Apparently, there's going to be a new Pokemon special in October in Japan that goes back to Red and Blue/FireRed and LeafGreen.
So instead of Ash, there will be Red. Hopefully, he'll get an actual name in this. Anyway, his starter will be Charmander. Here's the trailer. It's in Japanese, but who cares?:
Even though I haven't been a big Pokemon fan since I was 5 or 6 (I honestly can't remember), I am looking forward to this! I hope it airs in more than just Japan.

They should have had another main Protagonist FOREVER AGO. Instead of making more Pokemon........they should have offered a new type of story. Have Ash cameo in once in a while. Im not one of those that hates all the new pokemon..........I just feel that they shouldnt have made so many. Hoenn region pokemon was enough.
Nowdays, if you ask a kid who claims they are a pokemon fan what a Kanto is........they wont have a clue what it even is.

That sounds good. Every time I try watching any of their new series though, I find it tedious having to wait for a next episode. I'm used to Netflix. Watching full seasons in a day or two.

except in the anime they ignored that and made splash a slap with it's tail I think, let me check
someone who saw that episode correct me if that isn't splash.
