BUY figures for the game in order to play it (Who's lame idea was that? Really? There's probably a reason we didn't see that kind of thing in Toy Story 3), and instead get a possible new game for Wii U, PS3 (Or 4) and 360.

Apparently the next Crash game is going to be published by famous franchise-murderers Anti- I mean Activision. But that possibly would be made up for by the fact it's being developed Vicarious Visions. Then again, VV developed the Skylanders games...

Anyway, anyone think of any other video-game movies?
