Animation was awesome, plot sucked. No room for character development or anything. Plus a few of the actors couldn't act.

Saw it on opening day, and I can say it's worth a watch, cool plot, some cheesy moments, AWESOME robots, and Kaiju, an "okay" ending, and great fight scenes, I can conclude it as a cool summer movie! and shall we never forget "sniff" Crimson Typhoon! may he rest in peace....

I've seen the reviews on rotten tomatoes. I tell you what, I liked the movie for what it was. Didn't notice the poor acting jobs, not really an expet on knowing how to tell. As faras the plot, can't say I was thrilled about the whole REAL reason the monsters were coming out of the trench but whatever. It was good for everything else.

It was supposed to be a homage to saturday morning cartoons. So that's why it wasn't really character heavy and such. I mean,Super Sen- Power Rangers do that all the time and no one complains.
