Late last night, NanoCom X's interface was changed a little bit. Support for smaller screens (down to 1024x768) and the scrollbar issue for Google Chrome has been resolved. A black screen issue may still be experienced by IE users out there, but do not worry. A fix will be available for you real soon.
If you would like a key for open chat, please post on the chat request thread at FMHQ.
New to NanoCom X or haven't tried it yet? Watch this:
If you have any questions or would like to report a bug, feel free to post here, as I'll be checking back often.

This is something that I've already looked into. Unfortunately, due to the high screen refresh rates the Unity Player projects, it is impossible to put a DIV (small window within a page) over the actual game window, as it will not appear. The game window will overlap anything but a cursor, label, or other popup window.

Not sure about that. He has to work around the Gameplay window. Right now, he has the NCx window coded to adjust to any size computer screen. However it works too well and ends up covering up the "Continue" button.
He'd be hard pressed to add in a new feature to an already pressed-for-space Interface. But cant guarantee that he cant do something about it.....
Dont forget about adding Crowd-Controlling Features Jake.

Screen issue: Make sure your browser window is set at 100% (Ctrl+0) If it doesn't work, I need to know what browser and OS your using, and your screen dimensions.
Chat issue: It was brought down earlier for updating. Since then, I haven't brought it back up because in-game chat is up. However, I did just bring the system back online in the rare event that someone wanted to use it regardless of the in-game chat status...

Yeah. You should just leave it up if it doesnt cost you in any way to host it.
My cousins have really gotten into playing and its not easy to reassure them that chatting with other players across the world wont result in them running into bad people to put it bluntly.
They're worried about the stupid grubby pedos out there. its sad that they ACTUALLY have to worry about foul language. In all honesty, I'd prefer it if they use NanoCom X. I know full well that you or any other mod has full power over the chat and can ban anyone from using it if they break the rules, which right now IS HIGHLY NEEDED.
I went to show them today what FusionFall is REALLY like, you know, with the chat up. It was supposed to be "Hey guys! check this out! you can now talk to others on the game! You can even ask for help on missions and just watch people talk about interesting things in general."
I get in the cul-de-sac and the SECOND thing that pops up in the world chat was something so foul I cant even repeat here.
I had to quickly turn the camera around. Hopefully they didnt see it.
I hate to say...............but I dont think I want the in-game chat really around. Its so weird to think of chat in the mindset of my Uncle and his wife. They REALLY want the best for their kids and they are the IDEAL parents of Game-loving kids. They watch the ESRB ratings of games..........they are VERY wary of what they are playing online......and yet, they let them have decent freedoms when it comes to playing any manner of game.
I really feel bad that there are horrible players online that trash up this amazing game for them. I know there is only so much I can do before they ultimately see the horrible players online. I really want them to play..............but I know its only a matter of time before their parents see the horrid players and eventually tell them never to play again.
I feel ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE that I FULLY understand and agree with CN's decision to get rid of chat now.
I always try to use NCx whenever I go in game. That way if anyone else goes to use it, they wont see a vacant chat.
My screen size is about 15.6 (19in x 10.5in..........I think I messed that up) and I usually use firefox. sometimes I switch to Chrome when I want to do Network Close shots...............but I dont really do THAT often.

I took him to Nowhere to look for a Neonex Axe since those things are just POSITIVELY GORGEOUS in a deadly, intimidating kind of way.

A fix for IE users is now available. Simply launch NanoCom X and you'll be presented with an article on how to allow NanoCom X to run the game in Internet Explorer.

I decided to try out Nanocom X again last night, and I have to say... I'm impressed. Seems smoother for me than playing from the site. But then again, I haven't played FF in weeks before then.
No hard feelings tho i hate math too.
