I ran into a beta player today while Bad Max hunting. He had a Cryptid Backpack.

I think he will join the legion of Cryptid Carriers here on Xtreme.

His name is Ranger cheesearmor
After speaking with him, I was able to tell that he was a pretty cool guy. So I became generous and gave him a Val Halen's Guitar, an Ice Mace, and over 1,200,000 taros.

Just because.

It was his first time logging in since the end of Beta. So...........we went level grinding and I helped him register with the Skyway Agents from Orchard bay to Endsville. Then I decided to teach him about RE-Paks and figured I'd help him upgrade his look. Helped him register in the Unknown on Mandark's Carrier, Huntor's Crest, and the Precipice.

I'll have to put together a RE Pak for his Upgrade jacket though.

But there ya go Captain OZw.

you know technically the number has always been the same since beta ended, people aren't just randomly obtaining them, unless of course you account trading as that, but the number is still the same

Actually, there was a short period of time just after the code redeem feature was fixed that you could redeem the Cryptid Backpack, as well as most of the bubbleheads, the Candle Hat, and re-redeem Clockwork.

lol the code section doesnt even exist to this day but they do update in game ads which is somethin I guess even the word hopeless has the word hope in it.

I have seen people claim they are "beta" players, they could have just bought the account, but that was nice of ya, just hope he isnt lying to you..

Well the reason why I gave him a Val Halen's guitar is because I've been working on getting some as prizes so, to part with one is trivial since I have to eventually get ahold of more anyways. Besides, I wasnt gonna use the Ice mace and I have enough taros.

So it's not like I parted with something rare that I'll never get again.

XD alot of times I get lazy to be honest like I only read about 1/4 of the reverse engineering or whatever,
but It seems like a good idea but you can just combine any item to any level as long as it says 1 +
it will be possible
