Rock says flood insurance is stupid... but it sometimes helps

ok so on a ride home on da bus i was talking of how i think flood insurance should not exist in the dessert its just pointless yet i see commercials for it all the time where i live that argument went on for 5 min and guess what 2 days later i say flood insurance commercial and turned the tv off as soon as it came on that night 1 of the pipes in the shink burst.. its a sign i swear my living room and kitchen flooded with 2 inches of water so i had to get towels and tried to squeeze it into a bucket that didnt work i tried mopping it but then i found the biggest most oldest vacum i ever seen and came in it still took me till from 9:00pm to 12:00am to clean up all the water from my house i lost some papers im sure but that sucked so now remember dont judge a book by its cover or stupid karma will kick in a be a son of a fish and ruin your day/sink now if you dont mind me im off to see when da plumbers coming then maybe not judge flood insurance commercials in the middle of the dessert pale

I read the title and immedietly remembered all the floods we had over here at the beginning of the year. I saw on the news that they were putting up some kind of inflatable dams. Now, I see one word that is wrong with that, and it isn't 'Dam'. Luckily, I never get flooded cause our town is basically built on a hill.

a pipe bursted through the sink my poor old house is not holding up so good with the plumbing we had another pipe burst after the night we got that 1 fixed
