| Reminds me of Erza Scarlet. even had a bad injury on that same eye too.
Good luck. I've been kinda working on my own drawing style too. I might have one...........but it takes a while to do. I found out that the textures I make from using my pens creates my own look.
Now I just gotta find out what it looks like when I add color to it. |

there are two main things you need to learn which are value (what's the shape of something and how light/shadow works on them, this video teach a lot about it www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VX-wu... ) andcolor picking. Keep this in mind: don't let the shadow gets too gray or blackIt looks like you're using the burn and dodge tool to shade right now and these tools should only be saved for hi-lighting or something, not the shading part. Overusing those tools can lead to a mess, I have been avoiding them for so long haha. Try to pick different colors and use any brush of your choice to shade! I recommend adjusting the "flow" setting of the brush so they'll look a bit more painterly I guess?24.media.tumblr.com/cf7c9722c5... Here's a process of this deviationezroseven.deviantart.com/art/A...I actually used Paint Tool SAI for this drawing but I believe the same drawing can be done in photoshop too! Don't be afraid of messing up, just paint over all of them. I use very few layers for my drawing or sometimes only one (paint over the line art). But it seems like you are going for the clean art path so just try to keep things inside the line...ezroseven.deviantart.com/art/C... <I didn't use airbrushes at all so the colors seem more naturalI am not really good explaining, hope it didn't bore you too much! ;u;Good luck!! |
