Sorry mods, I didnt want to double post, my thread for the 4th time, but this discussion is pretty deep to some gamers 
Well I am going to put this in a spoiler box
I am gonna give my opinion on the ending, and why I think joel "lied" at the end of this heart pounding, incredible game.

At the hospital there are recordings of other immunes that have failed to work, joel didnt want to put her at the risk of it not working. What if it did work? What would it do? mankind is pretty much destroyed more then the entire world is infected. It would take SO long and it may not even bring things back to how they where, there will be bandits and more.. joel has been through alot he lost his daughter and you wake up in the campaign from a dream of what happened on the night. After 20 years he still dreams about it, it pretty much haunts him. In order for the operation or the vaccine to even be made ellie HAS to die. He doesnt wanna take the risk of this. Ellie is pretty much his cause for fighting and livin for. Also at the hospital he kills ellies old gaurdian or the women who took care of her because if he didnt, they would try to find ellie and kill joel..
I really enjoyed this game, I wish they made a movie of it.. I mean looking back at the game there are so many moments where I get the feels man... Especially the tune when something happens.. 
If you havent played the last of us, maybe because its to expensive. Rent it or something its worth your time and money.
I especially love the multiplayer its pretty fun and theres like no such thing as over powered. Its all skill and tactics.. I am still learning and getting better
Well PLEASE tell me what you think of the ending, and lets discuss this st00f.

This is my favorite game besides battlefield 3.
