EA is just getting better and better, it seems they've been ramping up prices for Xbox One and PS4 games in the UK and some other places, with the U.S. probably not far behind, in Euros, it's like 55.5 or something (i'm not good with conversion) translating to $80 here in the U.S.

as a gamer (although i don't buy many EA games) i'm not happy about this, so i'm spreading the word that it's time for a good old fashion boycott, it's time to show EA that we won't stand for this, no 1 in the right mind is gonna pay $80 for a game, so as such, if you choose to be smart, do not buy any games that EA makes until they learn we will not be pushed around, that goes for pre-orders aswell, and DLC

No one really buys madden and all those EA sports games right guys? guys? I think its a waste of cash when u can play real sports.

i'm more referring to the overdone Call of Duty and Battlefield, if anyone plans on buying it, or as pre-ordered, don't and cancel the order, it's the only way EA will change their greedy minds

 isn't that obvious, the point of this is stop them from raising prices, a new gen doesn't mean you can just raise game prices by $20, we're looking for lower priced games, not XTREMELY expensive 1s, anyone that tries to raise prices passed $60 is gonna get major flack, EA doesn't listen to flack, they listen to how things sell, and that's what we're gonna use

if you think the gaming community is gonna stand for this, then you're wrong, anyone with intelligence can say right now that enough is enough with EA's ##, if you want to stop this, then you can join the other smart people and not buy their stuff, everyone else is keeping to $60, EA is just being stupid

and yea EA sports game are a waste of time no joke.. all games are a waste of time and bad for you unless educational purposes. which most games we play arent like fusionfall.. and others.

Battlefield is a classic non overdone game, they dont make a new game like CoD the demand IS SO DANG high for BF because its yet to disapoint

Better than video editing I can tell you....
Editing the 7 Legends clips is really boring now.... (Especially lag, rendering times, other problems....)

Anyway, I disagree about BattleField being overdone (if you compare it to Call Of Duty, it's a really different style of FPS gaming, better in my opinion) but I agree that it seems
a bit unfair to charge that much for a video game. (But what do I know...I'm not a video game developer (or company) past amateur stuff of a teenager
so I don't know how much it costs EA or whoever to pay their workers fairly.)

I remember when video games used to be like £10. (PS1 days!  )
At least I think they were that cheap.... 

call of duty brings back the same thing every year but everytime just improve a bit change guns a bit and add some cool features new guns obviously like every game and other stuff
Battlefield makes a entirely new game with a diffrent play style way more features, way more things to do.

i'm not very knowledgeable on the difference between the 2, the point is, don't buy anything that EA publishes and/or makes until they drop the prices, as for why, they're just trying to squeeze every last drop of money possible, it's not about needing it

Since they don't have much to lose when it comes to sports games,  they can afford to experiment. Thus, opening the door to oother companies,  depending on sales and success,  to do the same.

All EA cares about is money. This is evident by C&C 4

I hope this doesn't effect the future "Maxis" line of games, like The Sims 4  or SimCity 6. ಠ_ಠ

then explain why all other publishers are sticking to $60, it's because they know WAY less people will buy if it's above that, whenever EA feels like it benefits them, they try to *bleep* over gamers, stop trying to support and rationalize this and wake up your tiny mind, people that still go and buy from companies in spite of how horrible they are is what ruins an industry

well stop rationalizing it then, there's no need for EA to raise prices, whenever they do ANYTHING it's for their own benefit, remember online passes, those left because EA thought DRM would take care of the online passes thing, they'll be back soon, with DRM gone (probably) it's only a matter of time

i'm not worried, i barely even buy their junk, i'm just helping the people that do...you know, besides Battlefield players  and uh, also to prevent other publishers from following this, otherwise it'll be like, $100 a game, does anyone wanna see that

unless it's just that good, then it wouldn't be wise, Mass Effect for example. great series, shame EA had to go and ruin the ending to the 3rd 1 by rushing it out the door :sigh: so many promises, ruined by EA, maybe the next game set in the universe will have a better ending and fulfill it's promises, it could've been an Alpha Protocol, every choice made determines what happens... ok maybe not that unique
