| Some of you may remember that picture I did of Oliver and Alice at the beginning of December last year. If not, here it is: - Spoiler:
Back when I still had my old laptop, with Photoshop and that scanner. Good times... Anyway, if you do remember, good for you. You also may be expecting a new version of it for my 2nd F.L.A.M.E.S. Art Contest submission. Well... no. It's that time again when I'm suffering from that stupid creator's block. :sigh: Technically, it is a new version, but isn't. It's the coloured version. I just dug up my original from the pile of art on my old desk next to my bed and simply coloured it. Here it is (Hopefully some of you can see the difference from Undelos and Alice this time): - Spoiler:
If you don't know who Alice is, or what 'Zombieweasel' is (Apart from the last names of Oliver, Prof. and Lia), check the story here: - Spoiler:
Alice Gammawarrior is the fictional (Yes, fictional. Owned by me, not my actual girlfriend) girlfriend of Oliver. She was planned to be in what was to become the internet animated series 'Zombieweasel'. 'Zombieweasel' was going to be a show taking place about 2 years after the original 7 Legends broke up (Not the movie. That takes place after the show).
Oliver is trying to lead a normal life (After thinking Planet Fusion is destroyed), when suddenly, the real Planet Fusion (The previous was a mother ship) started invading. For the rest of the year up to 2012 (Long story. Ask me if you're confused), when Dexter, the KND and the Plumbers decide that the whole world will need to take on the Fusions. Oliver's younger sister, Lia, decides to enlist in the Urban Rangers, and their older brother, the Prof., decides to work for Dexter.
The whole animated thing was scrapped due to complications. Then the thing became a comic, but after editing the 2nd page on PS, that was scrapped too. Then, it became a story. Which I have yet to finish. I might try again on the comic idea now that I have more time. This time, using the traditional method. Paper, pencils etc.

Thanks! And like I said before, I might try again once the contest is over. Last time, I just rage quit when doing the 2nd page, when Photoshop just crashed, I was on the last panel, and I didn't save. So yeah, I might go back to making comics the same way I've always made 'em. Except this time, I'm not selling them in the school playground for 20p. I also feel like doing the original 7 Legends first, then Zombieweasel. Ya know, chronological order. Speaking of comics, I wonder what happened to X's comic? We haven't heard from it in weeks.  |

Doesn't work on this computer, remember? Besides, I find it takes me more time to colour on PS than using pencils. I wonder how much work X has. I mean, he hasn't even been on during the weekend! | Dare I remind you guys (For the ones that were here last year, of course) that I used a tutorial for this? Probably the first time I used an art tutorial, and it actually came out as something I'm pleased with. Slightly embarrassed, yes. But still pleasing. |
