I've been giving the FusionFall Server thing some research and I think I might have hit on something:
You can actually rent a Private Server.
Now i'm still doing some research on it but it seems that a website called Clanplanet.co.uk offers servers for rent. They seem to handle all the hardware issues and such, they provide Teamspeak, as well as easy to use Game Moderator controls(I think). There's even an option for other players to contribute money to its rent space.
Now, as far as paying for it, I think I can make something happen once I get a job but as far as the whole Idea for it.........what do you guys think?
With this, we can provide the Moderation the game needs. In time, I can see us eventually moving on to our OWN server or just upgrading the specs on our account with Clanplanet and in time, edit some of the easy to fix bugs with the game.

I mean, even if you had a server right now, what would you do with it? Don't you have to worry about getting FusionFall (or your own remake) physically up and running first?
It's like setting up a game for multiplayer without considering the game itself. Does anyone apart from Zero know what I'm talking about...

First off, I wanted to tackle the issue of the lack of GMs in the game.
2.) I saw that one of the things you need are just the game files. You dont really need to create an all new game. Right now, Clanplanet hosts servers for mainly FPS games........however, I think you can have them host up a server of another MMO if you want.
Now I'm not entirely sure if all of that's the case so I'll still be doing some research.

I don't think game files are that easy to obtain and use but you're researching so whatever lol.
I'm just experimenting in Unity. Found tonnes of errors when opening very old projects.

Well, Wilt's managed to get ahold of the Game files I believe, so that wont be a problem.
Now, I would give them a call since I found a phone number............but that format doesnt look like any number I've ever seen. Do you know if thats the number I dial? I think US numbers are usually 1-800-xxx-xxxx. This one starts with a zero. Is that normal in the UK???

Usually UK numbers have 11 digits and probably begin with 0.... E.g. 07...... (for mobile phone/cell phone numbers) E.g. 0208... (telephone numbers I think) E.g. 0800... (free phone)
You guys are more serious than I thought. While I'm playing around in my sandbox known as the Unity engine, you guys are making a new empire.... Wouldn't multiplayer be cool.

Thing is this is cartoon network.Their web sercurity will be high but if you think this can really work out than ok

Well........IMserious about it. I actually want to run my own MMO. Every so often I think about what I want to do with my talent. I figure I dont want to be stuck at somewhere like EA......I also dont want to start my own gaming company............I'm just lazy as ##.
However, I DO like the idea of dedicating myself to a specific project, constantly improving it over time, and finding new things to add to it.
Now I guess If a Private Fusionfall server works out then that's cool. If I just end up starting an all new game of my own creation then that'll just be the case.

I have not managed to get ahold of any game files except for textures. Yeah, you would need THE server exe, as well as the buddy, Email, and chat server exes for FusionFall. I imagine their server system allows for YOU to have YOUR game published, with some additionaly support, etc. They aren't gonna go on ahead and mess with stolen CN official games.

From most of the potential I think ive seen and ideas if there was a game to be made here it sounds like it would start of really well for said game but coding processing and getting a story line is real hard work plus to get this to be successful. But yea im not understanding the concept that well if the game is the exact thing or just a whole new project aside from fufa that the company hosts
